The rally was originally scheduled to be in Charlottesville (where it is), but was moved maybe half a mile away to a small park in a much more isolated area. The marchers sued to have the rally brought back to Charlottesville, with the help of the ACLU.

What does "unite the right" mean though, exactly?

And whoever thought that marching around with those torches and shouting "blood and soil" and other oddities was a good idea is a total idiot that gave the media everything they wanted. I hear this is Richard Spencer's baby, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Unite patriots in all countries to the defense of their countries for sure, but if I had to pick the worst way to handle a right wing rally, this would be it. I fail to see anything that was gained from this. At Berkeley, for example, our side made the left look like the extremist Jacobins that they are. So unless we can find some definitive proof that Antifa started the violence, this didn't serve any useful purpose that I can see.

People can moan and cry about it all they want, but we have to operate by different rules than the left gets to operate in.

When and why did you move to the Charlottesville/Albemarle area?
I accepted a job offer from Albemarle County in February, 2013 and started work on April 1st. Having spent over twenty years in local government management in Virginia, I thought the time was right to move to a large, diverse and vibrant County

At the time of my hire and was serving as the County Administrator for Shenandoah County, Virginia. Previously, I have served as City Manager in Waynesboro, Deputy County Administrator in Spotsylvania County, Assistant to the County Administrator in Southampton County. I also have experience in the private sector. Oh yeah? No you don't!

No, but you don't give them ammunition either. You burn their supplies or anything else that might be of use to them. This was just the opposite.

As an example, last year during the campaign, the term "Alt-Right" was somewhat undefined and nebulous, almost a bit mischievous, describing some kind of trollish rebel culture. When Hillary Clinton railed against the "Alt-Right" and cartoon frogs, it was very funny and wound up helping a great deal to show how ridiculous these uptight leftist dweebs were.

Then came Richard Spencer's stupid event that had the Nazi salutes. Plants or not, it was all the media needed. Trump disavowed, and from there the "Alt-Right" term successfully got co-opted as a rallying cry for the left and a new excuse for the censorship drives we're facing now. The best thing Richard Spencer ever did was save his idiocy for after the election.

And now here we are again. This was a gift for their propaganda efforts and it is going to help them more than us in the future. Thanks a lot to whatever idiots were behind this event.

The twitter video in the embedded tweet that roosh posted with the drone footage is partially set to an adolf hitler speech. There is only one way to interpret that.
