For those experienced with Medellin, I am looking for a good idea of what to do.. I am going from a Wednesday to Monday so only have 5 nights.. I am thinking I will definitely do Babylon nightclub Thursday Friday and Saturday stay in el Parque too.. I may do the Guatape tour on a Sunday.. I am concerned with safety at night more so at the nightclubs I think el Pobablo is safe area but I also want to make sure there are some local Colombian women that go and not all tourists.. What is your guys favorite spots to game I do like clubs over bars because I love dance and grind.

Parque Lleras is probably one of the most dangerous places to party in Colombia, especially if you are alone. We’ve written about it a billion times in the Colombia master thread, so go read that for more information.

really?? i was told it was safe and a tourist zone? i hope i didn't book the wrong one. I have an airbnb right there and plan to game the women at babylon discotech, sixtina clubs .. i will check

You will be fine. Just know that all the 'easy' to approach sets around lleras are hookers and the ones you got to watch yourself with. babylon maybe on thursday but fri/sat there are definitely better options

What do you recommend for Friday and Saturday? also wednesday night anything as well? also approaching day game in malls, tinder and IG , also the park in el pobablo would be good too right

Carrera 70 and Avenida 33 are two other nightlife streets for locals. Try Top Secret if you like underground electronic music.

yikes. Colombian girls are so sexy but my game style is very direct and pisses people off. In a dangerous place like Colombia feel like I'd get murdered. I hate adjusting my game style out of fear though and might just avoid it altogether.

Just have tact before you go approaching women on the street at night. That's all I am recommending.

You are already looked at by all the people as a gringo here to fuck their women.

Be able to feel out a situation and know what's going on. (situation awareness)

Do not take a drink from anyone. Watch your own drink. Do not get in a taxi with anyone.

You want to be safe and find nice local women but chosen the most gringo and whore ridden neighborhood in Colombia. Just trying to help you out so you make it back home.

Friday/sat every thing is packed so you have tons of options around lleras, la 70 and 33. I only go out with girls so not sure whats best for cold approach venues but I like places that I can get in free and have dirty regaton to grind to so usually vintrash thursdays, ruana de juana fridays, el deck saturdays. If your a drinker, bandito seas or babylon thursdays might be the easiest pull, and if your new to latin culture and have a group to go with I would recommend dulce jesus mio for a colombian experience

Ok thanks! also another question I am gringo from Florida... do you guys recommend bringing cash like $300-500 ahead of time and then using my bank card for atm?? I am just nervous of getting robbed or mugged so maybe only go out with like $50 at night.. Also how does uber work if my cell phone doesn't get any service I have ATT which i will bring for pictures but what about communicating with girls via whats app or instagram

Yeah, that's your best bet. I was there for two months and never got bothered, even though I'm a tall blonde gringo. I wore nothing shiny that would attract attention: no jewelry, no watch, no phone in public. Simple dark t-shirts and jeans and white sneaks.

At night, go out with $50 and a photocopy of your passport. That's all you need. Maybe your phone too, but I did pretty well without it. Keep an extra $20 in your shoe or sock just in case but honestly if you're not stupid you shouldn't have any problems.

I would absolutely avoid Lleras. It's 50 to 75 percent prepagos Thu/Fri/Sat night. Much more authentic is La 33 or La 70. I lived right near both and used to hit up some of those clubs pretty regularly. That said, however, night game in Medellin is not so great -- there's not a lot of civil trust, thanks to Escobar and the civil war twenty-five years ago, so people don't mix very easily. They sit in tight circles. I had way more luck with online game.

Day approaches are not as dangerous as you might've been led to believe, but Linux is right -- just have situational awareness, and only approach the girls who give you a preapproved eyefuck. (If you've seen it, you know what I mean.) Pro tip: Focus on the hours from 4 pm to 6 pm when the professional girls are on public transport going home. I had a friend there who swooped regularly during that time. He was done with work at 4 pm himself, and he called it "happy hour" lol.

Don't use Uber. Use Easy Taxi. Me, I used to just pull the cabs off the street, or get my doorman to call them, or ask the host at a restaurant. Three months and no problems whatsoever.

Also, I forgot to mention above: DON'T GET DRUNK IN PUBLIC. That will make you a sitting duck for bad elements. One or two is fine, but keep the heavy drinking in private. It's a general rule in Latin America anyways; public drunkenness is viewed as more shameful than it is in America or England or Germany.

That said, I recommend Ron de Medellin! Cheap and good.

Ok good! Any particular spots 4-6 or for happy hour? I’m staying walking distance to Babylon... also ok random questions but since I have att and am from Florida with iPhone what do I do buy a phone down there ? How can I meet girls text or what’s app ??

Maybe better off not getting a cell plan but problem is texting women or meeting them will be hard
