What is it with main stream media writing articles on incels lately. Now they are writing articles for there biased agenda, never talking about feminism and female hypergamy being the reason men need to become good looking.

They're treading really carefully with their condemnation and fake sympathy for these people. They must innately know than young blue-balled men are dangerous.

Of course they tried to make these people out as odd or obsessed and didn't even bother to say anything about the state of society that might be causing these things.

I miss the days when media at least TRIED to give the illusion of presenting some information and letting you make up your own mind. Look at that video thumbnail. It tells you who "you" are supposed to be (young liberal female) and how "you" are supposed to react when consuming the content (with delighted horror).

Im sure most guys felt like Incels before. But OP is right, female hypergamy is the cause. The real problem is the fact that there are so many movies, books, shows, and games that paint women choosing "incels" have underlying messages.

These messages basically tell men to wait and save the women who don't deserve to be saved. This, in turn, makes women less desirable and men less choosy. Like the Incel leader, FaceandLMS said "3-4's men have to settle for 1-2's women" and even then those men have to have game to get that.

FaceandLMS might be a horrible person but one thing he does get right is the importance of looks and how most game experts lie to incels and tell them looks don't matter.

I only glanced through the video, but one part stood out.

The woman says that women like guys who can make them laugh or are smart, whereas men base things on the physical. The obvious implication being that men are shallow whereas women are deep and look beyond the surface. Utter bullshit, and studies have proven this. I make my girlfriend laugh and I'm reasonably intelligent, but she wouldn't be with me if I was fat and broke.

And the incel discussion overall is a case study on how to market ideas. Angry, obese feminists have somewhat successfully convinced our culture that all women should be considered beautiful, that we should take away all reason and logic since a woman's feelings equals the truth.

How are feminists really different from incels? Their main point is that they are supposedly treated unfairly by society, primarily the opposite sex. Yet our culture coddles feminism, yet disparages incels.

That we live in a world where Tess Munster is considered a model shows how far things have gotten out of hand.

personally, i agree with the incels. Women do have a hypergamous nature that value looks over personality. Of course you can win over some women with personality but if you look like a male model then you're pretty much in there.

A perfect example is my workout partner, he's an antisocial verbally abuse asswipe btu he's jacked AF and has many features women view as attractive. He has ZERO luck in person with women but online Via tinder and stuff he can get almost any woman he wants. His notch count went from 0-6 in a couple weeks.

Dude has NO game.

They have given up and instead of working on inner game decided to work completely on the outer. Thus putting them in a never-ending cycle of lookmaxing. Women are incapable of openly expressing the criteria they really use, as this Youtube channel demonstrates. They either aren't conscious of it or they are afraid of how it makes them look or both.

Your anecdote underscores why there has been a real proliferation of incels: the shift of dating from in-person to online. It's definitely the case that more men are getting their notches from online than night game and that hardly anyone does day game. This hasn't been widely mentioned, but I suspect that men are also getting laid far more online than even social circle, for two reasons:

1: social atomisation: more and more people in general have less community and social connections and are more isolated, for various economic and social reasons, reducing the prospects for social circle game
2: workplace game is far riskier than before, for obvious reasons, whereas in the past, plenty of men used to meet their wives at work (e.g. my father)

Since the avenues for non-online game have gotten harder, there has been a strong shift to online, making the importance of looks increasingly paramount. Hence the surge in incels. Your jacked friend, on the other hand, seems to be capitalising on this development.

I didn't read the article or watch the video btw, but from the comments, I doubt they made even the slightest effort to understand the predicament of incels.

The rise of the incel phenomenon is *also* internet-related.

When I was in high school, we had "local long distance" dialup and internet access was out of the question for most kids. There were a few weird kids. Really weird. They all hung out together, and they mostly grew out of it after high school because they really had no choice but to figure out how to socialize. Maybe they never really caught up, but they got jobs and eventually met girls.

Now, if you're kind of a weird fucker, you actually have the option to go home and immerse yourself solely in an echo chamber of other weird fuckers who will teach you how to be an even weirder fucker. It's literally a lifestyle choice that you can make and immerse yourself in, like becoming a furry. This was literally not possible 20 years ago.

I think it was Chateau Heartiste that coined a term for the female equivalent - an Insol (Involuntary Solitude). This is a woman that, despite her best efforts, is unable to keep a man around. We all know plenty of these gals and they tend to be older.

At any rate, I doubt a rag like the Huff Po would focus on this other end of the spectrum. They're basically a tampon for far-left chicks.

Even rightish commentators have picked up on this incel trope. I saw a video from Roaming Millennial a few days ago (not going to link to probable TradThot) on the subject.

The initial idea of an incel was just that, an involuntary celibate. This was to distinguish from the term celibate, which is most often associated with voluntary celibacy (usually for religious reasons). That was it. That was all it meant.

But, the modern and manufactured image of the incel is Elliot Rodger. Incels are dangerous, sexually-aggresive, yet ever-frustrated, loser weirdos who are all one bad look away from shooting up a mall.

I've met plenty of incels. Most of them couldn't muster the drive to consider figuring out how one would purchase a gun in their state. These guys are often (often, not always!) incels for a reason, and that reason is a lack of drive. They aren't crazy. They aren't murderous fanaticists. They are lazy guys who are lamenting the fact that thirty years ago you could probably land a passably decent chick with much less effort. Now, you have to really step up your game to get that same passably decent chick. And, they don't want to do that. Essentially they are MGTOW and they just don't realize it or want to acknowledge it.

Honestly, can't blame incels. Men still have their needs and they were born in the worst era of women the world has seen.
Not only are women worse, so are the options as online game encourages hypergamy even more and gives even a below average woman the entitlement of a queen due to the attention.

What they are however doing wrong is putting the pussy so much on pedestal that their entire lives revolve around it. Easy for me to say there's more to life than pussy, but what else are they going to do?
