I met a girl on a recent vacation and we hit it off. She presented herself as a good girl who wouldn't kiss on the first date and had a professional career. We went out on two dates and things escalated on the second date but not enough for me to bring her back to my hotel as she says she was traveling with her parents.

Anyway, we continue to talk over the phone and I was planning to fly out to see her but she gives me a by the way text message tonight that she is also an exotic dancer on the weekends. I played this off like it was no big deal but now am thinking about this more deeply.

One thing that has caught me off guard is I did not get this vibe from her at all and actually felt she was a little out of practice and even inexperienced in the escalation. So I am not sure how to take all this. This is the kind of woman who has been asking me a lot of questions that women ask for a would be boyfriend or even a marriage prospect.

My initial thoughts are to run from this situation because it has me rethinking and questioning everything. But am I being too hasty, what say all the wise gentlemen here on the board? What things should I be considering here and how would you feel about this if you were in my shoes?

She is a Mexican and so said it in Spanish as "bailarina exotica." She didn't elaborate further and I didn't think to ask as I thought she was joking at first. Honestly, I don't even know what the difference is between an exotic dancer and a stripper.

Agree with you on this. Whether or not I am speaking from experience I plead the 5th hahah. In any case the OP needs to try not to catch feelings even if he bangs the broad in the future. Might get quite a few bangs out of it. Could turn into a short term relationship or at least a mini LTR? But just be fucking cautious that's all. Guard your emotions by all means.

Honestly it depends on you and how much jealousy typically gets in your head, because in this case it will. There was a time in my life when I wouldn't care at all and would think of this as a unique score and a story to tell. Today I don't think I would go out in public with her, behind closed doors sure. So yea it's really all about your mindset, her job doesn't mean that she won't be faithful or anything

In certain US cities many strippers double as whores as well. Some cities where I know for sure this is the case include Detroit, Tampa & Miami. There are more as well.

Anything's possible, but it would be very hard to have a professional job in Mexico and work weekends as a stripper/prostitute. As soon as your coworkers/boss found out (and they would find out), you'd be un-promotable at best and fired at worst.

Yes, this makes a lot of sense seeing it in print. Like I said in the OP, I am now questioning everything about the encounter and wondering what other surprises would I be in store for if I continued things.

Don't know about Mexico but from my experience most of the strippers are not also whores on the side. The most beautiful ones don't really need that, the suckers who go to strips pay fortunes just to chat with them, and nurture the hope they will become their boyfriends. Whether whore or not, just don't invest much emotionally, and in any case you really don't seem much delighted with her personality considering your first post...

She is good to be fucked not to be dated.

Appart from the psichological (drama) aspects of it, dating strippers is a money drainer.

Their work evolves around guys saying how pretty they are and paying them drinks, and the ocasional looser who buys them gifts...So they will never be impressed with something you do, say, or pay. Unless you have a high bankroll, leave that to guys with money to spare on that.

Plenty of other girls around.
