You know, I understand why a really buff dude who looks handsome is going to be at a huge advantage. Chicks, by and large, dig big, strong men. But for every girl I've seen fawn over a conventionally good looking man, I've seen another fawn over, for example, a Korean Pop Singer. I've noticed a lot of girls really like the thin, pretty boy, toned type of look, have you noticed anything similar?


I know it's generally accepted here(?) that the bigger and more muscular you are your chances of getting tail are optimized, but how true is that? For example, you get a fighter(think someone with the body type of Conor McGregor/Bruce Lee)that's reasonably handsome and have them stand next to a guy like Dan Bilzerian: who do you think a girl would be more naturally inclined to mate with? The man who's built his body to be as efficient as possible and who's forged himself in the flames of combat, or the man who goes to the gym to lift on a daily basis?

I'd like to clarify that I'm not trying to bash anyone, I'm just wondering how the female brain works.

Though as far as I can tell, most women like "some muscle"; not necessarily bodybuilding level of muscle. Having a six pack is also apparently a plus. Hit the gym in other words. And if you have an overbite or an under bite, work on fixing that.

Though take my words with a grain of salt, this is only what I've observed. The other members here will likely have better answers for you.

The man who goes to the gym everyday, assuming you do cardio, eat right, and don't look like a butterball powerlifter.

I'm not going to even discuss the bodybuilder type because very few people in life, and probably zero in this forum, have the genetics, capability, or drive to get big enough to where it's unpleasing to women.

Men say that it's more pleasing to women to be skinnier and efficent, because well, being skinny and efficient is easier than being ripped to shreds and jacked. One takes a year to do and one takes 5-10+ years.

Look around in a club and see for yourself. You won't find many men like Dan Blizeran standing around alone.

The truth is, women don't know WTF women want.

they'll tell you they want a guy like Brad off of fight club, untill they see brad off fight club and realize he's tiny.

Girls like rough sex, they like to be picked up and thrown around. They want a guy who has the capability to use physical strength to push somebody around or intimidate other guys.

Simply put girls want a shredded guy that she can brag about.

Let's just keep it simple, women don't look at men as men look at women. There are also far more inputs (abstract ones) that are attractive to women that guys can't even imagine. For us, it's what our eyes see physically, for them it's imagination/submission (being led). The female human body has quite a few variations, but mostly what is attractive is obvious and known. What makes a man attractive, though required through more hard work generally speaking, is like music --- a combination of characteristics that is seemingly infinite.

A man's physical appearance, while very important, is just but 1 characteristic of the man. As men, we care about characteristics in women, but relatively few, when it comes down to it.

I suppose you're correct for your first two paragraphs, but I think it's quite condescending to put down guys who's bodies are literally structured to be as efficient as humanly possible(think triatheletes, fighters, etc.) because they don't "put in the work" to look like someone like Dan Bilzerian. There's many reasons why they can't/won't look like that, which I think should be pretty obvious. Also, I would question if it's really easier to maintain a thin, all around athletic build then it is to be shredded and jacked. They both sound difficult in their own ways.

Also, my question is more a vague one. Do women in general even have a preferred body type/look for men? And a little more specific, is the stereotypical male body type even the most ideal/wanted for us?

Steve Reeves in my opinion. Not too big,, not too small, not to shredded but not too fat. Just a muscular man......Look at movies like magic mike and 50 shades of Grey, Adonis creed had a body I've seen plastered all over the internet.

Like Male Attraction to Women, I am not sure if is an exact science on a person to person basis, although as a whole things are fairly clear. Tall, Lean, Muscles, Well Groomed, Big Wang, Good facial features. Sometimes I wonder if it goes to the girls own insecurity (its always about them in their minds). If a girl is a little more curvy but perhaps with a couple extra pounds, she will go for the bigger muscular guy rather than the lean muscular guy. She feels that she looks better with the big guy, and feels fat with the lean ripped guy.

I think the key is to do what Arnold did, and assess honestly what your body needs rather than what you like to do at the gym. For instance, I like to lift, but looking at my body, probably a little more cardio would do me well.

Get the most bang for your buck at the gym, and work with what you've been given rather than try to swim upstream. Have you ever seen a chick who was skinny try to be skinnier rather than tone her ass up.

The thing with women is that social status often Trumps looks, so the rock star dude who shows some style can beat anything you do at the gym, depending on the girl of course, and what she goes for. Be in shape and have some style and its all game after that.

Pretty boy and toned works for the girls, at least for a while it works. But a real woman will want a man with something behind the muscles. Eventually these guys get called out on their pussy actions and get shown the door. But fuck, I can't believe the shit I see these guys getting away with today, I honestly don't know if the gaydar even works with how feminine some of these guys talk these days.

Quit comparing yourself or trying to find an ideal type, there isn't one. Max out your own genetic potential, overshadow your flaws and have something more than muscle because that only gets you so far... or even nowhere at all if you have the personality or confidence of a log.

Being fit = the basics.

That picture Coffee posted is pointless really. The same chick would go for both of them. They are both fit.

Think about it like this:

Every girl has something she considers physically attractive. You "pass" her basic attractiveness test, then you have to show personality, intelligence, charisma and all that good stuff. I don't think women, except for those with a fetish, will nitpick on whether you're the bodybuilder type or the fighter type.

If your over 15% Get lower or stay there, do not get fat. If you can bring down your bodyfat too 10% to 15% your good.

Doesnt matter if your 150 pounds lean or 200 pounds lean. Stay lean.

I thought I was a decent looking guy and did fine with women. I stopped working out for about 6 months and focused on my diet.

It's almost funny the way women respond. And you don't need to take your shirt off. They see it in your face.

It's like a natural trigger for them for sex. Try it once and see the difference.

If around 6' and waist around 33.5" is good.

Sex is still and always about attraction. Someone mentioned Neil as short. Might be true but he is trim.

You have a lot to learn. Looks don't matter as much as you think. They aren't going to care that your arm is one inch bigger than Dan Bilzerian's or whatever. You just have to be average looking and then make up for it with the other stuff (example: El Chapo probably has a higher SMV than the three guys you listed despite being physically shorter and fat. He makes up for this with his money, leadership, status, and confidence).

Women are first and foremost attracted to power. What are the types of power?

-wealth
-physical power (size, browline, height, etc.)
-confidence
-leadership (leading a battle, being a fighter, leading a group of men)
-status

McGregor, Bilzerian, and Mayweather all demonstrate those five signs of power. Honestly though, those three have such a sky high SMV that the average woman would be too scared of rejection and reject those guys first (eww, I'd never hookup with Conor McGreggor).

Power dynamics is why so many powerful politicians can easily bang their 21 year old intern without paying for it.

Same with why university girls are attracted to their marginally good looking professor.

I would say this is more or less accurate (with the majority of women)

What women want specifically: you need to be specific with "what women"? Younger girls or older women? For younger women just go for the one direction physique would work.

As someone who's been leaner than the standard you describe my entire adult life, I strongly disagree with this.

Back in HS and college I was cut as fuck, 6 pack and all, a very good athlete, and still couldn't get a whiff of pussy to save my life because my muscles weren't big and I had zero game.

Recently, being around 20 lbs heavier (mostly muscle), I still notice that chicks don't respond that well to me when I'm wearing dress clothes, because I'm not quite big enough to have my muscles bulging through a button-down (that remotely fits). One girl I met off Tinder in a button-down literally told me, verbatim, "I thought you'd be more built." I throw on a form-fitting t-shirt, on the other hand, and my results are very noticeably better.

The takeaway, other than that girls' standards are outrageous these days, is that GIRLS HATE SKINNY. You need to have big muscles, period.
