What should I do if a woman asks about past relationships and I've had none?
I'm starting to talk to more women now and one thing that keeps coming up is that they ask me about previous relationships. They always ask how many relationships I've had and the length of time they've lasted.

The only issue is that I haven't had any. When they ask their questions, out of shame I lie and say a number that I think sounds right for my age. I'm not sure what I should say though, because the thought of truthfully saying I have no experience because of fear doesn't seem like a good idea.

Be vague.

"Yeah it lasted a while, and it didn't work out." - with a noncommittal smirk.

If she pushes for details, just deflect. "You sure ask a lot of questions" and laugh it off.

A similar question was asked here (more specifically it was regarding a 30 year old virgin)
/thread-56102.html

Read Travesty and WestIndianArchie's answers. But in a nutshell: yeah, it's OK to obfuscate (be very vague) or tell white lies.

Dude, don't act like a beta. Tell her the GODAMNED truth. But you gotta sell that shit like it is the truth.
I see practically no harm in speaking the truth when you didn't have a relationship to start with. But on the contrary if you start peddling lies, you'll only end up being dishonest to yourself in the long run.

Telling the truth can be fine, but don't tell truths that will slit your throat. "I like to think about the future, not the past". Can't get tripped up on lies about fictional relationships, but you aren't saying anything that will hurt you.

RE: What should I do if a woman asks about past relationships and I've had none?
You can still be truthful without sounding needy or like a 40yr old virgin.

I'd make a joke out of it. Say something like "No woman has been able to tie me down yet", or "I haven't met the right woman to settle down with" or something like that with a little smirk or jerkboy chuckle. You want to make it seem as if you have high confidence in yourself....even if you don't you gotta fake it til you make it.

Then if they press you more you can get a little more serious and talk about how busy you've been, how hard you work, how dedicated you are to your job/career/school/education/trade/art/working out in the gym/reading/music whatever it is you are passionate about. And how being so dedicated didn't leave you a lot of personal time for relationships, but now you're getting to a place where you have more free time for dating. Say, sure I haven't had much time for relationships in the past, but make it seem like you are a busy, high value guy, not just some guy who has been sitting around not doing anything for the last few years of your life. Girls want to fuck busy guys with a ton of shit going on.

Just like men prefer virgins or girls with less notches, Some girls also want to fuck guys who haven't had many relationships before. To her there's less baggage, she won't think you're a player or a cheater, and for a lot of women, inexperienced men are easier to manipulate. Don't sell yourself that way, but she will pick up on it and file that away in her mind. It's important to remember you are selling yourself on dates, aka sales calls, so you always want to FRAME yourself positively. If you tell a woman how you've never had a relationship and you generally don't do shit, you're gonna seem like a loser. But if you tell her how busy and dedicated you are to something, and how you've never had enough time for a serious relationship, then you seem like a catch all of a sudden. See how framing can totally change the perception?

You don't have to lie about anything, just embellish the good parts of your life and play them UP! Hide your weaknesses and use your strengths, and have confidence in the good parts of yourself.

"If you always tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything." - Mark Twain.

This can pay off big if you plan on being with this person for awhile either dating or longer term plate.

You don't necessarily have to tell 100% but modify a truth to fit the situation so that it's easier to remember.

For example, when I have multiple dates, I might say I have a concert to go to with my cousin. Yes I'm going to a concert but not with my cousin. This way it's easier for me to remember it.

RE: What should I do if a woman asks about past relationships and I've had none?
I use to worry about the same thing, before I had been in actual dating relationships. It really use to hold me back. The main problem, I believe, is not the relationship experience, but the confidence issues associated with having no previous girlfriend. I never succeeded with women until I (after reading Roosh's works) took the attitude of "I must take the lead in everything". Men are the aggressor, the dominant sex. It's almost that simple. Women can very easily sense doubt, worry and hesitation, and that is the major deal breaker.

With that said, the way I overcame it, (at age 17) was by being vague. I would say that "I had been with", then insert the name of a girl she had no way of knowing, and that I had hooked up with a few times. It's not outright lying, and most importantly, can be said with confidence, as it is the truth.

Hope this helps

Tell her the truth? Is she willling to tell you how many guys she slept with? And would you believe it even though you cant verify ever?
Its pointless to be honest when you know the other party is not at the same level.
I guess everyone knows about their partners history before getting married? Or do they just shove it under the carpet pretending they know bit but they dont want to uncover?

With a smirk and laser eye contact..."I don't kiss and tell. Besides, the past is the past, and right now I'm here with you."

Then like a politician switch the conversation.

Her brain will be going 1000mph. If she keeps pressing you say you gave her her answer and that's it. Stand firm. They usually don't dig any further unless they're seriously neurotic and jaded about something in their own past that they're on guard about.

Dreams are like horses; they run wild on the earth. Catch one and ride it. Throw a leg over and ride it for all its worth.

I've been there. Do not underestimate this question. Firm up your body language and eye contact immediately when you hear it. Lift your chin. It's a test. You have to pass. Try to predict what she would like you to say. Do not act sheepish. She won't forget your answer.
Since you have no experience, lie. Say "just like everyone in this world, love is somewhere out there for me, I know I'll find it but I've had to kiss a few frogs. I'm sure you know what that's like?". Give her a chance to answer.
Do not hint at your inexperience, or seem like you're running through the girls.

"Pretty comes and pretty goes"

"I don't kiss and tell" SpectrumWalker beat me to it.

I like DamienCasanova's "No woman has been able to tie me down yet" Laugh

Sounds like a shit test. Agree and amplify and/or change the subject. Don't break your frame.

If she's looking for a notch count say "More than you!"

One thing you can learn right here, and right now that will help you be more attractive to women, as well as solve this little issue for you:

You don't have to answer her interrogation...

Use lines like:

"which relationship you talking about, last nights, this mornings, this afternoon, or the one we are about to have?"
"I am a virgin, you are the first woman I have met"
"I was gay for 20 years, you are the first women I have dated"
"I was a gigolo for the last few years, you are the first non paying woman I have been with"
"I just got out of prison, so no relationship experience":

"I'm sorry I didn't know this was an interview"
"I would have brought my notes if I knew this was going to be an exam"

Agree / amplify / obstruficate / play around but never get beta and answer all her questions like a good little boy.

"Keep your frame" means smile, smirk, deadpan stare, nudge or overact while you deliver her lines.

Treat her like she is a 10 year old asking dumb questions.

(its not far off the truth now, is it?)

Bingo. This is the only advice you need and remember to reverse shit test too! Take long pauses in between your questions, which tells her you're trying to size her up too.

I have the same problem, and I'm with CleanSlate. I'd rather not outright lie, but we seem to try to swing with a grey area.

You don't need to tell true at all. It's not their business. Have some scripted answer just in case and change topic. Lead conversation

Chicks only ask you that when they smell desperation on you.
If you show up late to the date in fresh threads. Or even better cancel last minute...
She would never be induced to ask such an asinine question like that.
Always appear in demand.
Listen to this.
