I read this book five years ago and even then it struck me as being very accurate in the way it describes SJWs and liberal idiots who help Islam literally enslave Europeans.

Kratman has said that the book didn't really do well in terms of copies sold and he doesn't even consider it to be his best work. But after reading his other books, I think this is his best work till date.

The story is set in 2103 where all of Europe has fallen to Islam with an Arab/ME elite and enslaved native Europeans. The only holdout is Switzerland, Russia has in turn enslaved its Muslims, Israel probably exists but no one talks about it and America is leading the fight.

The story also shows how the fall started with flashbacks via the diary of a SJW German woman from our time. Her granddaughter is the one who is sold as a child sex slave and is one of the central characters.

Edit - Oh, and I read it last year or the year before. I had it for years but for some reason never got around to cracking it open. It's pretty good. I don't remember the details well enough to say how prophetic it is, exactly. Worth reading, either way.

The fighting aged Muslim men will cheerfully die all the while praising Allah with all of their souls, as European idiots stand around offering them flowers and trying not to be judgemental.

The situation with Europe has become intractable. They WILL NOT eject the swarms of fighting aged Muslims from their countries, and they will not accept that those same Muslims mean to kill every one of them who doesn't convert. Even worse, in places like the UK, right thinking citizens are being crushed by their own government representatives for voicing opposition to the unregulated flood of fighting aged Muslim men.

And again, the VOTERS of Europe consistently select pro-flood migration candidates.

I'll give Europe 25 years before Christian churches all across the continent are being pulled down and replaced with Mosques. Frankly, even that timeline might be a little optimistic.

Simple - lack of knowledge. In the US most join Islam in prison or they did in big waves in the 70s or 80s. The Muslims told blacks pretty lies. They never read the Quran and the Hadiths (where the most atrocious stories against blacks are found) were not translated until the 80s and 90s.

I'm a black American. I read a lot but really had no idea about slavery in the Muslim world until recently when I studied it on my own. I had no idea that Saudi Arabia only abolished slavery until 1962 and that there slavery in the Muslim world right now. There is a lot of ignorance surrounding Islam.

Due to the influence of individuals like Malcolm X Islam, in particular the Nation of Islam, became associated with black pride and black self esteem during racism in the United States. Similar to how people gravitate to nationalism when their culture is being attack, blacks experiencing racism gravitated towards Islam or the Nation of Islam.

Then there's the Left. The white Left wants to protect Islam from all criticism in order to preserve the ideas of moral relativism and the multicultural utopia. The black Left wants to pretend that the west, American slavery, white people and capitalism are uniquely evil. If it is pointed out that Arab Muslims enslaved blacks for a longer period of time and are enslaving them to this day, it upsets this argument. As a result, they try to hide this information and only grudgingly admit it when it's pointed out. They make excuses and rationalization of Islamic slavery in a way that they never would with European slavery.

The book kept me pretty riveted and I read it all yesterday and today. Highly recommended.

It was written a decade ago, not long enough to go to call it prophetic but the author's on point and clearly knowledgeable. He predicts shit really hitting the fan faster than things have actually unfolded, but his timeline might not be so far off. Time will tell.

In the story I infer that he predicted a Hillary Clinton presidency, and then a much more ruthless, totalitarian populist president coming after. So this story might be like a future we avoided by getting a President Trump. Or it will come faster, but then the battle for survival of western civilization is more winnable (if things must go that way).

I tried to avoid too many spoilers hence the vagueness.

Might have been technically abolished, but a trip to the middle east will teach you that "legal" slavery is still happening there.

There are different kinds of modern slavery. There's the exploitation of domestic workers (mostly in Persian Gulf countries), with a lot of abusive cases, but it's not quite real slavery. Hundreds of thousands of migrant workers from the Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other third world countries are still streaming in for those jobs, you'd think if they were being enslaved they would stop going there. The great majority of those domestic workers do manage to send some money home, that's why they keep going there. If the situation was real slavery, you'd think they would have stopped going there after a few decades. There are over 2 million Filipinos in the Gulf countries today.

There is also lot of abuse of Asian workers in the construction industry of Gulf countries, but 18th century-style slavery with african captives led in chains is a cliche. That abuse is no different than what you have in other Asian countries with sweatshops throughout the continent.

There is a lot of human trafficking worldwide, including in the US, forced labor and human trafficking is a $150 billion industry worldwide. It's mostly under the control of mafias like the Triads, and China is probably the greatest offender:

Were any of these people involved in slavery or human trafficking, or have any expertise on the subject? I don't think that modern human trafficking is a theological subject. I would take the opinion of actual experts on human trafficking, people like Conchita Sarnoff, who is anything but a globalist, she's been leading the crusade against globalist sex traffickers, at a personal risk, by taking on people like Jeffrey Epstein:

You really think most of the middle east, and central america, should be grey on that map? At least Saudi Arabia gets light blue, it should probably have it's own special shade of dark blue. So Zel is wrong that Saudi Arabia has no representation, but it is surely underrepresented. And the majority population in gulf countries are imported "workers." Not that they don't work, I'm sure they do a hell of a lot, but how does that not count as human trafficking?

And Europe accepting all these refugees, now they get to be considered predators and recipients of (very) high levels of human trafficking. Is it not human tracking criminal organizations, teamed up with NGO's, bringing the invasion in?

@Moto - If you liked Caliphate, you should also check out Kratman's Carerra series. The first one is "A Desert Called Peace" which is available for free on Baen. It's also the best in the series IMO. After that Kratman seems to have suffered from sequel-itis.

Basically, it's how the author believes the Iraq/Afghanistan war should have been fought after 9/11. But the whole thing takes place in the future on another world and instead of Muslims, the fanatics are called the Salafi Ikhwan.

He should have just created an alternate history/present book and that would have seemed more realistic.

I am afraid you are very correct. And yes, 25 years is an optimistic time line. My hope is that it happens so quick that America will wake up and realize this is a problem.

Politicians in all Europe are more interested in getting international jobs and "awards" than taking care of their own people. As a matter of fact, many of same leaders openly do not consider themselves leaders of their countries, but merely governors within the global nation.

I want America to get more together as we can and awaken to face these problems. There is no other option left.

Finally, there is another book I would recommend anyone to read. It is called "While Europe slept". It is being written by a gay man that is as clear in his perception of what is going on as I have noted of anyone of today.
