Sacha Baron Cohen at it again. . . (Who Is America?)
This time trolling celebrities. He has a new show on Showtime called "Who is America".
In this clip, he gets Jason Spencer to shout the N word over and over again, as well as several other ridiculous things such as pretending to be a Chinese tourist and talk upskirt pics:
Per this clip, he convinces reality "star " Corinnne Olympios to lie about saving 6000 people in Africa:
As if we needed another reminder of how gullible and vain celebrities and politicians are. It will be interesting to see how far he takes this show, and hopefully he will dish it out to every side, liberals and conservatives.

You already know this stupid buttfuck won't go after liberals! Asshat hasn't been funny since Borat. He sucked before and has sucked after.
It's not really trolling any more. Spencer clearly knows he's taking part in a comedy sketch and plays along hilariously "I'll touch you with my buttocks and make you a homosexual, AMERICA!"

Maybe, but then this just shows a complete lack of judgement for how this would be perceived

which liberals did he go after, i heard it was just bernie sanders. Not really a fan of cohen anymore. He just seems to be an arrogant British guy who thinks he knows better than regular american people. I know someone obsessed with Ali G, because he made fun of black rappers.
RE: Sacha Baron Cohen at it again. . . (Who Is America?)
Anyone whose seen him in the past knows he's a massive troll. Why not just airdrop him in the village that he was making fun of in Borat? I'm sure the people there would love to give him a beatdown.

I've seen both episodes released thus far and liberals are fair game.
One of his new characters specifically mocks white, self-hating male liberals.
My guess is that he only does this in service of poking greater fun at conservatives... for example trolling them. However, I've never seen the show, and don't plan to watch it. I stopped paying attention to him after the last 5 attempts failed to produce even a smirk on my face.
However, I will take your word for it and consider myself to be corrected on the point. Cohen is still a stupid buttfuck.

EXCLUSIVE: Riverside gun store confronts Sacha Baron Cohen after he comes to business in disguise
Quote:RIVERSIDE, CA (FOX 11) - A Riverside gun store owner has harsh words for Sacha Baron Cohen after he says he caught the actor showing up to his business in disguise and under false pretense, and it was all caught on surveillance video.
The video was provided exclusively to FOX 11.
It happened at Warrior One Guns & Ammo in February 2017. That’s when owner Norris Sweidan told FOX 11 Cohen and a camera met him while claiming to be filming a documentary about a Hungarian immigrant wanting to buy a gun.
“He comes in, off the bat you can see in the video I’m looking like, this guy does not look like a Hungarian immigrant, tight ass leather pants, a beard, it just didn’t fit,” Sweidan said. “The moment his words came out of his mouth I was like this guy is full of s***.”
Sweidan told FOX 11 Cohen said he wanted to buy a gun, but said it with a very odd sounding accent he didn’t find credible.
“I’m looking at the producer and I’m just like am I being fooled right here?” Sweidan said. “And I just kept looking at the guy and I was like you’re Borat, as soon as I said that his eyes just looked at me like, and he did a turn right out the door.”
He says after Cohen left the store, he left his crew behind.
“We’re talking to the people they don’t wanna give us an answer, we basically told them to get the f*** out, you guys are all full of s***, have a great day, get out,” Sweidan said.
He said it’s obvious what Cohen’s intentions were.
“Once I knew it was Borat, we already know his game and his bull*****, so we knew he’s here to make a mockery, and of what? Gun owners? The gun business, gun shops,” Sweidan said.
He believes Cohen meant to use it as a segment in his new program on Showtime called “Who is America?” which recently aired its first episode, and showed some gun rights advocates promoting arming children while filming segments with Cohen, who was in an Israeli disguise.
Sweidan can’t believe the men fell for the disguise.
“You’ve got some gun advocate holding a bunny on some gun, if you’re a gun advocate, what the f*** are you doing holding a gun with a bunny on it, really?” He said.
Sweidan believes Cohen targeted his store because its very well known, and it’s in the process of filming a show called Down the Barrel.
And he says, Cohen and Showtime picked the wrong guy to mess with.
“He was fake, the producers were fake, the show was fake, and Showtime is fake to be honest with you,” he said. “They want a real story, come talk to us. Well give you a real story.”
Showtime told FOX 11 the company has no comment in response to this report.

Borat sucked. It had a handful of funny moments but I dislike Borat fans as much as anyone that liked Forrest Gump.

I loved Borat, but the more I watch his material, both films and youtube videos of his old skits, the less I can stomach it. In all the videos, he's just mocking good natured and honest people, and after you notice the pattern it seems very condescending.

RE: Sacha Baron Cohen at it again. . . (Who Is America?)
Yeah, I think a lot of folk are feeling a bit jaded about Cohen nowadays. He's been around a long time now and while he occasionally makes you laugh, it's always accompanied by a guilty shameful feeling; that you shouldn't really be laughing at someone powerful (in media terms) making fun of weak, naive, gullible, stupid or just good-natured people.
He's only throwing in a few hits on liberals in order to make everyone think he's being fair and impartial. But he's far from impartial, his favourite target is always to the right (though mostly cuckservatives). I haven't seen any of the new series and nobody is talking about it at work.
Having said that comedy has it's own 'boner test'; if it makes you laugh, it's funny! I might try and catch the next episode to see if he's improved any over the years.

