Diverse feminist groups in Spain are preparing a bill aimed at obtaining 'real equality between sexes, genders, and sexual indentities', which includes the elimination of urinals, the conversion of public toilets to unisex bathrooms, a ban on disguising girls during carnival as princesses and boys as cowboys, and last but not least prohibiting men to pee standing, among many other restrictions.

According to this project, the violation of any of these laws and the promotion of "similar macho stereotypes will be sanctioned with fines of €3,000 to €20,000."

Specifically, article 8 of the proposed bill contains details which detail the prohibition of standing urination for all men.

It is obligatory that absolutely all human beings, irrespective of their sex, gender or sexual identity, urinate seated. Studies from several US and Swedish universities [why am I not surprised] say that this seating position is not only anti-discriminatory, but also more hygienic and healthier.

This law would be an extension of the gender identity law of the Community of Madrid, which was unanimously approved the PP, PSOE, Ciudadanos, and Podemos, a law that is not as radical as this new proposal made by various Spanish feminist groups.

Find below the 14 articles of this bill, which has not yet been officially submitted to the Government:

Quote:1) Pediatricians and gynecologists must announce to 'progenitors' A and B that their child "has sexual organs as a boy or as a girl".

2º) The use of blue and pink colors in pajamas, diapers, jackets, hats and other garments in the pediatric areas of public, private and private hospitals is prohibited. The garments will be necessarily white or with the color of the rainbow flag.

3) It is forbidden to dress the girls of the queen, princesses or any other aristocratic figure. It is forbidden that children dress in jeans, civil guards, musketeers, medieval warriors, Roman legionaries.

4) It will be obligatory for each party, parade or carnival to have a percentage of identical boys and girls in each role traditionally assigned to the male and female sexes.

5º) The psychological services of the schools have the obligation to notify the social services of the City Council or the Autonomous Community when in their examinations they detect that a girl insists on identifying with personages traditionally submissive to the heteropatriarchy, as Snow White, the Little Mermaid, or the Beautiful one Sleeping.

Parents who have instilled or allowed to be instilled in their daughters, biologically, adopted or engendered by surrogate gestation, such sexist stereotypes will be sanctioned with fines of 3,000 to 20,000 euros.

If the relevant social services consider it appropriate, they may be removed from custody of their daughters.

6) It will be mandatory for underage human beings to receive a share of non-sexist and discriminatory toys on their birthdays, Magi, Noeles, Santa Clauses and other festivities.

7) All public toilets will be converted in a term not exceeding one year in unisex bathrooms. The urinals hitherto used by humans with male sex organs will be eliminated.

8) It will be obligatory that absolutely all human beings, irrespective of their sex, gender or sexual identity, urinate seated. Studies from several US and Swedish universities say that this position is not only anti-discriminatory, but also more hygienic and healthier.

9) In order to break with the impositions that fashion, elaborated by unbridled capitalism and with heteropatrialcal criteria, it will be mandatory for men to undergo a complete waxing of limbs with hot wax.

The accredited beauty establishment will issue a certificate of having performed this compensatory behavior. The presentation of this certificate will be essential for the obtaining of the passport and the registration in oppositions to official of the Public Administrations.

10º) Included in the Circulation Code is the prohibition of the expression "it must be a woman!" Or anything similar in traffic arguments or pertinent discussions. Those who use them to harass or discriminate the drivers who identify with the female sex will be fined with a minimum of 600 euros and a maximum of 6,000 euros and will have five points removed from the driving license.

11) The word "asshole" (gilipollas) will be deleted from the RAE dictionary and replaced by "gilicoños", in the same situations and with the same meaning as the previous one, in order to make women and Transsexuals identified with the female gender.

12) The mandatory principles of the Second Plan of Gender Equality in Education of the Junta de Andalucía on the elimination of sexist language are transferred to the national level. In this way, teachers will always have to talk about "pupils and students" and "fathers and mothers"; And when possible, generic terms such as "teaching staff", "students" or "the management team" will be used. The scholarship recipients will be called "scholarship recipients" and the unemployed "people without paid work". Given the extent of this matter, a regulation will develop soon.

13) In accordance with the principles respectful of the intimacy and individual sovereignty that inform this Government, the representatives of established religious creeds in Spain are urged to adapt their dogmas, narrations and sermons to this decree, so that Include the female reference. Thus, they should refer to God as Goddess and include the Mother together with the denomination of the Father.

In the event that the repeated failure to comply with this recommendation is established, the Government shall issue a decree-law imposing it.

14) A body of inspectors shall ensure in each municipality compliance with these inclusive and joint standards. Everyone I've ever known who's had to clean up ladies' rooms all say they're ten times worse, too. I don't want to know.

I think their contention is that men piss all over the toilets. Which unfortunately in Spain they do but not more or less than in other countries. What's gets to me personally is that ~80% of Spanish men (based on my own empirical study) do not wash their hands after taking a wizz. At the same time every single one of my pals insists on shaking hands when I see them. You can't refuse really and I try not to think about it to be honest - LOL
