College really is worse than drugs nowadays. If these are state-run colleges, then our tax money is helping rip families apart. A bunch of said families have formed an online support group.

It seems doctors are diagnosing “rapid onset gender dysphoria” at record rates. That needs a full investigation for sure.

The below is probably the most disturbing as the daughter sounded like a wife in the making before the incident. The only potential mistake was letting her hang out with the activist crowd in high school.

Before we knew what had hit us, she returned to her college. We discovered that she had obtained testosterone in the student clinic. And, she refused all contact with her family.

Her college was complicit in all of this.

It sounds very cult like with the whole severing of ties. Jonestown U for sure and yet people go into debt for that kool aid. Just send your kid to trade school instead.

It is really is quite disturbing and these cultural shifts happening now will have long term consequences, I really do hope it doesn't get to the point where traditional masculinity and feminity become "obsolete" and taboo... The irony in all of these Social justice movements is that they are trying to "empower" women yet they end up even more depressed and bitter than they were before when they realize EVEN LESS men are attracted to them in their degenerate hybrid gender states.

What I would like to know:

1: Who and how are all of these procedures and treatments being paid for?

2: Why does the daughter here seem to have absolutely no problem or issue getting the money for the treatments and procedures, meanwhile other people with all kinds of medical and health problems are left to suffer because they can't afford any health care and no one seems to care about helping them?

As few examples of people that I know with medical problems having problems paying:

A: A friend in his early 70s had to pay out of pocket several hundred dollars for a hearing aid in order to be able to hear at a level to be able to carry on a conversation or listen to tv.
B: Another friend had to pay several hundred dollars for dental work because Medicare did not cover it.
C: Friends in the past who had to wait until Tuesdays to go to a clinic run by a church to get health care or treatment for various problems.

There's some real psychological issues going on here. We have no idea what her home life or relationship with parents was like.

That said, this is the end result of feminism's war on femininity. If feminine traits are weak and submissive, they're bad, and if masculine traits are strong and independent, they're good.

Of course, in order to sell this, the Left can't even admit such ideas as feminine traits or masculine traits. They're just 'good' or 'bad' traits (LEADING = good vs following = bad, INDEPENDENCE = good vs dependence = bad, etc).

Masculine traits the Left has simply declared "good": Leadership, Independence, Strength, Self-esteem, Career-oriented, Productive (resource-providing)
Feminine traits the Left has simply declared "bad": Follower, Dependence, Weakness, Low-esteem, Family-oriented, Non-resource providing (housewife)

If you can teach society good vs bad instead of ying-yang, the rest is easy.

Apparently they don't understand the influence a good mother can be to her children if she keeps peace at home and makes daddy happy.

Edit: There has to be a mutual need for people to stay connected. Both sides can't be striving for the same thing. It'll simply never work.

And yet it hasn't occurred to them that the very phrase "rapid onset gender dysphoria" belies it as being a form of psychosis. I thought the whole idea behind trannies was that they always felt like they were the opposite gender, and the argument was that their brain was wired for that gender and they needed surgery to correct their outward appearance to match their brain.

This sounds more like someone having a nervous breakdown, deciding that cutting off their genitalia will make it all better, and doctors obliging them. Quite in keeping with such other fine historical medical practices such as leeches, lobotomies, eugenic sterilization of negroes and the retardeds...

No matter how wonderful someone's life is, they will feel oppressed or unfairly treated at least some of the time. Sometimes with cause, but often even from people who love them dearly and go out of their way to favor them.

When a precious snowflake comes from a loving home and starts hearing in college how oppressed she is, she's likely to eat it up, and turn into the most twisted, ungrateful, and ruined person possible. If college and the rest of society promoted wholesome values, they would be fine, but in the current year, they more or less go insane.

This is a trend that started with the Baby Boomers that carried down to the Millennials, this passive refusal to define what constitutes cultural norms. Parents treat their kids like such snowflakes that they don't want to categorize and hold them to cultural norms because "they can do anything," and in turn, their kids grow up self-obsessed and confused because they have no identities and quickly lose themselves in a sea of cultural Marxism and propaganda. It's no wonder this girl came back from college as a mentally broken xir-thing that her parents wouldn't recognize in high school. This girl's parents screwed up along the way. Their first mistake was refusing to accept that they have a daughter that needs guidance and control valves to ensure that she knows who and what she is and her place in the world. All the Marxism in the world won't break a person who is culturally rooted from proper upbringing.

The big universities will tack all medical expenses onto existing student debt if you're enrolled in their student health plan and use their teaching hospitals.

Don't forget the second part. She was a SJW but her mom wasn't worried about her because, like her friends, she knew how to slut it up to land a man.
