A teacher's aide who faked two separate bomb scares at a Brisbane school has been sentenced to probation.
Boondall State School in the city's north was evacuated in October 2016 after Nicole Willmott wrote a threatening letter to herself and a teacher.
Two months later Willmott placed an empty box under a car in the school car park and led her colleagues to believe she had planted a bomb.
Willmott did not face disciplinary action but later resigned from her position.
Her crimes had created fear and anxiety within the school community, Judge Julie Dick told the Brisbane District Court in a sentencing hearing on Tuesday.
"In this day and age any idea of bad things happening at school, or any sort of behaviour involving bombs, people are on high alert for that sort of activity," Judge Dick said.
"It causes stress generally without there being threats made."
Willmott's conviction will not be recorded so that she will not be barred from some foreign countries, and she was sentenced to conditional probation.

They all knew she was a loony with no balls so why prosecute to the fullness extent of the law? Everyone knows that when women make such threats it is 99.9% of the time it is a cry for attention. Classic pussy pass. Judge ''Dick'' not living up to his name... In a sane society she would have been involuntarily committed to a mental health facility for at least a month for a real evaluation of her mental state.