Ali G was a great show and anyone watching then saw one of the most funny men alive and absolutely brilliant.
Then subsequently he became more and more political, but did it in a way that wasn't as obvious. Even with Borat he wanted to show the evil and racist the White goys are.
Now he goes after politicians and gun activists. Admittedly they are guilty themselves if they fall for it and are honestly considering arming 4 year olds, but it is clear that Cohen went ever stronger anti-Trump anti-West with each movie.
I get it that he even makes fun of the Israeli right - left Israelis are extremely anti-gun, but still - all this lecturing is set to make the US - and especially the white Christian US look bad:
Quote:Sacha Baron Cohen disguises himself as caricatures of people who come from groups he and his tribe despise, in order to dupe unsuspecting marks to reveal their Inner Bigot. That’s his schtick. It was pretty funny in Borat, (a movie that tellingly was far more light-hearted than his later output), but it’s been downhill since for his career as the full fury of his jewish hatred for the goyische kopf ripens and manifests in his movies in lockstep with his growing arrogance.
But now, it’s hard to laugh at Borat knowing that it percolates with Cohen’s jewish predilection to mock and humiliate Gentile Slavs (Kazakhs –> Cossacks). Once you’ve seen the blood-libel slicked gears of the Matzo Machine, you tend not to appreciate the assembly-line product as much.
His latest output is a Soytime series called Who Is America?, and unsurprisingly he spends most of the show posing as a flyover rube and luring trusting Heritage Americans and Trump voters into embarrassing interviews meant to confirm his (and his shitlib audience’s) preexisting prejudices. As if there wasn’t already a shrinking market in European Christendom for that brand of hostile jewish humor.
And I even like the guy - the persona of the Israeli colonel is funny as well - he probably took it out of real life, because those guys exist over there. The arming of 4-year-olds is insane of course and that is how he dupes those unsuspecting politicians - they likely agreed to more things, because he was claiming to represent Israel. We know how beholden the US and many other politicians around the world are to them.
Still - it's a shame really - his brother is a highly successful scientist in the UK and he could be doing wonderful comedy, but I guess this is the times we live in.

He interviews Bernie Sanders and it would be easy to go down on him for his Venezuela comment and other statements.
But instead the entire shtick is to create persona similar to a AlexJones/Redneck who is just dumb as rocks.
That is how good propaganda works.
He may point fun at the most radical SJWs, but that is really easy. When he does that, then can blast the other 98% of leftie anti-Western propaganda how he loves to do.

Ali G was not making fun of black rappers. He made fun of UK street culture a bit, but the absolute main target of that character was white middle class (Jews included) kids who grew up in nice areas in and around London who tried to emulate 'urban' slang etc. I always though taking that character to the States was stupid, because it's quintessentially British and difficult to grasp if you're not from here. Yes, 'wiggers' exist in America of course, but Ali G was very specific to a particular time in late 90s/early 2000s Britain.
He did catch flak for this though from black activists and white left wingers, from Wiki:
Quote:Although Baron Cohen has repeatedly stated that Ali G is a parody of suburban, privileged youth acting in a way that they think is typical of black people, some commentators have opined that the force of the humour is derived from stereotypes of blacks, not poseur whites. According to this view of the character, the suburban background written into Ali G's character serves as a false alibi.
The comedian Felix Dexter has said that he appreciated the humour of an innocent confronting an expert with neither understanding the other, but felt that "a lot of the humour is laughing at black street culture and it is being celebrated because it allows the liberal middle classes to laugh at that culture in a safe context where they can retain their sense of political correctness"
That last part is absolutely true to be fair.

He's possibly many things but most certainly not stupid. I don't like that reasoning: "everyone I disagree with politically is stupid". I'm 'right wing', yet I can absolutely say without any hesitation that Sarah Palin is stupid. I doubt she's ever even watched a subtitled film. Compare that to the founding fathers who were often multilingual.

Geez, black people are so sensitive. Ali G was making fun of both wiggers and 'street culture'. So what? There is plenty to ridicule about hip hop culture. People need to get a sense of humour.
Don't debate me.

I'm not a fan of Cohen. I don't follow the mass media and don't think today's comedians are funny. However, a man who gets tricked into dropping his pants in front of a TV camera is not a leader and should be kicked to the side of the road. Cohen is taking advantage of the youtube whores out there craving attention.
RE: Sacha Baron Cohen at it again. . . (Who Is America?)
Forrest Gump was a celebration of Baby Boomers and how special Baby Boomers thought they were.
Meanwhile, in the real world, the Baby Boomers pissed away the greatest advantages that any generation ever had
------------
As for Baron Cohen, he's an aggressive pro Zionist British Jew who thinks that people like him are morally superior to their rivals and everybody else.
Every one of his jokes flows from this assumption. If you don't make that assumption, if you think that, for example, people are equal in the eyes of the lord, then Cohen's jokes making fun of lower classes for trying to deal with lower class problems are not funny.

Never found him funny, plus Cohen hasn't been relevant since 'Boratmania'. Remember circa 2006/2007 when annoying assholes used to impersonate and quote Borat incessantly? Painful.
