Someone is being racist towards you. It’s not even about you. It’s about their upbringing and what happened to them and how it lead them to this point. You know, most bullies bully. Just happen. Can you explain the bolded, more cogently because to be frank it makes no sense to me, Jay isn't a civil rights activist and there's no affirmative action in record industry. If he couldn't sell Def Jam would've dropped him. It just reeks of butthurt/vitriol.

Re: the vignette OP referenced. I came to same conclusion years ago and it's reminiscent of Law 39 from 48 Laws of Power (Stir up water to catch fish). Probably watch the whole thing later.

Without additional explanation or examples it hard to take your assertion that Jay-Z is a benefit of racism seriously. I liked some of Jay-Z's <2003 work but never considered him to be one of let alone the GOAT. Nas reminded him of that with Stillmatic but even before that I thought "Jay-Z has some good songs and a few really good songs, and that really catchy one with Mariah Carey that even teenage girls love." ElJefe1, you raise a good point. Lenny is kind of involved with a lot of these threads, I'll give you that. Could be a couple of reasons. Could be he's a white nationalist racist trying to bring about mayhem and chaos through the conduit of the RooshV forum (plausible in your eyes?), or it could be he has a vested interest in this argument, and 'gives a shit', has 'skin in the game', and just wants to have a banter about stuff that is dear and personal to him. Oh, and has bollocks big enough to even begin to venture in to this arena, apart from the intelligence to hold a rational, logical debate. I don't think he's a white nationalist, let's just say that.

Maybe he doesn't like Hip Hop. Perhaps he doesn't like Reggae. Doesn't make him a 'racist'. He might have deep personally held convictions as to why he finds these types of music 'degenerate' (I am musing here, perhaps he dances naked around the barbie listening to Black Uhuru, for all I know ;-)).

I've seen nothing at all in any single one of Lenny's posts on the subject, that suggests to me he is a hater of black people, or people with a different coloured skin. Of course, he might by lying, he might not have a Latina wife and/or kids. He might be one of those super-intelligent CIA plants that disrupt forums. But fuck me, what game if so! I tend to err on the side of mediocrity and just believe he's a fair dinkum bloke that lives somewhere not quite in the outback, that somehow managed to get an internet connection. How do I know someone like Lenny so well? Well, I like to think of myself as a bit of a 'Race Warrior' too. It's a dirty job but someone's got to do it.

I'm not sure if you are aware, and maybe I am wrong on the point, but I don't think you will find another forum on the entire internet that can broach the subject of race relations in such a decent and valid manner. I have not been able to find one anyway. And this is a pet subject of mine. I've gone pretty easy on it here, as this forum is rightly heavily moderated on such matters. Roosh does a great job of nipping things in the bud from new 'troll' accounts, whilst simultaneously allowing quite rigorous debate between high-post, high-rep members. Kudos.

Look, I don't know Lenny. We've never chatted via PM, we've had a few exchanges through forum posts. I don't pretend to know the bloke, and I don't know you either. All I'm trying to convey is the fact that just because someone posts a lot in 'race-related' threads, well, it might be for more higher purposes, as compared to nefarious intent. For those of you he insulted, I ask humbly that you dig deep, and look at the bigger picture. What he has shared, at great personal cost to himself, is invaluable for many many damaged men. As for Jay-Z - good luck to him. Dude is obviously well astute. He's got game. I don't particularly like the brand of Hip Hop he is pushing. I quite dislike it, in fact. But the world has moved on. Raging against it is fine. But it probably does little for one's personal development.

I liked the little speech he gave - there was wisdom in there. Not the wisdom of a nasty, I'm harder than you, type of thug. The wisdom of one that has been given the grace of time and perspective, not to mention comfort and wealth, to propound his deeper viewpoint. I can't argue with it. People would do well to heed it.
