Hey guys quick question, How important if having an apt or house, within walking distance to nightlife? I know it is so much easier in regards to drinking and not driving and things to that nature but let's say you are a 10-15 minute uber away from the "Action" would that mess up your game if you have a girl or it really doesn't make too much of a difference?

It's fucking paramount. But, 10-15 minutes away is not insurmountable. I live 10-15 minutes away from the "action" and I get by just fine. Not to brag, but I do happen to be a veteran and pretty socially connected so that does help.

It still presents a bit of a challenge in regards to taking girls home the same night. I have lost many ONS due to unfavorable logistics. I would say if your goal is to inflate your notch count with the least amount of obstacles in the way, try to move as close to the "action" as possible.

I agree with JonVonStroke. It matters A LOT. Get it out of your system to experience it - don't go halfway. The problem is with greedy landlords if you want to rent in close proximity to the "hot" area, and the landlords know the area is hot. Spend the extra money and do it for a couple years until you feel like the landlords are truly raping you, then move the hell out. You want to be within a 5 minute WALK to the action...not 10-15-20, or where you have to continuously drive and park. Do NOT get enticed into a place that is a 10 minute drive or 10 minute walk through multiple sketchy intersections. Get IN the hot area or 5 minutes away.

It depends on the city. In Toronto a 10-15 minute drive away from a club is close. That won't impede your game at all, especially with Uber being readily available at any time. If you live in the suburbs, that's a problem. I could see being walking distance helpful if you like having the afterparty at your place but that's not my game.

If you're speaking specifically about when travelling...I would get a place right in the action if you can afford it.

I live a 5 min walk from some of the best venues in the city.

The value of being able to break up a night out to go back to my place for a couple drinks, then back to the bar after, should never be underestimated.

If you meet a girl at the bar, grab a small group and head upstairs to your dope pad for a couple cocktails, then head back; You are in, son.

It speeds up the seduction/comfort faster than any venue change ever will.

yea i kinda figured that, I just figured if a girl was feeling you then in her mind she kind of already knows if shes DTF that night and if its a 10 -15 min uber won't matter too much as opposed to a 5 min walk if you talked a ton in the club and both of you guys feel you know each other well enough to sleep/go home with you. I suppose it won't matter much if you meet women at the bar/clubs get there IG/Number than get them to your place 1st or 2nd date.

Depends on your type of game preference and the city/culture. I prefer to be closer to nice bars/restaurants for dates more so than good nightlife places. It's more convenient to be able to bring a girl back to my place after a date as opposed to nightlife. Although in the US when I lived right in the middle of the biggest nightlife area in Chicago I would have random girls I hooked up with before always hitting me up around 2AM simply because they were out partying near me and wanted to come over after.

It's not only the spatial distance, it's also psychological - getting into a car and going somewhere is a step in her mind which she has to take. Big potential for an ASD episode.
If you can walk to your place, it's seamless - no mental steps or jumps for her.

3. It's hard to replicate and maintain the club good vibes/energy and intensity once you get in the car. Particularly if you've been drinking and have to drive a good 10-15 minutes. You don't want to risk getting pulled over by a cop and totally humiliating yourself and potentially ruining your life due to a drunk driving incident. That 15-minute car ride back home can often be a cagey affair. You're trying to keep the girl entertained while simultaneously trying to drive carefully during the wee hours of the night—it's a bit of intimacy killer I would say.

Conclusion: Logistics matter. The quicker you can get a girl you've extracted from the club back to your lair, the less likely her pussy will dry up(due to the above reasons). Like I said earlier - you can overcome it though. I have done it countless times and you can too. With night game you're forced to contend with a lot as is: mother hens, white knights, smartphones, and so forth. Some things are out of your control, but unfavorable logistics can oftentimes be mitigated...

personal opinion with my work and such, I live in tampa now close to the action on howard ave literally 7 min walk, but have an opportunity to live In Miami, By north Beach / North Bay village area... And that is about a 15 min uber ( i don't drive at night) to South beach, wynwood and or downtown miami where the clubs are. I love living in Miami but the distance is what im concerned with as far as night game is concerned.. Miami does have more opportunities for beach game etc and also the hostels - tourists that travel alone at the clubs seem easy too but Tampa has UT and USF right here and college girls all around which most of them go in groups and are clingy (not saying you can't do it me also being 30 is another concern) ! ugh I dont know !

Also coming from a nightgame veteran this advice is SPOT ON.

I live a 15 minute WALK from the nightlife and only once have I walked back here with a girl. Its always in a taxi which takes 5 minutes or less.

I don't risk the girl walking in high heels saying her feet hurt, twisting her ankle on the cobblestone pavement here and losing motivation.... As stated 15 minutes is too big of a window.

5 minute WALK or 7 minute TAXI fellas is optimal fellas.

Outside of that is not impossible. Actually my last ONS was a 30 minute walk because she had her bike with her and I didn't have one. So we couldn't take a taxi and my logistics were SCREWED because I couldn't find a airbnb next to the action and had to get a hotel which required a drive (I was too wasted to drive)

The amount of song and dance I had to do in those 30 minutes on the way to her place was agonizing!!!!

But I pulled it off in the end.

Okay, maybe not for all guys, but for me I need to be in the action. Currently, I am about 30 minutes by Uber from downtown DC. I thought I'd be going out almost every weekend. However, I often find myself more content to just stay in on the couch.

