French author, 50, says women over 50 are too old to love

Yann Moix, 50, told a glossy magazine: “Come on now, let’s not exaggerate! That’s not possible … too, too old.”

In the interview with Marie-Claire magazine’s French edition, Moix, the author of several prize-winning novels, added that women in their 50s were “invisible” to him.

“I prefer younger women’s bodies, that’s all. End of. The body of a 25-year-old woman is extraordinary. The body of a woman of 50 is not extraordinary at all,” he said, adding that he preferred to date Asian women, particularly Koreans, Chinese and Japanese.

“It’s perhaps sad and reductive for the women I go out with but the Asian type is sufficiently rich, large and infinite for me not to be ashamed.”

Moix has won several literary prizes including the prestigious Prix Goncourt for a first novel and the Prix François Mauriac from the Académie Française for his 1996 debut work Jubilations Vers le Ciel, has directed three films and is the host of a popular TV talkshow.

His comments caused outrage on social media.

The journalist and writer Colombe Schneck, aged 52, published a photo of a backside on her Instagram account. “Voila, the buttocks of a woman aged 52…what an imbecile you are, you don’t know what you’re missing, you and your tiny, paunchy brain.”

Feminist author Mona Chollet said Moix was a “sad sire”, while Laura Hulley, from the political section of the British Embassy in Paris, tweeted: “Happy new year, sexists everywhere!”

Former first lady Valerie Trierweiler tweeted here about Moix in the context of the fourth anniversary of the terrorist attack on satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.

French MP Olivia Gregoire, a spokeswoman for Macron’s La République en Marche (LREM) party, tweeted: “Very classy Yann Moix. Very very classy. But like stupidity and vulgarity have no age, it’s reassuring in his case as I doubt many women want (these qualities).”

Forget the body. Forget the face. Yes, I just did write both those things.

The biggest problem with older women is their minds and, by extension, personalities. The ones still single after about 40 generally seem to feel the need to be in authority and tell you what you should be thinking.

This kind of personality works for two things. 1). When you're a schoolboy and they're your teachers and 2). When you're a younger guy looking for sexual adventures and they're your teachers.

But once you're a bit older and established, this type of female personality is off-putting and/or infuriating...no matter how good they look.

And this is a major reason why older men take to younger women. You can have discussions without being called "misogynist" or any other cliched buzzwords. You can enjoy a burger without a lecture. You can listen to your old Beastie Boys records without getting scolded for "sexism." You can talk about the president with some nuance and not get called names. You can actually have an open exchange of ideas with younger women.

Some men in America are able to put up with the type of older woman I'm describing. "She's the boss, hyuk hyuk hyuk!" But I have no patience for the "I have the pussy, so I make the rules" way of life.

The problem with older women in America is that too many of them think their mere presence requires some form of submission among men. It doesn't.

As I've written before: Unless you're wearing a badge or holding a gavel, don't expect me to bow down to authority just because you exist.

It''s technically also more dangerous to be with older women. The women in her 30s or 40s might have baby rabies. The 50 year old has probably been dicked so much that she probably has at least one incurable STD by now.

I'm French, nothing enrages French women more than being told they are old are ugly. I remember one time I had an altercation with a French milf over something that was her fault, but she kept being a cunt. Told her in front of her teenage daughter she'd better behave better as she's too old and unfuckable now, nobody desires her. Then I left and turned my back on her without giving her the time to argue. She let go a delicious cry of anger and despair.

My uncle (who is over 60) tells me every time I meet him, he cannot stand women over 45 because they smell "weird".

I have no idea if it is true, I have no tendency towards gerontophilia.

When women hit menopause their natural fertile scent disappears. Just like when fruit starts to rot.
Men get this too...but at a much, MUCH later age.
