I think the title sums it all up. Had a blast watching this old NBC footage.

I found Jeffries' capacity to never lose the frame in front of a large disapproving audience and troll throughout the conversation impressive and hilarious.

Nice find.

-Ross sounded impressively well-spoken and logical when he wasn't trolling the audience.
-The MRA guy came off as a bitter, whiny, pathetic loser with a superpower for drying up pussy.
-The male feminist dude just seemed like a giant sleazebag politician pandering to the masses with zero substance.
-And finally, the female audience behaved as an emotional hivemind that could not be reasoned with.

My takeaway is surprise at how little has changed in the past 25 years.

I've seen it before but I'm watching it again because it's interesting.

What I notice is that although the women are saying the usual typical, predictable things you'd expect, there's no bad attitude*, in fact it was quite playful. But that was in the early 90s. A conversation like that on a talk show nowadays would be very different. Credit must be given where it's due. At least people (women) were softer back then, and at least they kind of listened, to some extent. There was some snark, but it wasn't as bad as it is now. I even think that some of those females in the audience did get what was being said by Ross.

* Except for the ghetto trash queen at 13:30.

Ha! I'm going to use that for my own troll game...except I'll use Hoover Dam, since that is much more relatable to my geographic location.

I'm fairly willing to bet that after the show, Ross got his talk show host flag. The male feminist got his land whale flag and the whiny guy in a dress got his gym sock flag...again.

I take your point for sure, as far as the talking points go. What has changed though, is that back then, the only people who would have seen this were people who happened to be watching that tv show at the time it was on, and that's it.

Videotaping shows to watch later wasn't that popular back then, kind of a nerdy librarian impulse, and even if you did, how would you share it widely?

It is a sad fact that men and their experiences and problems existed, back then, mostly in isolation.

You didn't think that what you were experiencing and feeling was shared by millions of men not only across the country but across the world. You thought you were alone with your thoughts, and that the way your chick was misbehaving was specific to her.

You saw guys who were naturally good with women, and thought it was just something intrinsic to the individual, not a skill that could be learned.

You couldn't really share your feelings and doubts about women and the world with your friends, feeling as you did that you were the only one having them. What if you got mocked or dismissed? Better just to suck it up and get on with things.

It was the reach and the anonymity of the internet that changed all that. Men began to realize that women were AWALT, and all sorts of other guys were having exactly the same experiences they were.

And that changed everything. Comparing notes, learning the statistics and studies that gave the lie to feminist propaganda, reading lay reports, and figuring out a way to be successful with women that fit your personality.

Men finally had a fighting chance, and I for one am grateful to the internet, and places like this forum for this very reason.

I think that it is this very technology, that allows wide instantaneous dissemination, as well as anonymity, that will take down philosophies like feminism which rely on the isolation of men, and ignorance of female nature, and the constant subterranean feelings of shame.

So, you are right, all of the problems and solutions were probably there all along, but if men didn't have access to the vocabulary to define their experiences, as well as access to other men to put their heads together and decide what to do about it all, it was as if none of it existed at all.

And you left it to the media to tell you what to think about it.

For all of the challenges of today, I am so glad it is now and not then.

Welcome to narcissistic injury in action, to which the response is always rage (the shouting, the accusations of jerkdom) or denial ("You just masturbate! You don't have no women! You don't get no relationship!"). The only reason anyone ever gets mad enough to start ridiculing another person in public* is when that person poses a threat to that person's identity. These women are not getting mad on behalf of the plethora of women that Ross has slept with, they're mad because he asserts the same tactics could work on them.

This is a bunch of mis/overeducated women who were all taught they were strong and feminist and intelligent and stuff, and never actually sat down by Mom to say "Listen, dear, if he's got muscle, after sex he'll just hustle, why not just see if John next door has some personality behind the glasses?". They don't like the idea they could be done smooth criminal style. But notice how it's the black women who are loudest in the abuse and the denials? That would be because, most likely given the demographic, they've been fun-and-runned by someone like Ross before. Him laying this out is like the "Sorry babe, fuck off" conversation they may/may not have had with those guys in the past. Notice in particular the degenerate-looking black woman who brings up mother; can't get her to say something positive about a father, because she likely hasn't got one.





* Remembering this is stylised reality. Aside from the fact the women all feel to be in a safe environment because there's a shitload of them and they all draw off one another for approval of each other's reactions, they are most likely gee'd up by producers prior to the start of the show as well.