When I lived in my frat house, all I had to do was walk downstairs and ... voila! women. It's that easy.

If you live in an area packed with nightlife you're always going to be motivated to go out.

good yes and age is just a myth you can be 30-40 -45 and still go out... you just have to adjust your schedule so your not tired at 930-10 and get your body used to it thats what im working on lol since im 30 but not wasting life in bed at 10 any one else struggle with that and getting your body used to staying up late this way when 10-1030 comes out your not ready to hit bed and still have 2-3 hours in you

I've been to both cities (Tampa & Miami / Miami Beach). I totally get the gist of your feelings here. I mean hands down the Miami area overall has the hotter sluts, no?

Tampa to me seems similar to a lot of other mid-sized American cities except that it happens to be in the sunbelt. I get that your logistics are better in Tampa & all but my oh my those mami's in Miami.....

I'm a lil surprised by the responses in this thread. I used to be die-hard stay right by the action kind of guy, but IME...

a) girls don't like to fuck close to the action, because of some psychological sense that they're being watched. when I stay in the outskirts of the "action" they feel more comfortable with sex because they're safe and not being judged
b) if, at a venue a girl has her mind set that she wants to fuck me, she's decided, and a 15-min car ride isn't going to change that. Not to mention you should always always fooling around with the girl in the car, keeping the energy high, if not straight up making out with her

This is all IME as my experience has grown, dunno about some guys in here ..
Know plenty of non-pickup guys IRL and a 15-min drive home is perfectly normal (especially in a city like LA..)

ok good, like for those that know Miami beach if i was to have a condo On north beach around 72nd and collins and party in south beach 5th and ocean, wynwood and downtown miami that would all be ok ? I can take uber's keep the sex energy high there your right if a girl is feeling you and most importantly LOOKING to have sex that night it is on either way. id say maximum 10 mins away is ideal, even better if your place is just 2-3 mins away to the bar. because the girls tend to flake or look for a excuse to pull away if it takes too long to get them to your place. id say its critical for night game, drunk girls specially

In a car-centric city, being able to say "it's just a five minute Uber away" and only be lying by five minutes is fine. In a walkable city, forget even that.

If you can't afford to be that close, at least scout out a neighborhood with a few decent venues in line-of-sight so that you can say "this place is getting boring, I'm going to another cool place and you're coming with me" and then be able to literally point and say "I'm right over here".

My first apartment was a shitbox that had barely been remodeled since Grant crushed Lee, but it was directly behind the college bars and two doors from a coffee shop. That was far more important than anything else in making it work.

When you are in your 20's it works in your favor to live in a place that is central, a bit 'rough' and has character.

I lived in the worst neighborhood in Canada for almost 9 years. It was built in 1911, served as a hospice for WW1 soldiers returning and had many 'ghosts' to chill me to the bones. The outside was nothing but a turn of the century wood and brick box.

But on the inside, I knew I had a gem. I ripped up the flooring to find clear fir hardwood. I pulled out the kitchen and re modeled it. Re worked the bathroom with its paw foot tub mid century tile work. The living room window, single pane and ice cold, looked over the old town with all its lights and bars and restaurants. The fire escape became mine, 400 sq feet with comfortable sofas and nice lighting. Stereo, BBQ and that killer view. It was a 2 bdrm and we payed $720 a month in the most expensive city in the country. After a few years, I booted the roommate and had the full 1500sqft to myself. This place, at this age (my early to mid 20's) had a better response from girls than when I first moved into my luxury high rise.

Most women love a diamond in the rough. When it comes to men and apartments, they tingle hard when they think of how special they will feel in the end, when all the work is done and they get to show off their unique apartment/man to all her friends, and they *gasp* at the transformation, giving her social accolades straight out of reality TV.

I have had the opportunity to live within minutes of major nightlife options in Miami, Downtown Orlando, DC, Charlotte, and Atlanta, and can say as a single man it's a must. You will pay more, but logistics is king.

Now, for a lot of people that get into this stuff, being able to go up to a girl and talk to her, have a normal conversation, etc. is probably the first challenge. That is to say, getting a girl back to the crib isn't really on the radar yet

But once you get past that point and have the potential to fuck girls, logistics/being close to where you meet girls can be make or break.

For example, this has happened to me many times - you meet a girl and you're into each other. She is worried because she can't find her friends. You say to her "let's get a drink" and take her to your place, which is within walking distance. Since you're so close, you have time to bang and by the time her friends start blowing up her phone, it's all good since you already smashed, and she can just go back to the venue (which is close)

^ Imagine you had to drive 15-20+ minutes - not happening most of the time unless she's totally down and her friends are not part of the equation (out alone - almost never happens, friends don't care, etc). And grabbing a number at night usually means you'll never hear from her again (unless you had a really good connection, you're one of a shit ton of guys she gave her number to that night. Not to mention she's probably drunk)

Living within walking distance also grants the possibility of banging multiple girls a night (e.g. go out, pull/bang one, repeat). In the Boracay, Philippines datasheet I posted here, I had at least two nights where I did that:

Also, like Shimmy said, if you live in a central location, girls might randomly message you when they're out/probably drunk. A 2am text that says "heyy what's up" can usually be interpreted as "I'm drunk, come give me the D". When you are in the middle of the action, you can actually capitalize on those kinds of opportunities
