Buenos Aires apartment logistics
I'm heading to Buenos Aires early December and planning to stay there for 3 months.
I went through a lot of threads about BA, some guys recommend Palermo Soho, the others Recoleta. I also heard good things about Puerto Madero.

My priority is to have apartment close to nice cafes, breakfast spots, restaurants and the gym. Also some malls/parks or other daygame spots would be good to have nearby.

Is Palermo Soho really that noisy? I can see on googlemaps it looks quite nice and laid back with a lot of cafes around. I know it is also the center of the nightlife action...so I guess it might get pretty rough during night, but I live for the action anyways Banana

How about Recoleta and Puerto Madero? Any good daygame spots there? I dont care to be so close to nightlife action, as long as it is 5-10mins cab drive it is ok.

Which location do you guys prefer? Lets say that the budget is unlimited.

I really liked Palermo. There is a good gym there, I think I paid $40 for a month. http://www.alwaysgym.com.ar

Plenty of great steak houses near there for $10 for a huge steak and grilled vegetables. Cafes everywhere.

RE: Buenos Aires apartment logistics
Why not post this on a recent BA data sheet rather than start an entirely new thread? Pet peeve, but adds value to those who contribute and keeps the info in one place.

Anyway, nothing has really changed in the data from those the last few years. I recently lived in Palermo Hollywood. For day game it's probably a bit sparse but decent enough. For nightlife it was walk-able from Kika and Rosebar which I liked. Everywhere in BA is close to cafe's, gyms, restaurants, etc... it's like Madrid in that aspect. I wouldn't say it gets rough at night, although you have to be careful taking cash out of the ATMs, there are only a few and it is a hot spot for petty robbery. I lived at Fitz Roy and Guatemala and had no issues walking home at night.. it was also quiet in the evenings in that particular area in regards to noise. I went to Omnia Fitness Center.. can't recall the cost, but great gym with some good talent to enjoy during your workouts. Can't recall the cost though.

As long as budget is unlimited, no reason not to be in the area of town closest the nightlife... you can always get public transport or a bike to good day game spots and collect numbers/igs, but nighttime is where logistics really matter. There are a ton of good date spots in Hollywood and Viejo and all the girls who live far away won't have much trouble getting there.

Hhha! Good luck with that... Breakfast doesn't seem to be a thing in BA. Everyone eats dinner at 10pm and sleeps till 10am, it seems. I lost about 8 lbs in a couple weeks trying to eat enough at restaurants twice/day.

Palermo or Recoleta are the best areas in general with lots of things to do and places to go. Belgrano is also nice -- it's more of a mix of apartments and upscale houses (lots of embassies of smaller countries here).

If you're looking to meet tourists, San Telmo is a good spot.. it's near Puerto Madero, which is probably what people meant when they mentioned it... AFAIK, Puerto Madero is not a night spot.

For day game, anywhere along Avenida Santa Fe (it's a looooonnggg street).

Wat? A nice cortado con medialunas is THE classic breakfast down here.

Not much.
I always travel to South America during European winter time. Never been to Argentina tho.
I think I found the place to stay in called Live Hotel Apartments, location seems to be perfect and apartments pretty nice.
A lot of restaurants and cafes around, gym and nightlife action very close as well.
CAnt wait to dayhunt in BA and see if it is really that hard Smile
I checked out some pics from nightlife from places like Rosebar etc and it strucked me that girls dont dress up too slutty....No me likey
I had some success in Mexico with really cute Argy girls, but everyone says that it is way easier to bang Argy outside of her country.
I feel like Im gonna love the city itself, but we will see how it goes with chicas...
Thanks for help guys

Ummm, near Ministro Carranza subway station. No idea about the hotel, but you are close to Palermo nightlife zone, so you will be ok. Be careful though, dont be the tipical gringo tourist.

I lived in a shared apartment around Barrio Alto, just next to Santa Fe st and the subway santa fe. In my opinion it's the perfect spot to be, just in between Palermo and recoleta, while getting better rates on apartments and restaurants.

not sketchy, but in Bs As you must always have a healthy ammount of paranoia, tge motochorros (thieves in motorcycles) like to target tourists.

Hah my first day in BA today and I'm extremely excited...The talent is insane, it is like Colombia on roids.
Also I crushed it today, made 2 approaches on the street and got one number and layed another one after ~25mins...massive nympho she couldn't speak English and I'm very bad in Spanish.
So far so good I'm overwhelmed by the talent here and my first kinda contradicts the theory that the games are tough here??

2 for 2? Number and a lay in 2 approaches? In BA? Nice! Care to share more about how that happened? Day-game?

Chances are it happened in a private apartment on Corrientes avenue, with a "nymphomaniac" Paraguaya who asked for one thousand pesos, and a deal was agreed for 700 pesos and half-an-hour of love with la cola included. It's not Borges stuff, but it does read like a typical, late Garcia Marquez novel...

I was there about a month ago. Have never had so many people tell me to watch my phone/wallet. Seriously, like 2-3 a day. The paranoia is out of control in Buenos Aires, I walked around by myself the entire time and nothing happened.

RE: Buenos Aires apartment logistics
I approached first girl on the Main Street next to alto Palermo shopping mall and got her number she was very cute blondie 7/10.

Then I was walking home and I saw a sexy girl in leggings and high heels, her body was 8/10 but pretty busto 5/10 face so I give her a 6, I didn't even know where to go to buy some booze since it was my first day in BA but I noticed a store so we went I bought some wine and we went to my apt. Took me around 25mins from approach to lay. It was around 6pm and she was after work.
She left st around 10pm and I went out but no luck during the night.

Ye only 2 approaches yesterday during daytime.

Alto Palermo shopping is gold. So much talent there... today we were looking to get SIM cards with my buddy who arrived today and we approached 2 girls who happened to be Venezuelans, both solid 7s. We are meeting them tonight and it should be ez layups.

This city seems like a paradise so far.

She was after work why would she lie? She works in a cafe as a chief, I got her fb and she is pretty crazy actually I might have to block her.

Chief in a cafe, and leaving her work at 6 PM? She should be starting her work at 6 PM, not finishing it.

Also, I have never seen a female chef at a cafe or restaurant going to, or coming from, her work in "sexy leggins and high heels". Restaurant work is hard on the feet, and sexy leggings do not protect from hot, burning oil or water projections.

"why would she lie?": yes indeed, why would a woman ever lie? Why would an unknown woman you picked up in sexy leggings and high heels on the street, and then without speaking Spanish or English, took right away up to your apartment for instant sex, lie about her lifestyle?

At first i thought bullshit, then i thought that Even if i found buenos aires very hard There where ocassions when i got laid without games by just finding the right girl at The right time, looking in retrospective about my time There, i don't think portenas are that hard, they are just used (and annoyed) to have guys approaching them all the time. So unlike most places cold approaching doesnt show value. Still if a guy who shows a lot of value by money, looks or whatever reason he can still transcend this. The same guy can also transcend paisa flakiness without issues.
Who knows maybe he has Chad thundercock looks or it Was an statisical anomality.

Haha ye bro she also has a fake fb account which she created just to fuck me. Propably works for the FBI

It happened to me many times in Colombia that I would just take girls to the bar or just straight home right from the street cold approach. My strategy is to always try to ask them out for coffee (if it is before 3-4pm) which then turns into drinks or drinks just right away.

The talent is completely insane here. No luck yesterday but I was walking around shaking my head with disbelief feeling like a kid in a toy store.
