I came across the above website last night on prostitute recuitment techniques. About a quarter way down the page I was a little surprised find this from a detective quoting a pimp informant:


"Out of the three girls, he would always go for the one that was the second most attractive. His reasoning was that the most attractive girl was used to getting most of the attention and would not be wooed so easily. The least attractive girl would be suspicious and wonder why he was paying attention to her. The middle girl, on the other hand, would be flattered to be the center of his attention."


Doesn't this sound an awful lot like Mystery's theory on disarming obstacle? I found this interesting. I didn't find anything resembling neg theory in the study though (Ha!).

Makes sense, pimps have been doing it way longer than any of us. This reminds me of Roissy's article "What betas can learn from pimps"
