Hey guys.

A client of mine wants to go on a backpacking adventure, love tourist style. Last year I took a guy for two weeks to Thailand. We mostly went for Euro girls on Vacation, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, France, etc. I found most of the Islands were pretty good for this, with crowded beaches and lots of women, like Koh Phangan before the full moon.

Do you guys know if Bali is good for beach, daygame?

I am in my 40's and just not into loud clubs but love daygame. But this is a client and I need to be able to meet lots.

For example, Khao San road was great for helping him overcome AA, because he could still go direct, and a lot of patio, restaurant game. Unlimited options. Phi Phi is good for nightlife even if it's a shithole because there are just so many damn women. But the problem was everyone is there for one night only.

BTW I don't find Thai women particularly attractive. I'd take him to Vietnam as the women are way more beautiful but not many good looking euro babes.

We would go to Europe but it's winter, not good for DG. Meeting girls in day and then going out with them at night.

So how is Bali for this?

Beaches in Bali are no good. Kuta is loaded with Australians, Nusa Dua is terrible.

You do have lots and lots of tourists though from Ubud to Kuta to Nusa Dua to Semanyak.

Great lounge style places to go out that are not loud clubs but very stylish.

Thing about Bali is getting around. There's malls you can day game.

All this applies to many parts of Thailand. I'd say Thailand is more usefriendly and for beginners, Bali is more for those willing to take on a challenge.

Yeah since he's a coaching client perhaps the tried and true Thailand is better. Then i can go off to Bali or the Phils after for myself. The other option is Colombia but I don't think it's great if you don't speak Spanish. Not sure about talent levels either.

I can't see how the Bali beaches cannot be great. It's a world renowned surf spot isn't it?

Well Thailand is easier for sure. Whilst the mellow spiritual chill out music in Bali is pleasant the spiritual vibe may not be conducive to what you have in mind.

The beaches I compare to the picture perfect turquoise waters and white sands I have here in the Caribbean, so I have seen nothing in Bali that even comes close. Yes, they have surfing, but what I saw from Kuta beach and Nusa Dua beaches did not fill me with joy.

It may be winter in Europe, but it’s also wet season in Bali this time of year. The last couple of times I’ve been in wet season the weather has been horrible with the streets flooded and the beaches trashed. The vibe of the place just couldn’t compare to Thailand in December-February (their dry season). I’d definitely go to Thailand for that reason, and it’s definitely got more variety and filled with more tourists as well.

Thailand is probably the better option. I've just been there so many darn times. The things I do for clients. If Thai women were hotter it would be poosy paradise. I don't know any other countries that are as cheap, with as many hot tourist women, and nice beaches mixed with high urban density urban centres with a good mix of attractive locals and tourists. I'm talking about for escaping winter months anyway.

Maybe Mexico is an option.

1. Bali is better for meeting girls for an LTR, where in Thailand you're more likely to hook up with skanks for ONSs.

2. Bali is a great place to live and a so-so place to visit, but it's hard to appreciate if you don't know anyone. The beaches aren't that great, but it's FULL of insanely hot models (unfortunately lots of good looking losers there too) and everyone parties all the time there because there's not much else to do than surf and hook up. (The locals are VERY hedonistic.) If you know people, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet girls, but most of the time, the really good looking people are at house parties and chilling out. Everyone in Bali goes up to BKK to party in the crazy, all night clubs and hookers kind of way.

3. Part of the reason why Bali's a much more mellow atmosphere than Thailand ; Very hard to get drugs in Bali and the police don't fuck around ever since that Amokrane Sabet thing, so there's pretty much alcohol and that's it (you can buy Adderall OTC and people snort the stuff - why I have no idea).

bali is worth a visit but is massively overrated, obviously if you want women go to Thailand, but if you're just interested in travel check out Lombok although they had a massive earthquake there recently and I'm not sure how well they've recovered.

It's true... I wasn't at the counter, but I was in front of the pharmacy.

I've met a lot of guys in "internet marketing" (whatever the hell that is) seem to live in Bali and come up to BKK pretty regularly. They claim to work from Bali. A lot of DJs live in Bali and travel throughout Asia too.

It's probably not legal but laws are just guidelines in places like Bali. I've never tried but I'd be very surprised if you can't get whatever you want from a pharmacy with a little perseverance and creativity. That's the case anyway in neighboring similarly corrupt and poor countries like Thailand and the Philippines so I can't imagine Indonesia is much different.
