Given that our Western European leaders refuse to protect us and build walls, well, only solution is for private, hardworking citizens, to take the matter into their own hands, and courageously build walls themselves!

"Protesters in a south-western French town have built a wall around the entrance to a former hotel to prevent it being used as a migrant shelter.

Dozens of residents of Séméac erected a barrier 18m (59ft) long and 1.8m high around the Formule 1 hotel.

They said the local authorities had failed to discuss with town residents the plan to house up to 85 migrants in the building. (note: male African migrants, always)

It's a major development, because for humble French people (from the countryside), to risk prosecution and arrest, by building a wall against the invading migrants, means the native people are desperate and totally fed up. Coupled with the migrants' mafia now using mortars against the French police ( /thread-63946.html ), I think we are entering... interesting territories. In both cases, French media are mum, and socialist authorities have deserted the scene

I was listening to Mark Steyn on borders and perimeters and he clarified how without a border for the country, other borders will be put up within.

So lets see;

- Increased armed police presence and security entry at all public hubs in major towns and cities, including events.

- Well off neighbourhoods investing in private security

- Jewish communities building actual walls topped with razor wire around their places of worship and education

- Private citizens seeing an increase need to wall-off their property

Nothing beats security from the wild and those who would hurt you than a solid, thick wall made out of brick or stone. Our entire civilisation relies on 4 walls for safety and security from the elements topped off with a roof.

If the government called in private labor to save on costs for the Southern wall construction I bet they would get a lot of volunteers. I have limited skills, but I would happily volunteer some time to help out.

Heroic, patriotic president Orban did something similar to build his border fence-wall, he brought in the army, and prisoners. Also, private citizens came to volunteer. I am sure plenty of Americans would volunteer for the Wall, also, as in, millions of them...

As to the height of this French wall, 1 m 80 is quite enough, around this hotel, because it would keep out the native collaborators, the French cooks, French cleaners, and blue-haired middle-age female "social workers". Well yes, you don't imagine the African migrants clean or cook for themselves: they have their native slaves, paid for by the State. These native slaves, being fat and weak, would not be able to climb a wall.

They are actually giving away castles in Italy for free, as long as you can make something out of it after 5 years.

Castles are ridiculously cheap in Europe, but they cost a lot in maintenance and property taxes.

Frankly if we have a strong enough brotherhood on the ground we could easily pile up our resources, buy a castle and fortify ourselves. If war comes a lot of country people will probably hole up in these strongpoints too.

There are now all-white armed communities in South Africa and they are doing fine.

Still - I think that after a while the press and politics would get wind, that some "racist" Whites created an independent private city-state within a state and they would demand entry. But legally they could not do jack-shit, since it would be all on private property and whether it's a big family, a company or any other private group living there - would not make a difference. It could actually look and feel like a city, but be just a private estate.

Sounds good on paper, but I dont know how it would work out in France/Germany/Italy.

Remember, you dont have the right to defend yourselves even when your home is invaded. We have several threads/stories on this already, I dont need to post again here. If they threaten to invade your home with force, you are supposed to call in the law (heh...) If you defend yourself with force, even reasonable, legitimate force, you just give the traitor government an excuse to come and take your house.

Now if you are really actually armed and willing to fight, I guess you can go down that road though I doubt it will go well, like that standoff in Oregon Texas (and this is FAR from being Texas)

There's also a bullshit law in france that says during the winter period, you are not allowed to deny entry to someone seeking shelter. Going Strong can correct me on this.

Remember, in France we have laws protecting home invaders. Once someone enters your house, you have 48h to make them leave. After that, tough luck taking it to court. Alternatively, if someone breaks in your house, change the lock pad, you are legally not allowed to break into your own house. Yeah, go figure.

There's gotta be a way around this because there's plenty of gated community in France, though the legal details are murky to me. If you are not allow to shoot some fuckers trying to invade your home, it's all for nothing because in the end they will try to break in with force.

Alternatively, yes, go full medieval, dig a moat and a drawbridge. Seems to be the only reasonable way, if not a bit labor-intensive.

Need to revamped my castle construction lore! How long, and how many people it would take to dig a moat, fill it with water, and construct a (at least) wooden wall and drawbridge?

Airborn threats, such as drones might be a problem, but lets assume the invaders dont have those high tech.

Are you allowed to plant sharpened stakes, Vietnamese style circa 1100 AD, at the bottom of your moat? That way you just have a dry moat fill with stakes. A lot more intimidating and less costly, more sanitary.

Since such an estate would be effectively owned by a super-high-net-worth individual, the legal issue would be similar as with any property owned by a French billionaire. Try getting into one of their property and set up shop. I am also sure that their guards are armed - if you shoot, then they will kill you and the cops will only come and note the time of death. Many of those guards are ex-cops or ex-soldiers with excellent connections.

So essentially the practical side of such a project begins at 30 mio. $ +. But honestly I don't know if I would be willing to invest in it even as a billionaire, because I know that sooner or later there will be war anyway in France and Germany. So setting up shop there is only of relative value.

Castles are not effective forms of defence any more, certainly not for the money required. In a soft collapse they're too expensive to maintain and during a modern war they would just simply be turned to rubble by mortars and makeshift artillery.

Surviving a modern war or collapse or combination of same, particularly one with roving gangs of "refugee" bandits, will require either a retreat to more mountainous locations or an exceptional district reconnaissance and response system.

Communicate. Move. Shoot. Without one of these things the other two are mostly useless.
