He should be suing online dating service providers such as Plenty of Fist for age discrimination. They have an algorithm that will block your ability to contact others using age as a criterion.

If a user is looking for someone in a certain age range then let it be up to the user to decide and set their search profile accordingly. For the company to take a blanket approach an impose on users without consent is wrong and possibly illegal under EU law.

I saw this story the other day and hoped someone would create a thread. When you read his reasoning, you think 'why the hell not?'. In light of everything else going on, what he says makes perfect sense;

You can lie about your age pretty much anywhere except on government forms and in court. AFAIK, employers are not allowed to ask your age (with cops and military being exceptions). Lying to chicks about your age is fine if you stick to script and get away with it although there is a narrow segment who will consider it "rape".

The beauty of this troll is to force the government to consider how far they will indulge people's delusions and false reality for administrative purposes. There was a guy who changed his gender to get cheaper car insurance. So what about changing your gender or race to qualify for affirmative action programs in employment or scholarships? Mucking with age has a few effects because there are certain youth programs and of course social security.

Just think of all the money you could save. When going camping, claim the Elder discount. Ka-ching! When signing up for health insurance or life insurance, claim to be 20 years old and get 1/3 the rates. Ka-ching!

For that matter, sign up for life insurance at the 20 year old rate when you are 90. When you drop dead finally, your kids get a bundle.