The main take home from me on this video; I'll have to look up Ross Jeffery's method. He's a bit of an ugly/ weird looking chap. If he's getting women then it must be due to good game.

Therefore this is the type of PUA you really want to learn from, because his system/method/game is good. He's not relying on looks because looking like Ross, he can't!

I'd previously not looked him up because I thought he had some weird NLP word system of game. But having seen this video I've changed my mind.

Looking at it from a business perspective the other take home from this is that Jefferys clearly did not expect to win any arguments here. Winning over the studio audience was not his objective in appearing on this show. In the pre Internet days, getting on TV was a major publicity coup. I bet he got a bump in sales and enquiries for his products after this TV appearance. His real target was his customer target demographic among the audience at home, you can see that is who he is really directing his message to.

By the way, from the title of this thread I thought it was going to be a joke ; "

Just from an anthropological point-of-view, I can't believe this is from 1992! I'm amazed at how little has changed during a quarter century in regards to gender and relationships, especially considering how much has changed in politics and technology in the past decades.

Wow - ROSS THE BO$$. He came prepared, meanwhile who knows what the hell was going on with that guy on the right? And the skirt, wtf?!

I've been considering lately universal truths that 99.9% of women can't stand...one leads to another in this clip:

1. Ross does not even say many crazy things, his basic premise, which is repeated many times, is that he knows what women will ACTUALLY RESPOND TO. He focuses on reality, not claims or feelings. Women cannot stand that it is even known that they have a code, let alone that it has been cracked. Which leads to point 2...

2. Woman cannot handle the fact that they are ALL 99.9% the same. Then when it is verbalized - all bets are off.

They are just some of the most fragile creatures in the world.

1) Holy shit, did we all look like this in the 1990s?

2) "I'm going to leave some of those balls hanging up in the air for you ladies to slam dunk." Women cannot dunk.

3) Listening to Ross talk, some of these women look like someone is explaining astrodynamics and they know their life hangs in the balance but they just can't quite get it. Especially toward the end when he mentions male biology.

4) The male feminist truly went off the rails comparing it to Hurricane Andrew. Arguably the single most valuable thing anyone ever took from Ayn Rand was the overarching concept of all her work, "objectivism": it doesn't matter if it's good, it's real. Thinking you'll politic your way out of forces of nature is laughable.

5) The guy in the middle is beneath comment.

I've been an admirerer of Mr. Jeffries for some time. His appearance in this talk show only goes to show what a strong individual he is. I recommend his Palo Alto seminar. The video itself is too long, so if you decide to watch it, just remember the NLP parts.

I could stand only a couple minutes of his video, but this MGTOW Sandman clearly shows the defectiveness of the Game-less Red Pill state.

In the vid he talks about a guy who lives in NYC and is sufficiently successful to have a solid life there. He "swallowed the Red Pill" some time ago, ditched his fiance, but now feels pressure all around him to date again after some mythical 8 months. He went of course all MGTOW abdicating women.

NYC is a good area for men to date, fuck and even marry with the lowest divorce rates in the country. The massive female surplus in the good age groups make the women behave far more and if the men make good money, then it's better than likely anywhere else in the US aside from Amish lands.

The advice that Sandman gives is to go associate himself with other single neckbeard MGTOWs. The funny part is also that he says how he talked about it with an MRA from the AVoiceForMen.

Those total morons never realize that taking the Red Pill while denying Game is almost like shooting yourself in the foot.

The PUA/traditional family man (even Christian family man like Dalrock with Game)/Red Pill married man with Game are able to either have experiences with sexy young things or have a stable happy marriage. It is Game that gives them an edge. Also we here are not bitter about women beyond the initial phase. Women are lovely creatures, sure - times are rotten - they bring out the female weaknesses, but we can deal with them when we find one who is not too lost and the environment is not bad - NYC/EE/FSU/Asia. We can deal even with ones living in the midst of social justice central.

In contrast both the MRA and MGTOWs offer NOTHING aside the Red Pill perceptions. In some ways those men are almost worse off.

In the Blue Pill state at least they would have gotten married and gotten children, gotten at least some happiness out of it, even if the woman divorced them.

Guess what motherfuckers - only 0,01% of you will be the genius level inventors like Tesla who lived without craving women.

I truly sense ever more that Red Pill without Game is just a waste of time.
