Forum conversation has been fairly heavy lately, so here's a funny story we can all laugh at:

“After it made the circles at the bottom, I knew what it was and started laughing,” Ramone Duran told The Spokesman-Review. “It was pretty funny to see that. You don’t expect to see something like that.”

However, other people didn’t think the skydrawing was amusing, with several complaints about the inappropriate nature of the symbol

Navy officials released a statement to KREM stating: “The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable.”

The FAA told KREM that since the act didn’t pose a safety risk to residents, they will not be investigating and that they “cannot police morality.”

I was talking to my buddy who flies Air Force drones and they've been told to "cut down on the sky dicks" because they do it all the time. Imagine the Taliban soldier walking out of his cave in the morning for a smoke and seeing multiple cocks in the sky over his homeland. Well played.

In Afghanistan we used to do a bunch of pranks for a laugh. We would draw dicks in the dust on each other's vehicles. My crew drove around on convoys with a bright white Honk if You're Horny bumper sticker on the front of the carrier until someone in headquarters got their underoos in a bunch over it. We'd drive by an American or British or Australian army convoy going the other way and they'd honk at us loudly and furiously. Really lightened the mood.

And we'd do some real dick moves sometimes too. One of our guys would throw something like a can of spam or a slim jim into a crowd of Afghan kids and watch them fight over pork. Mean as that is, I don't feel bad for it. Some of those kids probably grew up to become Rapefugees in Europe. Fuck em

That's one of the big problems with the military nowadays. Men are put in high stress situations where the only relief is humor, and now that women and gays are being introduced, it's no longer allowed. How the fuck are these men going to blow off steam?

I dealt with crabby women time and time again during my Navy years.

The problem you mentioned is very real. The Marines I worked with could go kill Taliban for three days straight, with everybody shooting at them. They could then draw a dick on their buddy's helmet, listen to some "Let the bodies hit the floor" or " I want to spit beechnut in that dudes eye" ,make some your mama jokes, and get up and do it again.

The women and homos working in medical for example, had to have crying circles, meetings in the conference room, group therapy and meditation sessions over seeing what happened to the men doing the actual fighting.

Then these people turn around and get mad over the dick drawing that apparently was more therapeutic than anything they were doing.

I've just remembered one of the foulest, but funniest pranks that only a Canadian infantry soldier could come up with.

There used to be this one joke called a "Lemon Party." You'd ask someone to look at the orders you had written up, or to look at your map to get a second opinion or a honest critique. You'd have it on a clipboard. Then you'd tell your victim to look at the second page and they'd flip the page.... to find some really obscene gay porn. And usually it had to be fat old dudes buttfucking for it to be "true" Lemon Party material.

That would probably get someone dishonourably discharged these days. But back about ten years ago a friend of mine Lemon Partied the then head General of the Canadian Armed Forces and his Sergeant Major in Afghanistan. The General was also in the middle of being interviewed by a Canadian comedian named Rick Mercer-- who is gay.

My friend comes up to them and is like "Hey sir, can you sign my map? Thanks, now can you sign the reverse side too?

Flip the page and.... there's a picture of old gay dudes having an orgy.

The General lost his shit laughing. Was damn near crying he found it so hilarious. The gay comedian chuckled, and probably wished it was younger dudes in the picture instead. The Sergeant Major was purple in the face with rage. Livid pissed. The only thing saving my friend from serious trouble was the General thinking it was a great prank.

Don't ask me how dudes found their visual material for a Lemon Party. I never asked so I can't tell.

Yep, goes to show how much that the Navy has become the fag force to be embarrassed by this. The spokesman could have just said that he was telling his buddy on the ground what he wanted for lunch, but no, they hung them out to dry.
