OK, it's well known around here that colleges persecute men for sexual assault using the most flimsy of evidence. It’s a long standing problem; while Betsy DeVos has allowed colleges to have reasonable investigations about alleged college abuse without being threatened to lose federal funds, colleges continue to have some pretty ridiculous investigations.

Here’s one I haven’t seen yet: A kid gets raked through the coals for making out with a girl. They kept their clothes on. He didn’t get the bang. Despite this, they open up an investigation and threaten him with expulsion. I wish I was making this bullshit up.

You heard that tight. “James” (the names in this article are fictitious) had to pay $12,000 to defend himself from a baseless accusation where they didn’t even take off their clothes or have sex.

If you want sexual morals, you have men’s colleges and you have women’s colleges and you don’t let men mingle with women unless they are married to them.

But allowing a woman to start a full investigation for some light petting? Insane.

This is a weird thing for the attorney to say, and it took me some time to figure out why he said it: he's had previous clients who killed themselves over similar allegations. Damn.

1. Seen the boy leaving in a hurry probably a little red in the cheeks from embarrassment.
2. Noticed her hickeys.

Nowadays, the roommates play armchair psychoanalyst and convince her she was raped by a stalker-serial killer-collector of womens' clitorides.

My dad used to tell me stories about his youth living under communism and having to deal with the dating police. They were legit, they checked if you were dating and if you were "appropriate" with the girl. He had to write some letter of self-criticism and was disciplined for kissing some girl, because someone saw them together. I thought that was the worst thing ever! But he never had to pay $12,000 and be in fear of his life getting ruined. Young blokes at uni/college these days are so fucked.
