Will do a 1 month trip to EE in November, how are the hostels there in this time of the year? Are the party hostels still legit during this time?

I’ve heard they are rather empty. And cold. Bring a blanket. Even In Western European cities like Barcelona. Great if you want a cheap dorm all to yourself so you can sightsee. Then maybe come back in summer just to party.

Worked in a party hostel in Tallinn for years. Tended to be full every weekend, but empty midweek. Also more groups than usual. On the plus, prices are lower and you might have a private room for dorm prices. Nightlife in the cities itself does not change that much.

I have a leftish friend who is an expert in travelling in Eastern Europe and he always goes to cheap (shitty) hostels and brags how much he saves on them there right at that time in Novemberg when it's not tourist season. But he always talks about meeting people in these hostels though so I assume they're full, at least in the bigger cities.

But I don't get why you would take a hostel there when it's so cheap anyway to get a 3-5 star hotel if you just book in advance or use hotwire.com or take an AirBnb.

Yea, I think there are more groups cause is NZ and Australia school vacation, so they all go together in a eurotrip.

Do you think that getting laid is harder for the average guy in November rather than August or July.

Yeah, I think for more experienced people, daygame is the thing to do in these places.

I do best when going solo. I'm not big into night game, as I don't drink, so day game or online. I'm not big into meeting other tourists, so I just run Confused Tourist Game, and chat up girls

I do best when going solo. I'm not big into night game, as I don't drink, so day game or online. I'm not big into meeting other tourists, so I just run Confused Tourist Game, and chat up girls

Or at least, more fun to go out at night.

All the universities are back in school, there are generally less drunken stag parties and foreigners hitting on anything that moves. It's also typically before exam season starts in these places.

You might be pleasantly surprised what you find out on random weeknights at some of the student type places.

Get an AirBNB. At this time of the year it should be the same price as a private hostel room.

Well, depends on what your objective is. Probably if you wanna get better results you should start going to places locals go and move around those places at night while trying to day game during the day. You will probably be more sucessful if you also try to hit the places students go. November still a good month for that. I think in comparison to August and July is more of logistics. August is the best month because you have the loca girls, the students coming over for the new semester plus still tourist which makes easier to find girls. I am just saying you will need better logistics in November, but still quite doable.

Probably if you wanna get better results you should start going to places locals go and move around those places at night while trying to day game during the day. I do both...sort of. I tended to notice that some of hottest coed backpacker girls ended up at hostels instead of hotels. I started just following them around and later discreetly getting a bed at the same place (preferably near my REAL place, airBnB, hotel or whatever.) I would socialize at the hostel as long as their were hotties around (the coolest guy at a hostel is always getting laid) and go back to my hotel when I want real privacy or comfort. The Hostels are so rock cheap, it's actual economical. I think of it as the cover charge of a very friendly and intimate lounge with a good vibe.

I wouldn't waste my money and stay in a hostel in EE during November.

What kind of girls would be there during that time, decent looking girls don't generally stay in places like that.

I can only imagine you are going to see a lot of annoying Aussie chicks.

Yep, although I will be in a round the world trip, so I have to be cheap in terms of locations.

Also have a distaste for aussie chicks, hope to see some english girls around.

Try Airbnb, some of the prices are comparable to dorms especially during low season. You might also get hooked up into the local scene this way.

I’m all for party hostels over Airbnb if you are traveling alone and don’t have friends in town. Definitely do a private and take a look at my hostel data sheet. I assume you aren’t going to EE in November to meet an average hostel girl, so make sure you have a way to get the local girls back into the hostel if you meet them. If you need to default to a hostel girl at the end of the night it’s not the end of the world, but to focus on them is a bad effort unless you are the best game at the hostel and good looking, and even them it’s not really worth the effort. Also, depending on the city, if the hostels are open to the public you may as well do Airbnb. Tallinn for instance the two best hostels both have public bars, so no point in restricting yourself. Same with Riga and Budapest.

If you have questions about specific cities and the best hostels, and which ones have public bars let me know.

Read some of the early books Roosh has written.

Location location location. Get a centrally located pad near the nightlife or the hotspots.

English money goes far in EE, so I don't imagine you run into many English girls in the hostels.

I am not saying that you will not find good looking girls at hostels, but the amount of girls travelling around in November is not as high at so to say August-July/December-January, so I'll suggest to not limit yourself to hostel game. In the case of having the luck fo being in a hostel with good looking girls, you hit the jackpot because also the competition will be low.
