Hey guys, I think I want to try ecstasy at a rave, especially if I can do it with a girl I'm already banging.

Have any of you taken it? Did you have a good experience?

Can you drink alcohol with it?

How long before the end of the night should I take it? Like if I plan to leave the party at 6AM should I take it at 1,2 or 3AM?

I know I need to get it from a trusted source so it won't kill me. I've never done anything other than weed so kind of excited to try this. I don't have an addicting personality so should be fine on that front.

Do feel the same afterwards or do you feel like your brain has taken permanent damage or rewiring? I don't want to like not be able to remember things or be slow afterwards... I just want to do it a few times if I like it now that I'm young.

Don't carry it on you.

Take it 45min to an hour before you go to the club. That's how long it takes to kick in.
Lasts about 3-4 hours if you're lucky.

Make sure you eat dinner. It raises your body temperature so drink fluids at the club. Water ...etc.

It kinda overtakes the effect of alcohol. It's a stimulant so you lose your alcohol buzz or drunk feeling.
Just take it easy mixing any drugs and alcohol. Not a good idea.

What does it feels like? It's a mood enhancer. You just feel wide awake and have a general happy feeling.
Makes you feel like everyone is your best friend. That's why it's called the hug drug. Takes away any
feeling of inhibition and anxiety.

Usually comes in pill form. My friend started getting MDMA in powered form that you can snort.
I've heard of ravers plugging E to get a better high.

I've only had good experiences with it. Only difference from pill to pill was how long it lasts.
Good one lasted me 4+ hours. Bad one lasted about 2.

You can drink tons on it, but you probably don't want to.

It can lessen the high, and when it wears off you can be wasted.

Also, it can have an effect where your body is drunk but your mind is not; which isn't ideal.

My advice if you haven't done it yet in your life, don't do it.

And this is coming from a person that has been through drug eras.

If there is one thing I know, it's drugs. I survived the Extasy Wonder Gang Era of the 90's.

If you are going to take it (and I cannot convince you not to), have some food in your stomach but don't be stuffed (ie huge steak or pasta).

I liked doing it with sushi, but I wouldn't recommend that for everyone.

Also, take a half first to see how you deal with it. Then take the other half later.

Don't take all at once.

Drink water. But not too much.

Don't snort it. It will burn the f*ck out of your nose and the high will be violent and disappear quickly.

And make sure, make sure, make sure, make sure, it is good stuff.

The only "consistent" with Beans is that they are inconsistent.

The last thing you want is heroin or striknine (sp?) poisoning.

pretty much what G said...far and away the funnest drug i've tried but it can be dangerous and isnt really for everyone. take a half, see how that goes, and maybe drop the other half later that night. dont take the half, wait 20 minutes, think you dont feel anything, then drop the other half. give it about an hour to kick in. you will know when it kicks in. wouldnt kill you to have a drink or two but i'd stick to mostly water and drink plenty - you tend to sweat a lot (especially at a rave) and getting dehydrated on E can be dangerous. the biggest problem i've ever had w/E is sometimes a day or two later you can get a depressed feeling where you dont feel good about a lot of things, you're just kind of down and sad. that can suck for a day but it goes away after a day or so. first and foremost be careful.

You'll definitely know when it kicks in. Your senses are super stimulated.

Feel wide awake. Lights are bright in a dark club. You can hear everything people say
even with the loud music.

We used to roll and go to the casino and then the club. Ahh good times.

Obviously, drugs are bad for your health, but MDMA and E (MDMA is the main psychoactive ingredient of E which gives you the "love") are especially bad since they are neuro-toxic, which means that they bascially can destroy your synapses and thus permanently damage your brain when taken too often. Whats too often? Taking it every weekend for some months. This being said, alcohol is also neuro-toxic and also fucks with your brain, liver, stomach, etc. and the only difference is that it is culturally accepted while E and other drungs are not. As always in life, too much of anything is most likely to be hazardous, an healthy balance is the key.

Ive done E and pure MDMA maybe a dozen times and always had quite some nights. I dont like to recommend doing drugs to anyone, but if you want to try it, go for it. You certainly wont die from doing E/MDMA and its not super addictive. You most likely wont end up craving popping another one every day, because youll have a bad fucking hangover which can last several days. You can get into a kinda like depressed state, since your brain has run out of serotonin (the "happiness hormon") after the E-frenzy and has to reproduce it, which can take some days. To avoid the hangover to develop badly, make sure to hang around with good friends, get some sunlight, etc.

E is always in pill form and MDMA looks kinda like seasalt. DONT SNORT IT! Since its kinda chunky and toxic, your nose will hurt badly afterwards. You can either dip it by sticking your moist fingertip into your badge or do "bombs", which means putting a small amount into a rolling papers and swallow it with water or something.

When doing E, make sure to always drink lots of water, since it raises your body temperature and youll sweat like a mofo. Another sideeffect is that youll most likely will start grinding with you teeth without noticing it. Looks shitty and makes your jaw hurt, bring some gum.

I like to describe the effect it self as feeling the love. Youll basically turn into big loveball, want to hug people, get horny, feel plenty of energy, get the feeling that you can relate to everybody, etc. When youve done too much, your dick wont get hard. Happend to me once and cost a toilet-booth fuck with a hot goth/vampire girl...still hurts me.

