I met this older woman at the gym. We were friendly for a while. She is religious. After months of talking at the gym, we exchanged numbers last week. I said let's get coffee some time.

She texts me almost every day with cute inspirational messages and asking for me to pray for her, and I'm so busy I don't respond. She texted me today that she is going to delete my contact info so she doesn't bother me anymore, but to have a blessed life. She is an older woman who recently got back into Christianity after 2 divorces. She is in her late 40s but is MILF.

This has never happened to me before and not sure how to proceed. Any suggestions or interpretations would be helpful.

I'm surprised when I find out some older people are just as texting-obsessed as the younger ones. I would just pretend she never did anything and keep talking to her when you are able.

Obviously that's way too long, but gym approaches should be a little more platonic since you'll otherwise establish a bad reputation.

Why get her number and not follow up on it? If you're too busy to get her out with plans to fuck her, shouldn't have gotten her number.

She sounds retarded, you should ask her a question similar to "how many licks to get to the center of a tootsie-roll pop?", except phrase it to something she can understannd: "how many dicks did it take for you to find Jesus?".

I'm being harsh, but I despise the aged, worn-out, "born-again" types. They often are overly pious and incredibly condescending with their newfound "faith." Also will expect you to wait a gentlemanly 3 dates for sexual intercourse, or if they're really devoted, until marriage, because they're "born-again."

Sounds like she's still into you, telling you she's dropping contact is like a desperate plea for attention, your options are to invite her out, or cut her loose. If you invite her out and she gives any static or resistance, no counteroffer if she's busy, etc., she is a grade A attention whore and only wanted you around for validation.

Edit/Addendum: If you do get her out, and your frame is strong enough, you can get her to drop the religious lingo and behavior and be more real with you. It's kind of like a massive shit test; is your frame strong enough to override her faux piety?

No one has bothered address the elephant in the room, she is late 40s, why bother at all? Delete her number and go after younger/hotter/tighter girls. You can still be polite to her when you see her but she isn't a plate or worth getting out on dates.

It took me months to get her number because it hasn't come up. I've been super busy. I wasnt really pursuing it that hard. Same reason I didn't respond to her texts. Now my schedule is more open so I decided to get her number to set up a coffee date since I dont drink. I hope this clears things up. Thanks for the responses.

It sounds like you want to bang her. If the desire is strong enough I recommend sending either (1) nothing, or (2) “I’ve been really busy with XYZ. Let’s get coffee on ABC day.” I would not apologize or explain any further. If she wants you at all she can re-engage. If not, why waste time?

In the warped reality of the female mind she is informing you that you have not responded correctly to her needs. She's telling you beforehand she's going to delete you because she knows, when you realize what you've done wrong, that you want to change your behavior to not disappoint her. Otherwise, she would do what normal people do and simply delete you. So, maybe if you beg her to give you a second chance, she won't delete you after all.

Why are you hung up on a whack job like her? There aren't enough problems in life already?

She is not the only one I am talking to. I am willing to give her a shot as she seems like a sweetheart, albeit a bit crazy. She doesn't stop texting me. We have a coffee date this coming sunday.

I am a very busy guy. I work full time+, school part time, gym 3 days a week, bjj 3 days a week, daily one hour meditation sits, weekly volunteer work including weekends, and mens group meetings.

I wake up at 4am, get home at 8:30pm, and hopefully I'm in bed asleep by 10pm m-f.

Saturdays and sundays are a bit more relaxed, but still busy. For example this Saturday I have a workshop to be able to better mentor men. I currently mentor one man and another one is seeking my mentorship in a few weeks. I do this gladly and for free. This is all more important to me than a woman I met at the gym. As I only have what I have because another man helped me. Passing this along is an important part of my life as it helps me with my spiritual growth.

A little longwinded, but I thought I would give some background.

Basic point I'm getting across is that I dont have time to text my brother and best friend back some days, let alone an almost stranger. She is sweet and gives off crazy sex vibes, so I'm open to see where this goes.
