When I was a kid we had reruns of the show every weekday and I watched it religiously. When I got in trouble my parents would give me a choice between getting spanked or not watching Batman. I always chose the spanking.

Sad to hear that Adam West has now gone to that great Bat Cave in the sky.

I remember very vividly being a kid in the summer/fall of 1989, and looking forward to the reruns of the Adam West Batman tv show that was being aired on the Family Channel at that time.

Course I think ALOT of my interest, though not completely, was due to the Tim Burton 1989 Batman movie with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson, but I loved the Adam West series just the same.

Two very different tones and approaches, but to me, any good Batman, was most certainly welcomed, and West was a BOSS in that role.
