I've seen a lot of stuff throughout the last few years saying that girls only go for the alpha guys, or guys with looks, money and status.

You also see so many guys saying that all women are hypergamous.

I can tell you for a 100% fact this is not true, because I have seen it with my own eyes.

These women that are exceptions usually fit into two categories:

- women who get with men they know they can control, have the final say over or won't leave them (because they know they can't do better). Although, I don't necessarily think that all of these women physically cheat on their man - but I believe that they at least talk frequently to other men

- women who are looking for something specific out of the man, and that man is willing to give it to them (could be a guy that romances them, wants to hang out with her and her friends, cooks for them, supports her emotionally if she has a stressful job, puts lots of effort into them, gives them marriage, gives them kids, a man with a stable job etc.)

The main theme is that the girl asks herself what she wants, places that above everything else, and she finds a man that fills those needs and wants.

These guys can be betas, not great looking, not rich, average guys socially - it doesn't matter. As long as he gives her what she is looking for - he passes the test.

The girls I've seen personally that this happens with are not over the hill either - one was in her early 20's and the other mid 20's. Both had good jobs and were fit, regular girls. Neither were feminists or SJW's.

Now, I can't see any red pill guy who values himself and his independence being in a relationship with these types of women, but it's still worth pointing out this type of woman exists.

I know personally for myself, after I met one of these types of women, it took me at least a year or two to figure her out from afar because she didn't fit the behaviors of any woman I'd ever met before.

That is a pretty optimistic view of the sex life of a married beta. Studies have suggested that it's anywhere from once a week (optimistic) to once a month for the majority of married couples.

On the other hand, my anecdotal experience with married women has been that once they find an exciting outside partner, they'll drop by his place to bang him 2-8 times a day if they can get away with it, even while scouting new partners.

No matter how hot she is and how eager her beta husband might be, once she loses respect for him, she will always be grossed out by sex with him and find ways to avoid it. The first test is commonly when she tries to stop sucking dick.

Here my thought about the hypergamy .
It is the women desire to partner or fuck the best option available for her. This desire doesn't always mean she will act on .Also, hypergamy serves woman self-interest .
A post-wall woman will choose a partner ready to settle over an alpha because this serves her self-interest at this age. In this situation, you might think hypergamy is not in effect while it is actually. Woman self-interest is part of hypergamy and her dependence on the male for better life,...

I've even seen it play out that the friends are losers or super conservative/controlling (it can even be her mum or her sisters), and they don't like the alpha because he seems unpredictable or confident to them or even a threat to take her away from them, so the girl chooses the beta because the risk of getting with the alpha and it not working out would mean a potential 'told you so' moment from her friends and a potential falling out during the relationship and no support in the break up. Some girls aren't strong enough to cope with that and stand on their own two feet.

You got make your girl comfortable .The balance is the key.If she called an alpha complaining about something serious, he might listen to her, why not. I think that a man can be alpha in some areas of his life, personality, social interactions and be beta in others, and that it can vary over time and in different situations. Although there is some thruth in this narrative, I doubt that we can classify men in two archetypes as people seem to think on this forum. This is pseudoscience. Sometimes people seem to think that alpha/beta in humans is the same as in a pack of wolves or gorillas.

I've seen in my life some chads who appeared very "alpha" from the outside that were being dominated by their LTR and also the opposite. Who knows how a said guy will truly interact with a woman in a daily basis?

When Roosh and most of the guys on this forum talk about hypergamy, being dominant, status etc. They are referring to what a very attractive woman values, or at least, a woman that is more attractive than they are.

An average woman will obviously settle for an average man with a good job, and will probably never catch the eye of Chad, even for a one night stand.

It's when women start having above average bodies and facial features, that they can seek out the top guys, and look to screw over betas. Lets face it guys, an average woman is so incredibly easy to manage--we just don't want them.

It's all about beauty.

Truly beautiful women can get almost anything they want, and they're the ones that need to be gamed, they're the ones that seek something special in a man.

Alpha, looks, money and status are not required, but they have become more important.

Before smart phones, you might pick one off because of proximity, convenience, or any of the random factors mentioned above.

These days, its a lot more discrete for a woman to bang a random on tinder than settle for some guy on the fringe of her social circle.

The more you can develop confidence, the appearance of status, provide value, and flip attraction switches, the better you are. Its just playing the odds.

When I made this post - I was referring to some women, not the majority of women.

In general, the most fool proof strategy for dating, casual and LTR, is increase your value (and the number or quality of women you make yourself available or give yourself access to).

Yes, women do respond positively the most to a guy who is good looking, is successful, carries himself well with confidence, can talk well socially etc.

But, some women do just focus on what they want themselves, or what makes them comfortable, instead of what the guy offers from an external value point of view.

If you come across a woman like this and it doesn't make sense with the guy she chooses, this is probably the reason why.

Exactly. And, unless you are making a study of it, a passing glance at a couple tells you next to nothing about their relationship. I personally know three "heterosexual" couples, wherein the man is actually a closeted gay guy. And, what's the other common factor of the relationships? The women are very attractive and, functionally, asexual. They do not want to have sex - not with their husbands, not with anyone. So, the men take care of their needs on their own (very quiet) terms, and the women get the public face of a happy marriage.

It is always worth remembering that both men and women often develop very deep love towards their pet dogs, cats, etc, often much deeper love than they feel towards other humans, though usually not sexual love, and these dogs/cats are often pretty sad-looking specimens of their species. THIS was my own experience. Ex-wife stopped giving BJs and sex was a few times a year. Also only missionary as doggie suddenly was 'demeaning'.
I allowed her to take away my balls and this was the consequence. I will never let this happen again.
My other married friends also don't get much action after a few years (and definitely not after kids).
