What the OP video gets confused is the word "masculine" doesn't have to describe every man. You can technically be a man and not be masculine at all. These men, however, WANT to be called masculine. Masculine is the male version of "sexy". Whereas thousands of skinny, fat, ugly, unattractive women "fought" to be called sexy, there are now hundreds of videos telling men that weak qualities are considered masculine.

Women also hear this word and its positivity and wonder why they can't be seen as masculine. Tear the word down and you can finally live within its ruins.

Traditionally masculine qualities will ALWAYS be preferred over weaker more emotional attributes.

I remember watching this a year or 2 ago

and finally realizing being this new age "warm" male is lame and weak.

I just watched it again for a laugh. I would have still thought it was straight up, but I saw the Funny or Die logo, and that made me wonder. Then I recognized Will Farrell, and realized it's an over the top spoof.

There is no real need for these definitions of masculinity to "evolve".

And the thing is, if you had a frank discussion with guys 20, 30, 50+ years ago and asked whether anti-social, violent behaviour (wolves rather than sheepdogs) including raping and killing women was a toxic (per)version of masculinity, virtually all guys would agree with you or else say that wasn't masculine at all. Some men aren't built for war.

Some vets live worse off as civilians than as vets (atleast in the ranks they're respected for their actions instead of judged and villainized for them here)

I have ALOT of resepct for the military but let's face it. A VAST VAST VAST majority joins for the benefits, To get a sports car (popular meme) the "free" schooling, and the almost guaranteed job.
