I remember the first video I ever saw her in was a sort of faux "random sex in the bar bathroom" video POV style. Very pretty girl with a knockout body. She's about a 10 for me looks-wise. The @EvilAngelVideo account shared, "@AugustAmesxxx was an extended member of the Evil Angel family and she will be sorely missed. You couldn't find a kinder person in our business. This is a terrible tragedy and will stay with our team forever."

Photographer Holly Randall tweeted, "I fucking loved this girl so much. @AugustAmesxxx I am so sorry that I didn’t know it was this bad.... we are all so broken hearted, you were truly loved by so many. I just can’t believe it. RIP."

Performer Aidra Fox, via her @NeonLolita Twitter account, said, "I just am in shock.... @AugustAmesxxx you were such a beautiful light in this industry. Thank you for your impact in this world. You’re going to be so missed."

This week Ames was at the center of controversy within the industry stemming from a tweet she sent out on Dec. 3, saying she was cancelling her booking the following day because her scene partner had previously performed in gay scenes.
