On social standing
If you’re used to being very outspoken and consider telling the truth a core value: how do you avoid being seen as unusual rather than as someone to admire? — How can you be yourself when nobody shares your views?

I want to become the leader of all my social groups and having diverging ideas doesn’t help that in the least. Should we hide and put on an act to achieve our goals in life and with women?

Living a life following strict rules rather than being open and transparent with what you’re feeling and thinking.

I was expecting to read a longer post by Hank. Disappointed.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

RE: On social standing
i suggest you search leadership on this forum, or social status....Basically build your charisma to a level where you can communicate with any group about anything without feeling "triggered" or "offended".....As a leader, you have to guide conversation into a flow that benefits you. You Shouldn't bring up politics with women nor philosophy unless youre very good at communication.

You shouldn't necessarily hide but just because you believe something doesn't mean you're right and you have to push your views on others. Most women believe thigns totally different than 90% of the guys on here. However, we learn to steer conversation clear of that and keep things fun or interesting. A good debate is fun. but you can have conversations of substance without them.

RE: On social standing
Speaking unpopular truths in a way that leaves you socially isolated is not leadership. A leader can read people, then make things happen in a way that is good for the group.

Look for books on Social Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence, and on developing charisma. Read up on persuasion.

A lot of times, speaking the truth is the last thing you want to do if that truth is divisive. You're not the reality police. You don't have to correct everybody's wrong ideas and beliefs.

In real leadership, the words the leader speaks often are unimportant. What matters is the rapport he creates, and the way he makes people want to cooperate with him. You can be perfectly honest, and have a high level of integrity with having to speak a lot of truths that make people think you are unusual.

I'm the tower of power, too sweet to be sour. I'm funky like a monkey. Sky's the limit and space is the place!

This will always be a very unpopular view on this forum but it is my sincere belief:

True Leaders (like actual alpha males) are 99% of the time always leaders in one form or another, and it is apparent from a very young age.

You can't just decide "to become the leader of my social groups" and expect it to happen just like that.

@Saweep I’m a natural leader but I’m also young and immature; thus why I suggested following rules. I know how to be charismatic and persuasive and how to inspire action—it’s the consistency I struggle with.

Maybe I should find another way to vent my opinions to avoid acting and saying things that most people would consider strange. At first it’s always easy—it’s when you start getting too comfortable with people that you let out parts of yourself that you shouldn’t.