I strongly agree with G on those points. Since in Europe most of the shit comes from clandestine labs in places like Ukraine or Belarus you will never know for sure whats in it.

Nevertheless, its the best drug ever, but do it with moderation!!!

I took it for the first time last week, and it was incredible. Drinking doesn't hurt, me and my friends took a couple of vodka shots and we were fine It kicks in within 45 min to an hour after taking it, with the feeling peaking about 1.5 hours after consumption. You plateau there for about 2-3 hours, and then you'll come down. Coming down from E sucks because you feel tired, dehydrated and a bit depressed as others mentioned. Make sure you drink lots of water--other than that, have a blast. It was a cool euphoria that led to me talking to a couple of guys who invited me and my boys to their charity event the day after. Good things happen when rolling.

But Riker, you should know that what people are saying was their experience might not be anything like yours.

Beans can but don't always take X amount of time to hit, X amount of time to "plateau" and X amount of time to wear off. And afterwards, you don't always fee like X. The word "always" does not apply to this drug.

Every batch of this stuff is different, and even on the same batch, there are tons of different variables from person to person.

I have seen 5 people take it the same batch and one feels it right away, 3 feel it in an hour and the other guy claims it "doesn't work".

Then five hours later you see the guy who claimed it "didn't work" talking and kissing someones pet Pitbull for the next 7 hours.

I will repeat: "The only "consistent" with Beans is that they are inconsistent."

That is why it was such a pain to sell the stuff.

Not like I would know anything about that though.

Still, I wonder how much long term damage E would do if you only used it a couple times a year... I have to admit I'm curious to see how it would affect me.

I recommend looking into selegiline as a possible defense. Its a prescription, but its commonly taken. Also, perhaps, idebenone. That can be attained OTC, but not a lot of shops carry it.

If you can't get selegiline, then try just a bit of tyrosine. You don't need a lot, and it does have the potential to put you on edge. But it will act as a neuroprotectant (much better than 5htp, imo - serotonin is actually pretty toxic - you dont necessarily want to force a pool of it as a 'preload' as many people do - but others swear by it - do your research). I take about a tenth of a 500 mg capsule of tyrosine every few days for a general hormonal boost. The only negative for me is that it'll give you a hard on all night while you sleep. Kind of annoying. But, it will boost dopamine, protect your brain a bit, and maybe even increase pleasure. Your receptors will downregulate in response, and so be sure to space out how often you take it. Experiment with your tyrosine dosing. NEVER take tyrosine with selegiline unless you want to risk a hypertensive crisis. You dont need both.

Edit: Actually L-Phenyalanine might be a kinder and gentler way to boost dopamine then is Tyrosine. I currently dont have any experience with it, but I have some L-Phen on its way to try. People give good reports. I have no idea about combo with he drug that you reference.

Just for your reference, oxytocin (NOT oxyCONTin) oxyTOCIN is responsible for the "love everything and everyone" response to the drug (its actually a reduction in the level of fear that we all carry around with us every day, under our awareness). That's why you can approach people that you never, ever would otherwise while on it.

I used to buy about 30 at a good price and pop 10 from Friday to sunday. This was when I was 18 and 19. I've had good ones that make me feel like I own the world to ones that had me laying down for 4 hours because I was stuck. Just depends what's in it. I don't do them anymore but I only smoke bud and drink now days. I would go ahead and pop one if you're curious. Make sure to get high right afyer popping it. Its overrated and to expensive for a 4 hour high IMO but again, I've had my fun with drugs.

Surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but you have to have a reliable source. Some manufacturers mix in all sorts of crap. At best you're ripped off, at worst you could get very ill. Make sure you get the real deal.

The major long-term concern with E is that if you take too much, over too long a period you could start suffering from depression long-term. Kind of like some heavy long-term dope smokers have problems with short-term memories later in life.

So as long as you don't have an addictive personality and take the normal precautions (have friends around, drink enough, but not too much water) you should be fine. As far as I'm concerned E is the drug with the best cost/benifit (Hey, I work in Finance) ratio. Also, though I haven't been involved with it for many years, the final link in the supply-chain where I was living at the time were pretty hot club-chicks. Though I guess that's not true everywhere.

I hear you G, now that you brought it up my friend who also took E from the same batch I had did not feel anything. The time range I gave was based off of the multiple times my other friends have done E, and it paralleled that of mine. The amount of time spent experiencing the high will change depending on the ratio of actual MDMA vs other substances like ephedrine, or caffeine, that can be mixed in a batch. Regardless, it's worth a try.

It also depends on your metabolism. The five hours later guy may have been fat and constipated

its not addictive. i've known lots of people who used to play w/it and none ever got in any kind of trouble that way.

as far as long term damage on a couple uses per year, i think its pretty minimal. i used to know a few doctor's who would play around

Everyone is different, but generally when someone says that they have an addictive personality its best to listen to that. You may not be able to empathize with it, but its good to comprehend it on some level that they are giving you a warning. Its similar to if a girl tells you that "she has a jewelry addiction". Its a big red flag.

Yes, it's like you say, if you have an addictive personality it's DEFINATELY to be avoided. This is also true of legal drugs like alcohol as well.

Of course millions of people have used E at some point in their lives, no longer do, and are just fine now. I suppose people just have to "know themselves". Which is difficult, especially if you are young.
