RE: Solo in Las Vegas
Gentlemen,

Just spent 4 nights in Vegas at the Wynn. Was there on business, however, I have some insight that ironically follows suit with the other comments. The Wynn is pure class, although it seems the majority of model broads were from the Cosmopolitan. From what I saw the Cosmo seems like the hottest place in Vegas AT THE MOMENT. I spent time at XS and Surrender at the Encore and a little time at SkyBar and Moon at the Palms. I really disliked the Palms, although I did come across a cute little ebony exotic dancer at Moon.

Moon was the hot spot on the night I went (Tuesday). It was cool, but there was an abundance of working girls. Great views and hot girls.

Surrender on Wednesday night was my favorite by far. You can gamble in the middle of the club and it's sprawling. Models everywhere. Lots of foreign girls (Wow).

Spending time at the Wynn, I realised that there weren't too many hotties at the hotel bars who weren't purely working girls, which was disappointing.

I look forward to checking out the Cosmo on my next trip. Hope this helps.

Easy

I also live in Vegas. The comments on Artisan are spot-on, and it gets a decent amount of euro people on the weekends when there are house/dubstep and other DJ's playing. The company that owns the Artisan also owns a boutique called Rumor, which is by the Hard Rock Hotel and just as nice as Artisan, but has a totally different feel to it.

Cosmo is a hot place right now, and I like going there. I really like going to Vdara to chill and get drinks at the bar - there's a walkway to there from the Bellagio. (Aria is always full of obnoxious bachelorette parties and has a non-trivial number of working girls there when I've visited.) Also, getting into Mandarin Oriental from the street is not easy, but the sky lobby and bar there (on the 20-30-something floor) normally has attractive people there, is not well known as a destination, and really something you should do at night if you want to have a higher-end Las Vegas experience.

Clubs - I generally don't go to nightclubs. Agreed, though, that Wynn/Encore get the most attractive girls. Blush is closed, sadly, but was one of the better venues. If you want to try your hand at something new, try going downtown, where there's been a reinvigoration of Fremont Street east of the old casinos. The Vanguard, Downtown Cocktail Lounge, The Griffin (and Beauty Bar, if you're into hipsters) can be good. They can also be horrible. I've gone to the same places at the same times a few weekends in a row and seen wildly different types of people each time.

RE: Solo in Las Vegas
Ok just got back from my Vegas trip. My game was not that great- first night out I was solo- hung out at City Center, Bellagio, NYNY - talked to a few girls but didn't get anywhere. Managed to get pretty drunk however....

Second night - early night - had work the next day - all day - considered it a "by"

Third night- met up with a couple guys and did bottle service at Tao. Very fun night. Brought a very cute (great body!!) 22 yr old girl back to my hotel and had lots of fun. Score one for the old guy (I'm 39).

So my game lacked - but I was succesful nonethless. Vegas lived up to the hype this time.

RE: Solo in Las Vegas
G-
Not a whole lot more to tell - but here goes.
First night - stayed at Vdara - had a small suite - really liked it but not as classically nice as the Wynn (which is where I was the next two nights) - tried for the steak dinner at the bar but by the time I was eating it was pushing 10 - they were closed/closing. Went to Chandelier Bar on a recommendation from guys here. Cool bar - very few prospects - - same for Bond Bar (These are both at Cosmo). Went ove to Bellagio - Caramel - again few prospects - chatted up a couple girls - one seemed interested but was cockblocked by her married girl friend (who's husband was a few seats down the bar) - not worth the hassle - left. Went over the NYNY where I met a few women last time but again - very few prospects. Note this was a Tuesday night. So all in all - went solo to several places - chatted up a few girls - where were the most? Hard to say - it was slim pickins everywhere. How was solo? At this point I prefer a wingman to solo - but if you go to happening places it's not that big a deal. Especially if I can sit at the bar and talk to girls as they order, etc. I'm just not good at walking up to girls and opening - but once I do or once we somehow start talking via the situation or whatever - I'm good to go.

Second night - At the Wynn - Surrender was the big club that night - but it was rainy that day - and frankly even tho it supposed to be THE Wednesday night place - I saw a fair number of short skirts but saw a LOT more dudes. And the girls didn't do a ton for me - seemed Jersey-ish. Didn't go in. Called it a night. Rested up for Thursday.

Third night - Met a couple guys I didn't previously know - we went in on a 2-bottle table together. Once you're my age - money helps gaming younger girls. Met some in Tao - which was packed - lots of talent. Having a table to come back to was key - AND so was the Grey Goose - kept that flowing. While it was kind of solo since I didn't know the other two guys - it wasnt in that we talked a little bit and hung out a little bit at the table - met some younger (early 20's) girls together (I kept mine - they moved on later...) - but we had our agendas and stuck to them. What was my game at Tao? - lame (but effective) - start dancing (I'm not that great - at all) next to a girl, say hi, dance, talk a smidge, start kino, invite to my table, drink more, dance, another drink, dance, kiss....
....walk her to the taxi stand later that morning.

Not a fair comparison but Tao by far had the most/best girls. Even had some "older" girls (30's, 40's). Next time I'm in Vegas I'll be doing the bottle thing at a club again.

Hope that helps somebody at least a little.
