Quote: The Texas man at the center of a heated national case about the distribution of 3D-printing gun blueprints was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile girl, according to an affidavit obtained by CBS News.

Police say they received a call on Aug. 22 from an adult described as a counselor, who said her client, a juvenile, had told her she had sex with a 30-year-old man. The girl, who is described as under the age of 17, later identified that man as Cody Wilson, according to the Austin Police affidavit. The girl allegedly said Wilson paid her $500 for sex after they met on the website sugardaddymeet.com.

Wilson gained notoriety after attorneys general in 19 states and the District of Columbia sued to prevent his company, Defense Distributed, from posting blueprints on how to make 3D-printed guns on its website. The lawsuit followed a June settlement reached between the company and the U.S. government, allowing Defense Distributed to make the blueprints public. In 2013, Wilson became the first person to fire a bullet successfully from a home-printed 3D gun.

In an August interview with CBS News, Wilson said he has sold "many hundreds" and "probably in the thousands" of the blueprints.

According to the affidavit, the girl said when she first communicated with Wilson online, he used the screen name "Sanjuro," but identified himself as "Cody Wilson," and "described himself as a 'big deal.'"

The girl said she researched Wilson online and saw recent news reports about him. They later agreed to meet at a cafe parking lot on Aug. 15, she said. In her interview, the girl said Wilson picked her up in a black Ford Edge and drove her to the Archer hotel in Austin. A detective later determined that a black Ford Edge with the vanity plate "B00150T" is registered to Defense Distributed. The detective wrote that hotel valet surveillance video recorded the girl and Wilson exiting that vehicle at 8:35 p.m. on Aug. 15.

The detective wrote that surveillance video showed the girl and Wilson exiting a hotel elevator two minutes later and walking toward a seventh floor guest room that hotel records indicate was paid for by Wilson that night.

The girl said inside the room she and Wilson engaged in intercourse and oral sex, before Wilson paid her in five $100 bills. Hotel surveillance allegedly shows Wilson and the girl returning to the elevator at 9:19 p.m.

In her interview, the girl said Wilson then drove her to a Whataburger restaurant. The detective wrote that surveillance video from the Whataburger shows what appears to be the same black Ford Edge pulling into the parking lot at 10:02 p.m.

A warrant for Wilson's arrest orders him held on $150,000 bond. He was also ordered to surrender his passport. The detective also sought and was granted a warrant to obtain photographic evidence of what he described as a "uniquely identifiable skin condition" on the suspect's upper legs.

What a crock of shit... this girl is signed up on a website that is supposed to be for 18+ only. In a fair and just world there should be no charges brought up here unless they have text evidence where she told him she was under 18 and he still went through with the transaction. In a fair and just world there would be some kind of charge brought up against the girl for impersonating a adult on a prostitution website.

It used to be that prostitution stings wouldn't go through with sex, but apparently those times are in the past. Whoever arranged this sting found a 17 year old girl, and trafficked her for full sexual intercourse, to collar their target.

Seems like that ought to be illegal.

It seems like guys who have a massive target on their backs should be more prudent when procuring the services of whores, such as going to a brothel in Vegas or hopping on a flight to a country where it’s legal. He should’ve also asked her to prove that she was above 18, again just another step to ensure that you don’t get caught up in an SJW witch hunt like this.

The article posted says the girl was under 17, Roosh, not 17. Under 17 is illegal in Texas. Even if she was of age, if you're going to be paying escorts, a.k.a., prostitutes, you should expect that you may have problems in your life that you wouldn't have to deal with otherwise.

This is a clear case of "If you play in the mud, you're going to get dirty."

Also, who has sex with a hooker that's 16 or less? That's really, really messed up. Having sex with a hooker is bad enough, not my cup of tea, and if you're disabled or something, who am I to judge, but an underage hooker, 16 or less? That's really, really messed up.

She wouldn't have admitted to being under 18. That's not how these stings work. It's the same with stings to buy booze or cigarettes without ID.

That being said, if you're going to hire an escort or get a sugar baby, it's best to err on the side of caution and shoot for someone who looks obviously 19 or more. Or better yet, learn game and don't pay for it at all.

Heck, even then, if these guys wanted to take him out, all they'd have to do is arrange for a 17 to meet him through Tinder, and then still let her fuck him, and come in for the statutory rape charge afterwards.

I'll point out again these people running the sting really shouldn't be recruiting 17 year olds and sending them to fuck people that they want to sting. That's under age sex trafficking.

Hookers aren't my cup of tea either but if you're high profile having a good hooker you trust is a lot lest risky than smashing a new girl off the net every few weeks. This site is probably not the place to find that though - it's just higher value random girl off the street.

I would like to humbly suggest that the title of this thread be changed to "Another example of how the United States is already a de-facto police state".

Because guys, these kind of stings happen every day, a hundred times a day, across the USA. There is absolutely nothing new or special about this guy getting entrapped, except it happened to be interesting enough that the press reported it.

This happens all the time. You just don't know it's happening because it's not being reported, because the people reporting don't want anybody to know about it. And anyway, the average American citizen is now a bloodthirsty Feminist hater who wants to see their fellow citizens (especially men) do jail time.

The United States is 100% in the grips of prosecutors and judges and hateful lesbian cops who are out of control. Nobody is limiting or controlling their power in any way. The can do anything they want to white males.

They can steal your cash and never give it back, using it to pay themselves bonuses. It's called civil forfeiture and it's unstoppable.

They can set up stings to arrest otherwise honest men by having 16 year old girls pretend to be 18. There is no defense. No judge will save you...the judges are lesbians who want to destroy men, or they are getting payoffs from the other lawyers.

You will not get a trial. Nobody gets trials any more. Your friends and family won't mourn you. They don't care.

It's not just a blip or a trend. It is full-on police state and it's accelerating. The Unites States system of laws has been corrupted and it's not going to get better.

This has SETUP written all over it. It could have been avoided if he took the opportunity to card the girl. Do underaged hookers routinely dox their johns? Seem like she had help.

On the other hand, some if not most jurisdictions have a "reasonable steps" defense to stat rape charges. So there she was on an adults only web site, so what was he going to think? I have a niece and I walked her to school one day. I briefly met some of her "little friends" and holy shit! I could obviously tell from the context, their clothes and their mannerisms that they were 13,. However, at 5'7" with big tits, all it would take is a slight makeover and a different venue and they could have passed for college girls.
