I would Imagine that Jobs' wife is richer.

Kudos to Mrs Bezos, she bore him four children and kept her body in shape, staying attractive well into her middle age. In the official Amazon mythologies, she supported her husband's exit from comfortable salaried jobs and into the uncertain startup world. She deserves credit for that.

She seems to have chopped of her hair sometime in the last year, which is always a sign of the end of a marriage.

Jeff Bezos is worth $127 billion. I agree a wife that is supportive from her husband's youth up through middle age deserves a good divorce settlement, especially if he is leaving her for a younger woman. However, she doesn't deserve half his fortune as has happen in several high profile cases with rich men. She didn't earn half that money.

In a case like this, she should get a few billion, which is enough to live absolutely the highest possible jet set lifestyle, and still give away tons of money to various charities. She should not receive so much of his money that his fortune is dismantled.

Well if she gets half then it would probably be mainly in Amazon stock. Unless somehow she gets a Demigod lawyer who forces Bezos to pay her in cash (which means he would have to crash the price of Amazon stock lol - would be lulzy to see a booming company go stagnate and decline over a sole woman).

This is one of those situations where legal proceedings are completely unnecessary.
As much of a globalist sellout that Bezos is, his wife was with him for 25 years, well before the cash, and gave him four kids. He's going to take good care of her and the kids to the end of days. Even 1% is a ridiculous sum...

Tell me again how she "bore" him four children. The two on the left are probably Jeff's since they seem to have the same unfortunate genetics as he does, but that kid on the right looks like it had the same father as the one in the middle. And there's no way she "raised" these four kids in the sense of ever having to wash a dirty kid's ass for herself or wash the kids' clothes, that's fucking maids doing all that. She's a "novelist", i.e. someone with a shitload of free time on her hands. And she asked him out.

Either way, this divorce is never going to court. Jeff would have to answer to the fact he's been found to have lied to Federal Courts in the past, that shit is gold for divorce lawyers.

The daughter was adopted from China. All three boys are his.

25 years is respectible for a marriage length. She carried his whiny ass through the dotcom start up probably cooking, cleaning, a few pregnancies, and being the sole bread winner while his paycheck was uncertain.

She upheld her end of the bargain while Jeffrey didn't. She deserves half.

Sounds like it was amicable from what I was reading, they both said that if asked to do it all over again, they would.

Both are gonna be okay after the divorce settlement.
