Hey all...
I’m 36, in good shape, constantly doing things and keeping busy with life’s endless possibilities. Went to Colombia for two months last fall and it was one of the best trips of my life.

I am in that age range where some of my friends got married, had kids (or are starting to) and frankly hanging out with them is pretty depressing. They either make me feel bad for not jumping on that bandwagon (“we need to find you a wife!”), or logistically they are a giant sinkhole for meeting girls because all of their friends are in similar baby shackles.

Meanwhile I’m signing up for horse riding, jiu jitsu, planning trips, chasing tail and just trying to squeeze as much life out of the day as possible.

So when does it become “sad” for a single guy to still be hunting chicks? Is there a tipping point? Like... girls think you’re still a hot prospect in your mid 30s but your shit starts to stink when you’re still slinging dick in your 40s?

Curious because frankly I don’t see myself stopping for at least 5 more years , till I’m 40

Continue doing what you are doing until you get tired of it and no longer want to continue.

It will happen eventually --for most people.

It's hard to foreshadow the when and the why and it may take you many years for this to happen, but eventually you'll meet someone where it hurts more away from them than it hurts to always be with them. This happens way after the initial dopamine/oxycontin stage where you are infatuated with them at the beginning.

It does wonders for a man's ego when he hears, "that was the best fuck I've ever had." But when you hear, "Good morning my love" from someone you care about, it's an entirely different feeling in itself. It can't be forced though. It has to be sought and it takes effort. Most guys can't find it because they are too busy being drunk in a dank club at 2 a.m. and for some reason they think they are going to meet the kind of girl who is not the kind of girl who would be at a place like this at this time of the morning. Two lost souls looking to be healed in the darkness of false pretenses and alter-personas.

To answer your initial question, when do you peak? I believe you peak when you give up on yourself. You can slam a different woman every night, well into your 60's if that's what you want. Or you can meet someone you love tomorrow and stop it all. Or you can meet someone you love and slam other women together. The thing with the universe is that we all have a choice in how we live. We can all write our own script until death calls our name.

Why not both? Have a significant other, kids etc and wet your beak whenever if possible. Of course this depends on which country you live in, culture etc.

If your friends ain't rooting for you and wishing they were you travelling etc then they are a unique bunch. Outside of the bell curve. The vast vast majority would be right on or dare I say jealous.

If you find a wife who turns the other eye when you do your thing, you've hit jackpot.
