Yesterday I'd been walking around a lot and talking to girls, and when I got home after a while I felt really positive/filled with love/giggly for a couple hours(forgive me if this sounds really kooky). It's a similar feeling I get as when I have about 1-2 wines or have some weed.

It's great to know that I can achieve this state without bothering to use alcohol/drugs. It's obviously less healthy to use them, but also if I do happen to need to be alcohol/drugfree for work or whatever it's freeing to know I'm not reliant on them. It's also relatively expensive here and I don't like the idea of being a druggie.

The question is I'm not sure how to reliably put myself into this state. Although after meditating and "letting go", I don't even care too much that I can't control it that much- as long as it happens every so often, like once or twice a month, then I will cherish and appreciate the giggly spell when it happens. It did happen after I'd done a round of approaches and felt accomplished, however I've done that many times and most of the time I don't feel that way afterward. I believe I've also had similar giggly spells in the past(sober), but they weren't as intense and I wasn't paying attention to what the circumstances were around them.

Roosh had talked about how being around women makes men more feminine, and perhaps this is it, that I have less emotional stability the more I talk to girls. Maybe that and "runner's high" from walking around all the time. I would ideally try to encourage this state of mind as much as possible.

Also I wonder if I'm the only one/minority who experiences these giggly spells. It's pretty great and damn enjoyable that I'm not sure why no one else seems to be talking about them or trying to bring them about. My friends don't seem to have experienced this.

I'm on a similar mission trying to figure out how to have better control over my mindset or mood. One example I like to give is this. Think about that feeling you have walking out of work or driving home on a Friday afternoon. Great feeling, got a bounce in your step, etc. In reality Friday is no different than Monday, its all in our minds why we have that feeling. The challenge is how do we get control over our minds to always feel that way

Mood/state is very important.

There are studies that show that if you adopt the body language and facial expressions of a mood, it will largely actually change your mood. For example, if you are sad and force a smile and positive energy/body language, it will favorably increase your mood. It takes practice. Its not immediate, it takes 5-10 minuts. Its also not 100%, you can't just fake your way to happiness. But you can improve your mood/state without taking any chemicals.

Go to a boxing club/MMA gym and spar. The mental clarity that gives you is the best high you'll ever experience.

Full contact sparring. Aside from the possible blows to the head, you'll be in an elevated and energized state that will take some time to wear off and the experience will make you a more all-round high energy person.

Yup, it happens to me too. I think this is a real thing. I used to have near alcoholic tendencies (for 15 years!) and now I haven't been drinking for close to a couple months. Been feeling a lot more mental clarity & better visions for the future. Positive self-fulfilling prophecies.

I work out too. My good day of working out consists of lifting various weights, knocking out close to 50 situps, run 6 miles on the treadmill (with short water breaks), repeat the lifts & situps, then done. Takes 1.5 hours lol. I don't do it every day (aiming for every 2-3 days), but it is making me feel like a new man again. If I'm in a serious time crunch I just reduce the # of miles ran. I used to be a cross country runner in high school & I'd always be in awe of how the top runners could run so damn fast. Forget all of the accolades & competitions. The question is can you maintain healthy exercise routines well after the youth and school days have subsided.

Kava tea. It gives you the same feelings as getting drunk, but no hangover and even better the cops can't ding you for having alcohol in your system!

This is very true. For anyone reading this who's interested, put a pencil between your teeth for about 2-3 minutes. It forces a smile and you'll find it improves your mood

Because it makes people think they are less of a man if they feel emotional. That prevents people online from sharing how they really feel but I assure you that most of us feel love, passion, and desire on a constant basis though we learn not to let those emotions control our lives, some take a more scientific approach breaking this down the oxytocin/dopamine release and dopaminergic modulation of synaptic transmission in the cortex but that's overkill, just look at it from a behavioral psychology point of view:

You have a choice to develop your life, mindset and beliefs around anything you want. If you develop these things around love, desire, lust, passion, etc, but realize that they are temporary feelings, you will be able to live in the present and enjoy a much more fulfilling life than those around you who can't see life in a such a way, who see themselves as a victim of circumstances.

It's like this, no one knows why we are here, no one knows what is real love, No one knows if there is really a god, or if we have meaning in this life, but you're given a choice to be born with a blank canvas in front of you and you can design that canvas anyway you want, it's best to paint your own picture instead of listening to others (including myself) tell you what to paint. And also know that the happiness and both sadness, ups and downs, make you human and able to feel emotion, you can't have one without the other, if you're happy all the time and don't know why, then probably means no one's home. Same goes for being sad and angry all the time, if you feel that, you've lost control of yourself and become a slave.

It's hard to see at the moment, but if you were allowed to dream any dream that you wanted, you'd start off dreaming about fucking a hot woman on the beach, then maybe you'd be with five women at the same time on the beach, then you'd dream about living in a cabin with someone you love, but eventually, you'd get bored and you'd want to mix it up a bit, and not know what you are going to dream, You'd want to be supirised. And after a while, you'd end up wanting to be where you are right now, sitting in front of computer screen with nothing more than choice - randomness in the future, which makes you human and allows you to live in the present and feel love.

So go be "giggly" and fuck some hot women and take bubble baths. Enjoy life. And to answer your question: How do you stimulate this without drugs and booze? You simply develop a life around happiness, friends, love, and making great memories and toss the other stuff that makes you a slave (over-analyzing, bitching about nonsense, politics, television, commercials, materialism, anger, jealousy) out the window, someone else will surely come along and wrap those chains around himself. I see it every day.

Dude bubble baths are the shit.

Nothing makes you feel better or fixes soreness better after a hard-ass workout than a bubble bath filled with epsom salts.

As others have said, once you begin to establish a great life then you will feel great. I stopped drinking four months ago (on the 1yr challenge) and after a rough start, I'm feeling the best I've felt in years.

I've started a number of hobbies and evening courses in areas that I want to advance in. Tai chi, fine art, comic book creation. I also occasionally go to a sort of meditation group, as well as currently see a counsellor each week.

Doing all these things has made me feel great. I've stopped thinking and being in the 'wishful but stuck' position and have just gone for all the things I'm interested in wholeheartedly. I find the social contact with new people in the various groups is amazing, and I feel so invigorated as a result.

I've felt that natural high since getting my shit together. I'm not gloating, there is still a lot of work to do yet. But, I'm making a lot of progress and taking action, getting involved in some new things is seriously the way forward.

The idea that for most people drinking is their way to have fun, I feel sorry for them. There is so much more out there.
