Every guy in here is walking around with a smartphone. Every smartphone is loaded with a voice recorder. This means every guy in here is walking around with an immense tool in his pocket.

I've started recording day game approaches on my iPhone. It's been an invaluable aid in field testing material - figuring out what works, throwing away what doesn't work, practicing pacing and tonality etc.

Use http://tindeck.com to host your audio clips. Download Audacity to mute out personal information (http://audacity.sourceforge.net). Post your recordings on this forum for feedback.

Here's a couple of my approaches.

This is a day game approach from late August with a lone girl waiting at a bus stop. In hindsight I was using elements of what Roosh preaches in Day Bang without being conscious of it.

Thing is its exactly what he is going for as recommended in Day bang to go indirect and not "scare the cat." Negs during the day can seem try hard and too arrogant outside of the night scene. It was hard to understand a couple of the audios but I really liked the Austrian girl always saying "yea" "yea" all the time. Definitely went up the yes ladder quickly there hehe. I'm a noob so I don't really know what else to say.

This is a good idea, I've thought about recording some of my approaches to try and pick apart later to see what I did right and wrong. Kudos to you for be innovative, my biggest piece of advice would be to ditch the mystery method routines. Follow Roosh's advice from Day Bang, otherwise just go "freestyle".

Appreciate the feedback gentlemen.

#1 - The Aussie girl was unusually loquacious. She was a warm up set, I wasn't attracted to her so I thought of her as a conduit to expand my social circle. I did keep in touch and met with her and her mates at a pub 2 weeks later. Still friends but I would not hit.

#2 - Ya got busted for recording when I handed over my iPhone to put her contact in - there's a red banner across the top that says "Recording" with a timer. Emailed her a couple days later, she didn't respond. Maybe discovering the recording creeped her out.

#3 - I liked this girl. Since she was skipping town, my first text that night was asking to see if she was up for breakfast the next morning, she never responded. Not enough comfort? I should've warmed her up over text/phone first.

Still working on tightening up my follow-up game - it's been my biggest sticking point.

This is definitely a great idea, gives a lot of the same information as videos but seems a lot more practical and easier to do. I am definitely not an experieced player so I can't help you too much. Although the asking opinion openers do seems unnatural and strange to me, but hey, if they work then they work. Also, I definitely think the girl who caught you recording isn't responding due to that. I'm sure she instantly thought you were doing this for some game, or as a joke or something, because "I like recording things" isn't exactly a "get out of jail" line. Hard to fix that, maybe you could claim you didn't realize it and your phone sometimes has buttons getting hit while in your pocket, but you admitted it so it looks like it came off as extremely suspicious and weird.

I often hear guys mention or suggest giving a girl your phone so she can punch in her own number... this seems unnecessary, is there a reason people do this?

I also had two questions regarding your post. How would you rate yourself in terms of looks, and where do you keep the phone when recording? In some of the clips the girl's voice comes out louder and more clearly than yours. Seems like a shirt pocket would give the best audio but would look odd.

I didn't listen all the way through, but I heard a lot of cliched, "PUA"-style routines crammed into the beginning (e.g., "is it okay to break up over text?"). I'd move away from those.

Otherwise I'd say you're doing pretty well, good tonality, voice, and speech patterns.

Alright, I'm taking a lot of flack here for using canned routines but... MYSTERY METHOD WORKS.

I've used the same canned script on all these girls. I've rehearsed and delivered it enough times that to the unsuspecting target it comes off completely natural, with smooth transitions. I can get her attracted, laughing and feeling comfortable enough to invest in the interaction. I'm batting close to 100% in closing digits when I can get all the way through my routine stack. If she's not hooking and I'm not feeling a connection, I quickly bounce. I don't waste time.

When I get her out I'll charm her wit my natural with and personality, physically escalate and bang. But when running day game I have a small window of time to make my pitch, with little margin for error. Forget instant dates - I have places to go, she has places to go. I need to make enough of a favourable enough impression, and run just the right amount Attraction + Comfort material for those 5 minutes to get the girl thinking of me as a cool intriguing guy, and responsive when I follow-up.

I'm still a rookie when it comes to day game. With a few hundred cold approaches down I'll wing it and won't need routines a crutch. For now I'll stick with this as it's getting me an assload of numbers.

I'm in on this. After reading this thread while on a sushi date tonight I saw some Greek girls outside smoking and turned on the recorder and went in. The recorder made it impossible for me to the point where I was cracking up.

I never knew my phone had this with the meter and all so I will get with it....Good times!

I'll give the backstory a little quick" don't repeat yourself like that. change it up. also, you used that same thing in the other audio right? I know you might be doing decent with the canned stuff but try some natural stuff. you're not building enough building enough natural tension.

That's generally how my initial texts go - callback humour, how was the rest of your day, slight teasing+comfort+qualification, gotta go (insert DHV activity), ttyl. Anything more and it comes across needy and pushy. I gradually build more comfort+qualification over text the following day and try to get her briefly on the phone 2 days later. If the convo goes well I'll suggest a hangout.

