Because men want companionship and intimacy beyond sex. Just look at this forum. Yes there are dudes trying to get their dicks wet but most guys want to find a girl that bring them a feeling of worth and validation. This is not wrong but just a gentle reminder of the constant stereotyping of men by society as sex obsessed physical beings. Same goes for women, they are not all emotion, they also have physical desires, which game constantly reminds men.

Whether it's lover, family, or friends, in life deep meaningful relationships are hard to find and develop. And it's getting harder as technology and globalization accelerate.

Combine this deep loneliness with sexual inexperience, social awkwardness, a society where you feel like a faceless number, and lack of meaningful relationships is why people are willing to pay so much. In a way it's a desperate move, a blind stab into the darkness to try and grasp onto something, anything.

On the other side these women are taking advantage of the market opportunities provided by this need. They are very practical and you can't really blame them either. At least they know exactly what they want, although it's probably something that was programmed into them by society and not self developed.

As for me I'd rather rub one out and play video games than spend any time with women like this. Total boner killer for me unless I'm wasted or something. Game is only worth it for me when I am interacting with a woman who is mirroring my energy. In fact sex is only the culmination of the connection, however temporary. Yes even extremely visceral purely physical 5min club meet to bang can be mirrored if both people are on the same energy level. I can't help but think that being a Chinese in current age is miserable for most Chinese. Just imagine - your party is communist, your streets are monitored with face recognition software cameras, everything you do affects your citizen score so cannot be care free, your internet is censored, your writing requires 100 times more learning then in west, your stature is small, your hockey team sucks, your air is polluted, your dick is small, your martial arts are fake, your women swoon for white guys, your apartments are small, your working hours are long, your real estate prices put you in lifetime debt, you cannot marry without going in this debt, your real estate is never maintained and renovated, all your women have small asses and small tits, all you ever eat is rice, all your words translate as either a dragon or a tiger of some color or temperament, and you all look alike and are generic as a copy pasted video game basic enemy. All that and you have high IQ to understand all these problems and cannot ignore them by being stupid.

The Chinese have seen amazing improvements in life quality and living standards in the last 30 years. China transitioned from third world poverty status to middle income country. The average income went from around $200 USD per year in 1990 to $10,000 USD per year today and it's still increasing by close to 10 percent year over year.

On the other hand, the rapid rise of income, urbanization and tech has undoubtedly disrupted the social structures, culture and traditional family values. Many people will be unable to adapt.

There is 33.5 million more men than women in china; I think the population of Australia is about 24 million.

This is a huge issue in China, imagine these guys work hard shit jobs, they contribute, hard construction work in their country. Contribute to the world so that cool hipsters can DIY their trendy flat pac kitchens, like they see on reality tv shows. And the west can buy cheap plastic shit they will throw away soon after.

But the thing is, someone, some group, country whatever is always going to be exploited. Id love for peoples to be equal, but there always has to be someone to do the shit jobs in this modern behemoth of a world we live in now.
