For us young guys a lot of these places are still pussy paradises.

I see early 2000s were a good time for Asia and Eastern Europe well I’m sure men who went there in the 1990s would scoff at that idea. Men who went there in the 1980s would say the same as well.

I don’t know how it was pre smart phone but when I started going to Asia a couple of years ago, it was easier than anything I of realistically dreamed up.

I think that these days in Ukraine you need an edge over the marauding hoards. Just turning up being foreign, good looking, and having some money in your pocket isn't enough anymore. If you're planning on living there, then you need a strategy which is not drinking all day and night and trying to get ONS from clubs.

Many of them want to go and work in Europe - so set up a company hooking up Ukrainians with work in EU
Many want to be models or dancers - Set up a an agency
They need to know good English to be employable in EU - be a private tutor
Tell them you have a fashion company and you can get them discounted clothing from EU

Give them a reason to be with a guy that's old enough to be their father.

As a young man in the 80's, I recall talking to truck drivers, who were doing long range runs, to countries that were then described as "Iron Curtain". There was no talk of women, probably because these guys had a schedule to keep, but they discussed things like restaurants, and certain consumer goods, and how much they were able to obtain/do by using dollars instead of local currencies. It makes me wonder what other aspects of life, such as PUA, would have been like then for a well turned out Anglo guy, on a good wage.

If you mean ease of lays, that varies a lot not only by era but also geographically and of course per what the individual brings to the table. For me the paradise angle had as much to do with the mutual curiosity factor, pre-Google, where neither side knew too much about the other without serious research. I miss those days.

In addition to the smartphone, an early canary in the coal mine for all of the aforementioned places was the arrival and eventual flourishing of unusual body piercings and multiple tattoos all over women. Tats on women were very rare in the west and unheard of in Asia till about the late 90s. Even then it took a while to catch on since most women still didn't want to look like whores. Actual hookers on the streets of Asia in 1996 looked prim & proper compared to the average "non-prostitute" woman painted like a subway underpass nowadays. The hookers of old probably had lower notch counts too. It's a sad inversion of reality.

I have to agree 100% with Hypno and Atlanta Man. Buckhead Village was like a little Bourbon Street. I moved to Atlanta in 1996 and got laid my first night out in Buckhead, which was my second night in town. I knew I was in a pussy paradise, unfortunately short-lived. After Lewis got away with murder, the thugs came out and people were getting shot and murdered there in 2000. Yes, they cut back the closing times for bars from 4:00 to 2:00, then later extended to 2:30. Buckhead Villiage has been bulldozed down and replaced with something that resembles Beverly Hills. What's left in Buckhead moved up Peachtree and is tame in comparison.

I went to Ukraine my first time in 2004 and have to agree 100% with Eddie Morra. It was super easy. Most girls didn't have jobs. I had girls calling me, and more girls to date than time to take them out. On one day I had 4 dates because there were so many. That's how good it was. The quality was super high and I had several beauties interested in me. I went back to Kiev again in Dec 2005 and the economy had improved in the preceding 18 months. Girls had jobs and flaked, and I actually had days without dates. I went back in 2006, it was even worse. I had to take out 18 girls to get my first lay. I lived in Ukraine that year and had a very pretty Ukrainian girlfriend in Kharkov and was able to have other girls too. Nice to hear an opinion of someone who was also here Pre-Orange Revolution. I know the country's been through a lot since. I've actually lived here through it all. The reason I said Pre-Orange Revolution was that quite a few things happenned within 4 years of it when combined with the advances in Tech, social media platforms, airbnb, budget airlines etc. during that same period, had a huge effect on the place in such a short timespan. Not that it was any type of paradise before then, except for the women of course other than that it was pretty rough actually, especially compared to now....

You could even argue that people tend to claim that their first trip someplace where they smashed it, had a great time etc. was the best time to be there. Then they end up going back subsequent times and it's like the law of diminishing returns. People and places do change and that's a part of life...

I still stand by my statement that Ukraine was as close to pussy paradise as anywhere could be before 2005, Pre-Orange Revolution. I had actually backed up my claim with facts.

I went to Ukraine my first time in 2004 and have to agree 100% with Eddie Morra. It was super easy. Most girls didn't have jobs. I had girls calling me, and more girls to date than time to take them out. On one day I had 4 dates because there were so many. That's how good it was. The quality was super high and I had several beauties interested in me. I went back to Kiev again in Dec 2005 and the economy had improved in the preceding 18 months. Girls had jobs and flaked, and I actually had days without dates. I went back in 2006, it was even worse. I had to take out 18 girls to get my first lay. I lived in Ukraine that year and had a very pretty Ukrainian girlfriend in Kharkov and was able to have other girls too. I haven't been back since, but I have heard from people who've been there since that after the economic collapse that things are good again there. I hope to get back next year to see for myself.

Yes, there were no smartphones in 2004. Girls weren't actively trolling the internet then for sponsors. They had to meet men in person. You needed a Visa to go to the Ukraine then and their were no discount airlines flying to Ukraine. So if you were on the ground, you had the girls. Age didn't matter. Older in many ways was better because they saw you as established, stable, and having money. I could go on, but I remember Emailing home that "I'm dating my first 10 and she is half my age."

I had similar results in 2010-14, could have countless dates per day.

Cheaper prices means any scumbag can fork out 10 euros for a ryanair flight.
Nightlife has taken a swandive(it was never that great) because people don't have the disposable income for such things, men and women.

I once met an old Dutch man.