The key is sustaining the emotional momentum from the initial interaction. Often times it seems like it doesn't matter how charming or suave you were or how you made her feel for those 5 minutes. At the end of day she'll come home and her rationalization hamster will spin - "Ya he was cute and charming but I don't know him. He could be a serial killer." Unfortunately there's still a huge "stranger danger" paranoia and it's how a lot of college girls in North America think.

It seems like there is a small margin for error on these quick closes. I know ideally you want a good 20min+ interaction/instant date but often logistics dictate that you have to go for the quick close with street/campus game. I think there is a way to wrangle it if replies can be tight enough and not have all these numbers go to waste.

I'd be interested in suggestions for tweaking my stack to ensure a higher chance of a non-flake/getting the girl out.

I was thinking of closing with this:

Dude recently I've been getting flaked on hardcore by girls who seem really interested and stoked to be giving me their numbers only to not even reply to my texts, so I feel your pain so to speak. I've also had a quite a few girls that would happily and quickly reply to my texts, only to not commit to meeting up with me for a date. Recently, I've had a really low tolerance for this behavior and have stopped pursuing a lot of girls that act like this, maybe I'm giving up too easily and not be persistent enough.

As far as your situation with this chick goes, I'd say she basically rejected you, so yes the "set is dead". If for some reason she reengages you, then it's back on, and time to push to hang out, but it sounds highly unlikely that will happen. One thing that I've done recently is send a text to them basically saying "what's up, I'm hitting the bars later, will prob be at X bar around X time, meet me down there to grab a drink...", or something to that affect. This way, I'm doing my thing and if she does happen to not have much going on and is open to meeting up, then she's meeting me and I have the upper hand. If she doesn't even reply, then I don't take it as a rejection, because I'm still doing my thing anyways.

Really I think the core of the problem lies in a few basic principles. For one, in day game (esp. the way you run it) you're only having a 5-10 min chat with a total stranger, I think a lot of us would agree that, that's not a whole lot of time to develop a mutual vibe, rapport, connection, sexual tension, etc. that are all necessary for seduction. (This is especially true when alcohol is not involved, bc/ we all know how much it lowers inhibitions).

Secondly, now a days from my observations looks are almost the most important thing women look at... Sure, confidence and GAME are extremely important and can compensate if you're not that good looking, but it's not going to make the difference to a woman if you're a 5 with good game vs. a guy who's a 8 with average game. Women are using the 1-10 scale in our modern times to rate guys just like we rate them. I'm not trying to insinuate that you're not a good looking dude, because you could look like Brad Pitt for all I know. My point is looks are always going to be a major limiting factor for creating attraction, seduction, and turning a woman on sexually.

Finally, as I've mentioned before, you have no idea where a girl is at in her life and how many other potential "suitors" she may have. The problem with my town that I've bitched about recently, is that most cute girls aren't single and the ones who are have like 5 other thirsty guys trying to "woo" them. Point is, this girl as well as any random girl might have a BF she hasn't mentioned, she might have 3 fuck buddies and isn't too motivated for a 4th, she might be a conservative Christian girl who wants to find a guy from her church.

I hate to say this again, but I feel like it's good advice. I think all those mystery method routines come off as strange, think about it right after you ask a girl for directions, you ask her for relationship advice, for your friend.... Maybe we live on two different planets, but that shit just seems strange, unnatural, and uncool to me. Sure you deliver it well and it hooks them into conversation, but at this point it's like all pre-programmed shit you're saying. I think you should "be yourself" and just go with the flow, find things to comment on in the situation, drop "bait" to get her interested in you and get her asking questions. It might take a while for you to get good, but I suggest you drop the "training wheels" (mystery method routines), and just go off what you know.

Solid approach. She seemed a little too eager to give you her number, and she kind of has the voice of a fat girl. I'm guessing you have a lot of presence and she was feeling kind of intimidated, you might be over-gaming this chick. Next texts you send out, give her a place and time to meet up. Don't ask her if she is hitting the town, tell her.

wait a day or two and start off with a warm up text like "how's my favorite pharm-girl." then send her some orders "hey, what are we doing tonight/this weekend. I hear there is some x at x." This might be more aggressive than you're used to, but what do you have to lose.

Also, figure out if she likes hitting the town. If she's not into what you are suggesting you'll never get her out.

Btw, about 3/4's into the recording when you ask her why she wanted to be a pharmacist. That was solid, but you should have started walking and ask her to come with you and tell you more. Insta-dates are always better than numbers. Throw a lot of kino in there too.

Hey bro I understand your overall point and but context matters. I certainly wouldn't stop a busy career woman in a pantsuit powerwalking across Midtown Manhattan to ask her for relationship advice, but in a relaxed bubble environment with same-aged peers like a college campus this stuff works really well. It's the sort of inane gossip fluff talk that hook early 20s girls really well and really quickly. It's just an excuse to start a conversation, notice that I get off the subject right away. You'll notice I start sounding normal around the 3:00 where the real "get to know you" conversation happens. At this point I've dropped enough subtle bait/DHV spikes for her to see me as a high value guy and invest in the interaction, and just as her buying temperature has peaked I get the number, seed a hangout and bounce.

Also you're thinking like a dude. Men think in terms of linear logical progression, women are all over the place. If I stopped a dude on the street and recited my stack no doubt the guy would think I'm crazy. Women need to be led emotionally.
