Hey, I'm looking for cities to go to this year as a digital nomad. Basically cool quiet cities with quality of life and cheap. Easy women is a nice +.

- Chiang Mai -> good
- Danang -> tons of construction : NO
- Bali -> very hot climate, not sure it's good bang for the buck honestly

Other alternatives? Not really interested in huge shitholes like HCMC or Manila, quality of life is important to me.

If you want cheap and good quality then you are looking at Asia and maybe South America. I've stayed in a lot of countries in EE and some in Asia. In EE although the standards of living may not be so high decent entry level private appartments will be at least $15,. But more like $20. If you want a pool and or gym and something plush then you are looking at $50 per night.

In Asia I have seen decent appartments with a pool for $10 per night. I stayed in probably one of the most exclusive roads in one country with a pool and gym for $20.

Not been to South America, but seen decent appartments with a pool for $20 per night. That's obviously with the added danger of the country.

These are all private.

For next spring iM looking at SEA because of the prices and quality.

Yeah I'm not a digital nomad but I want to spend at least half a year in SEA. Probably split it with 2 months in 3 different spots or something.
