So there is this girl I banged a while ago that I contacted again last week. Basically I had banged her about 3 times before going cold on her. She had written me one last angry message that I never replied to.

To my surprise, she replied in a friendly way to to my message last week so I suggested a date. She agreed to meet but wanted to make it clear that we are meeting just for some drinks and as "friends". I ignored this little detail and still went for it.

On the date, she was very sexy dressed and actually wore some leather pants that I had previously complimented her about. I thought it was a good sign. Things went well at the beginning, I was holding her hands etc., until I tried to kiss her. She she went mad at me because of my attitude before. I somehow managed to stay cool and even made it to her place for another glass of wine. I tried to escalate there again but it didn't go no where. She wouldn't let me do anything. I got pissed and went cold on her then decided to leave. Then, she basically told me that she doesn't like how I don't respect her will: She made it clear that we are meeting as friends but I still ignored that and went for more...
Now during the date I had mentioned that I wanted her to come over for dinner some time. She had agreed to it but we didn't confirm it again. Do you guys thing I should make another try at her or just forget about it and move on?
I don't have that much of a choice days with only one backup plan. I find it very helpful for confidence in game when I have many things going on...

You played it well except for giving up and leaving

Keep plugging away, but follow the 2/3 rule. You can text her twice for every three text she sent you. Definitely don’t text more than she does, and don’t even make it even. You need to hold something back to keep her interested.

I understand how you thought the bang was on, I would have too, and it usually is in that scenario.

It's a 50/50 with this one, if she will weaken and give you the bang, or if she it out for revenge....

I am leaning towards her plan is to torture you a bit for your crimes of the past...

Be careful with this one, go a bit cold, pull back, minimal contact and see of she chases you.

If she does, only agree to the next date if she agrees that sex will be happening.

Try sexualising the conversation. If she gives you the "just friends" go silent for a week.

There is an investing idea I often practice. Cut your losses at 10% and take profit at 30%.

As I get older, I am finding out how important my time is. I'd rather take a short loss and try my investment on a new opportunity.

I might have given up too early that night but she was just getting too cheeky with me... As I said the way she dressed and how things were going on at the beginning confused me..
Anyway, I decided to move on. As questor70 hinted, her attitude was not the best to start with and I already invested too much by allocating my whole Saturday night for her which turned out to be a huge waste of time.

I would have to agree. At this point, you are better off investing time with a new conquest.

This is a good way to look at things.

The same thing applies to escalating. Be congruent and measured, but always be escalating. She will tell you to stop. If she doesn't stop you, you haven't pushed far enough.

Hotels and apartment complexes for the same reason like to be 90% occupied. If they are higher than that, then they are not charging high enough prices and raise them. The cost is some percentage of vacancy, but the benefit is higher returns on the portion that is rented. So don't look at the vacant unit and lament that its vacant, know that you had good success with the other 90%.

Yeah don't try to "figure out" things like this. Asking yourself "well why would she dress up if she didn't want to rekindle things?" and trying to fit it all into some unknown strategy is a fool's errand. She may have been out for revenge, or she might have thought back to the good times when she was picking out her clothes and thought she should wear a sexy outfit, then when things actually got hot her feelings changed and she refused your advances. Don't do what I've done and tried to counter-rationalize it, it's a huge waste of time.
