Best travel destinations for teens
This summer I will have a good couple of months free from university. In that time I would like to travel somewhere (most likely solo) where I can enjoy myself with decent girls, good nightlife and a vibe where it is easy to meet people, in specific girls who are the same age as me so 18-20.

E.g. in Madrid I noticed there were many girls aged 18 in clubs and pretty much everywhere so I liked that. What are some of the other places which stood out by having a large teen population? I don't want to go to a place where i'll be meeting older people constantly. Bonus if it's a Spanish speaking country and by the water.

Based on the criteria you list, and assuming you're a relatively inexperienced traveler, you should go to one of the traditional party-themed destinations.

Here's a non-comprehensive list for summer:
Top choices - Ibiza, Mykonos, Ios, Corfu, Ultra Europe (in Split), any other EU music festival such as Tomorrowland.
If you have some extra $ in the bank - Cannes, St Tropez, Monaco (more of an older crowd), or Barcelona.
If you're willing to go a little more exotic, take a look at the Full Moon Party in Thailand, or do a jungle excursion trip in Costa Rica or somewhere in Central America (will be a little less partying, but still a great time and more adventurous).

I will say that if you are 18-22 and want to have a great time partying, I would go to one of the top choices. Those places are catered specifically to people your age, and youth runs out quicker than you think. It is generally much more difficult for a 30 year old guy to have fun in Ios than a 20 year old. And since you'd be going solo, if you stay in a hostel, it is really easy to link up with a group that way.

RE: Best travel destinations for teens
Nice recommendations, however I am looking for more of an authentic experience as I have travelled to places like Barcelona but I have never left Europe except for Egypt. I am relatively street smart so I feel like I want to go to somewhere wilder. This got me thinking Mexico City as I have a friend there who could accomodate me for free but at the same time RVF members say Colombia/Brazil are a better option as Mexicanas lack talent. Another option is Indonesia as I have a relative there, then I could take a plane to Phillipines for example. I also mean local teen girls more so than backpackers.
Edit: Everyone I know goes to Greece, Croatia but I want somewhere different, preferably in Latam/SEA but with a high young population where the average english 19 year old doesn't really go, what other places would you guys recommend? (I am also taking Spanish classes)

Never heard of it until now, it looks decent but a bit more 'upscale', Montañita looks more like a place i'll be into

I would put Ibiza and Tomorrowland in the "some extra $" area Big Grin and would probably remove Barcelona from there, it is affordable

Mancorá looks "upscale?" It's a tiny little fishing/surfing village. Although, I agree that Montañita sounds great. I read that whole book of a data sheet and it sounded cool as shit. Did you read the posts in that thread, though? You're gonna have to go during a South American vacation time to get the full experience. Semana Santa is coming up. I'm thinking about giving it a shot. I think it'd be great.

I can't go as early as Semana Santa, only July, August and September, so at that time like you say there may not be too many tourists from places like Argentina. I am reading now that in Colombia and Ecuador their uni students have summer break in july and august so the question is, where do they go?

If you're considering SEA, you would be able to bang 20-24 year olds too. Asians aren't too good at reading westerners' age. Even if you have a baby face, you can pass off any age you want.

The 18 year olds in Asia CAN but may not always be more conservative as well so thats an important thing to note.

The Greek islands - ie Ios and Mykonos fit your description a Contiki tour would be great for you probably. If you want to get a bit more exotic, maybe try some of the beaches in EE, such as Sunny Beach in Bulgaria, Parnu in Estonia, or Vama Veche in Romania. The crowds should be relatively young and they are all good party towns in the summer with decent festivals.

Aside from that- San Juan del Sur in Nicaragua, Montanita in Ecuador, Lagos in Portugal..

Very true, I've faked my age to girls a few times and it isn't an issue, not just asians.

These are all good ideas, is there an equivalent of Montanita in Mexico? My Mexican friend is telling me to go Mazatlan but obviously it's a whole different place, i've read some datasheet's on it as well as Acapulco.

I just checked out what a Contiki tour is. Looks like what female students go to with plenty of daddy's money, it actually looks really good but I just don't see how the prices are justifiable. Good to know theres something like that though.

If you’re looking for a package tour and like young, drunk Canadian/US sluts then I can recommend https://www.freeandeasytraveler.com

A few of my buddies went on their trips and while I was in Thailand a few years back I ran into a group of twenty young travelers and the ratio was 17 girls and 3 guys.

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

It sounds like you have Mexico on your mind. I wrote a post recently on a thread about Mexico that someone made to summarize the major cities.

Honestly you can find 18-20 year olds anywhere. Stay in hostels and they'll be there.

There are also clubs in every city that seem to attract a younger crowd. For example in Monterrey Mexico, "The City" is the one that attracts an 18 - 23 crowd.

In the end I chose Mexico city, along with a potential trip to Mazatlan. I will be stopping first in NY, Boston and New Hampshire USA. This summer will be insane I can feel it, I've never been to the Americas so I will experience a whole new world

Malta and especially Paceville are one of the best place in Europe for under 25, young girls from all over Europe go there to have fun and the place is full of summer English schools (that are full of teenagers).
