I have to say I found the claim of babies being instinctual equalists rather amusing given that babies scream when held by people who don't look like their parents, let alone the issue of babies not having the cognitive ability to hold an ideological position. Their twitter is getting trolled while either their social media people or poorly coded machine intelligences (I can't quite tell) attempt desperately to respond to everything with sound bytes about diversity:

In a way this ad is truthful. Babies can't see the world for its nuance and complications just like liberals only see the world in terms of ideology and denial of reality. Look at the ad's message - Don't be racist, buy a cell phone, be a baby. I attended a SuperBowl party that was semi-"diverse" and when that ad came on EVERYBODY in the room, male or female, white or Hispanic said, "wtf is this brainwashing crap??"

I was thinking of taking notes on how many ads that were all about pandering to SJW diversity kumbaya instead of just selling a damn product there were. This was just the most blatant.

I think the least triggering ad was the one for WIX but even that one featured two hipsters so its demographic targetting was very blatant as well.

Personally I found the MLK speeck played on top of the truck commercial more obnoxious. Lots of commercials tried to be inspirational but just came off as douchey this year.

As long as people remember the ad and talk about it, even if the ad does nothing to directly sell the product, then madison avenue treats it as a success. As long as people aren't accusing it of being racist/sexist, of course, so loading it up with SJW goodness and leaving people scratching their heads as to what the actual sales pitch is has a certain amount of warped logic.

I know this is my first post here, but let me just give my two cents with all due respect to Atlanta, who is a somewhat veteran of the RVF. I mean no disrespect.

That's nice Atlanta. Unfortunately, the Han Chinese will never see it that way. The Arabs will never see it that way. The Shiite will never see it that way. The Sunni will never see it that way. The list goes on and on.

I'm glad you and many others, on the individual level, can see past race. That's nice. But on the larger level, tribalism will continue to not only exist but be the law of the land, especially when (even a couple hundred years from now) shit hits the fan.

Another thing Atlanta, you always talk about how much you love white woman. You actually don't realize how luck you have it Atlanta, because you can breed with a white woman and your babies will become part of your tribe. Yes, race matters Atlanta. More so on the macro societal level instead of the individual micro level, but it matters. Furthermore, if you want your grand kids to have the pleasure of being with a beautiful white women that you love so much with their red or blonde hair and their blue eyes, than you better realize that this "race shit" does indeed matter because we are going to be a rare species 100 years from now.

I have a half-black Viking friend who I would die for without a second thought, but this is beyond the simple dynamic. (Also I am an occasional race-mixer myself - heh.)

The race part will crop up again and again, because it's beyond just simple letting go of discrimination, relaxing on some mixed couples and giving equality of opportunity for all.
