Something that I have noticed is that some girls that I decide not to pursue, for various reasons, suddenly show a lot of interest and desperation. For example, I dont try and sleep with women that I work with so I friend zone them. I am a very talkative person and I find that most of the girls gravitate towards me and use me as a means of entertainment. Im fine with it because it passes the time and I like talking.

Because these girls consider us to be friends we trade favors and help each other out occasionally. Sometimes these girls ask for favors but never return them and it annoys me. When I am annoyed I dont like talking and I just ignore people because I dont like getting emotional. These girls will then act overly friendly and do almost anything to get me talking to them again. They ask me to come over to hang out, try and make me touch them, show me sexy pictures ect.

This only happens with girls I next and stop talking to but mostly girls I next because I work with them. Why do they do this? Is it just their way of getting attention? Is there some way I could use this to my advantage with girls I am actually pursuing?

Women want what they can't have and cute gals believe every guy wants to sleep with them. They'll throw puppy dog eyes at you to try and rope you in and activate your little lizard brain to do her bidding for her.

Yes it's for attention. And because it's work related it's out of sheer laziness also. If they don't return favors at the workplace call them out on that garbage. If they know you'll stand up to them they won't be so keen on using you for favors in the future. Let them know where you stand instead of going passive and just ignoring them. You don't got to be a dick about it, mess around with them like they're little kids but get your point across. Keep in mind these are also your coworkers who could also ruin your future with one emotionally charged spiteful bogus claim.

But this is like game 101. Someone remarked recently in another thread , which I thought was a good line, "most guys today think the best way to get pussy is to be a pussy". Hilarious. If you got a room full of chodes slobbering over a girl, meanwhile the cad over on the other side has a whatever vibe, that's the sort of thing that will pique a chick's curioisity and make you stand out from the pack.

Attention is like federal reserve notes. The less you give the more it's more worth. The more you give the less it's worth. Them broads want that type currency more than actual dollar bills. And if you don't give it, she'll chase you for it like you're a food truck driving through Venezuela.

Guess it's about finding the balance in terms of ignoring/showing interest

I have a few friends who think they're James Bond but who never get laid, and they never show girls any interest as they (kind of correctly) think that the more you ignore them, the more they chase, but what happens is that they are never even on the girls radar, lol. Or the girl just thinks he's uninterested and maybe boring/scared or whatever

So I guess you still need to show SOME attention.

Bit like the guys who go too a bar and just nurse their beer to their chest all night and don't talk to the girls. They probably think ''I'm not giving them girls my attention, so now they're gonna really want it!!''

What women crave most is attention and validation.

If you give it too freely, then you spoil them.

You have to let them chase you a little, push pull. This is why teasing is effective. Its the push that makes them chase you a bit.

You need to have some give and take in your interactions and not make it all or nothing.

I dont passively take it when they wrong me, I just stop talking to them and when they ask I say that I feel what they did was wrong and I dont want to argue about it. They never say sorry but they act super nice and do things for me and then some to try and get me talking to them again.

Im not thinking about dating women I worked with it was just the best example of girls I next acting needy because thats where it happens the most.

There's a case to be made that the drive for male attention is evolutionary. Basic Old Brain/New Brain conflict.

In the world our brains developed in, what happens to a woman and her children if she can't get male attention when her mate is killed hunting or in battle?

She'll likely need to bend over for the man who killed her husband, and do it with enthusiasm. If she's not desirable enough, she has a lifetime of hunger ahead of her and will likely bury her children. That's why custom in some traditional societies dictated that a man take over the wives and children of his slain brother.

Many women feel a deep and primal terror when men ignore them because there's a subconscious message that their actual lives are in danger. You get married women soothing their neuroses about their dwindling options by posting bikini pics on Instagram and finding a sense of peace as the 'likes' roll in from beta orbiters confirming that she can easily find a free dinner somewhere. If she realizes she's not valued, all kinds of crazy erupts as she escalates until she's on a plastic surgeon's table getting fake tits and then having a few drinks at the company holiday party and asking her boss if they're big enough.

She's doing it because ignoring her turns you into a Rubik's Cube that she has to solve to feel secure. If she sees enough value in your attention, she'll do some pretty deranged shit to get it if you let her.

Not that simple folks.

If you're still trying to get with a girl, your tonality is that of need/want/trying. Once you next her, your tonality becomes one of certainty.

The last part is key. You can NOT communicate in any, way, shape or form (ranging from vocal pitch to word choice) that you aren't confident in the words coming out of your mouth, and I'd be willing to bet cash that when you talk with a girl pre-nexting them you don't sound sure in your words.

To them you are a scarce commodity which makes them want you more, also they are noticing other women at the job are attracted to you which raises your value, to apply this with girls you are pursing you need to act the same way, the difference is you want something out of it but you have to not care if you don't get it. Not "pretend to not care" but actually not care. But in this situation you have to build the attraction with the person first, with people you work with your around them all the time so there is plenty of time for the attraction to build and I presume you are just being "you" at your job.

Also you said you guys exchange favors, why? Don't do shit for them, if they all like you and you're not even getting pussy from them make them do favors for you, only people you need to do favors for is your boss and your wife

You can bring them along to meet with some other girl(s) you are interested in. They can raise your value. But be careful, you don't piss your co-workers off in the process.
