I truly have to fight to avoid outrage porn because a lot of it is so meaningless. There are 325 million people in this country- it is too easy for us to find some person to say something to cause "outrage". Example:

I can easily find a black dude who believes "kill all white men"

I can easily find some dunce who believes"We should abolish ICE and have open borders"

Fight the outrage porn and just don't click on it.

It's hard to care anymore.

If anything, I'm desensitized.

Someone said they hate men? Someone said they hate white people? Some company said we hate men/America/whatever but buy our razors/shoes/music? Some ivy league paper advocating taking notes on white people today for blackmail in case they become popular later? Some Asian twat at the NY Times hates white boys (but secretly loves them)? Democrats want to bring in more illegals but don't give two shits about veterans?

I care but I don't care. I've made my peace with it.

I know from experience that extreme crazy and stupid can ultimately only be ignored or crushed. If you ignore it too long once its grown to a certain level, it will burn your house down.

Today, I mostly ignored the crazy and stupid and hope the tide will turn before the fire gets out of hand.

However, I feel the day will come soon where I will have to crush it. But that's OK. I'll be ready.

It appeals to our voyeur desire, to be on the outside looking in casting judgment. To see a house burn and ponder why they didn't turn the stove off, or see a car burning and wonder why it didn't have a fire extinguisher. It makes us feel more human but paradoxically it makes us feel more alienated. It gives us a sense of excitement of being apart of a bigger group, a bigger tribe. For some of us we want to see the next great leader of man rise. For others seeing the enemy get destroyed in debates is satisfying.

Its all a waste of time honestly.

Around the time of the election I spent over a year constantly fucking up my emotions and well being with all the outrageous shit that was going on. There's so much shit that happened that we have totally forgotten about, that at one time I'd lose sleep over, like the Podesta's art collection, or Harvard kids actually debating that the white race should collectively commit suicide, or videos of innocent white people being attacked.

I have tuned everything out. It can destroy your life. No news, no TV, very little social media besides things related to my passions and hobbies.

I have accepted that the sheep will be sheep, I can't save them, so observing their peril is purely a destructive force. Best look out for yourself and those immediately around you, live positively and try to be prepared.

To the poster saying he has wanted a civil war, that's exactly where this leads, and that's the natural response if you have any balls left. We all should have just a little bit of those feelings deep inside of us now. There is nothing to be ashamed of. The men before us choose to revolt all throughout history. It's how shitty civilizations/systems are replaced with better ones.

I hate the feeling of being outraged and I periodically do temporary abstinence from this forum and international news in general to avoid it.

But I cannot completely ignore it too because I feel the need to be in touch with the latest winds of the world.

I am much more happy when I read the rare good news, that includes news that some leftist liberal has faced justice and retribution for me.

It's not really the outrage porn for me. It's the fact that so many people out there just won't leave me the fuck alone. The whole live and let live mentality is lost on so many people. An example is the thread about the yale lawsuit. These 3 girls could just not go to the parties. But what do they decide to do? They want to fucking sue the School to force the frats to let them join and castrate the frats.

Just it really makes me think civil war is unavoidable at this point. The outrage porn is there no matter what I do. I definitely think for your mental health it's best to avoid that shit but in 2019 it's hard man. really hard.

Admittedly, I'm addicted as well. It's a total time suck and I'm starting to believe it's just as unhealthy for your mind as regular porn -- the dopamine hits are just as powerful when you stumble on something that piques your interest. And then you try to extend it further by seeing what others are saying, then adding your comments, and then sharing links with friends to get their reaction. Wow, isn't social media grand?

I'm also starting to believe the reaction we have from a sensational event or news bite is most likely the desired response by the perpetrator or the media outlet who is packaging it to bump up their viewership. We're being played. Plus, there's really nothing you can do after the fact in 99.9% of cases.

What's more, folks on the right have found a way to monetize it with their super chat livestreams, podcasts, etc. At this point, I'm seeing about this much difference...



...between a thot streamer and a red or black pill streamer. These guys have basically replaced political talk radio and are using what's passed around on the 'net to make a buck by peddling smut -- Roosh Hour being the exception, of course, because it's more humorous than angering (and this is his forum).

If you're not outraged, you don't take to the streets to protest, you don't go to rallies, you don't pressure politicians to fix the country (any country).

I don't think humans were designed to give a shit about cultural issues outside of their immediate tribe. Although I'm not perfect, I actively try my best to avoid getting my emotions involved in things that do not affect my friends, family, or myself. I like to be kind and generous to strangers when given the opportunity - the more local, the better.

I'll take the risk of physically suffering a horrible fate at the hands of the liberals if it means not having to rage all day about divorce laws and late term abortion.

There's probably something to say on it. In wider terms I think internet addiction is the issue (I'm guilty). Getting that stimulation, getting all riled up, writing a self-righteous comment and getting that buzz from the comfort of sitting on a couch in your own home. Easy stimulation and righteous anger. I don't partake, my only online interactions/musings outside of Instagram are on this forum. But if you look at comments on news-related Facebook posts or news articles you'll see what I mean.

The everything else section and its MRA-like content usually has something that pisses me off.

On the other hand... Some of the game section too, when the nihilistic dark triad trolls roll in that condemn every woman a whore.

Not every woman is an evil cunt (or slave to her basal desires) but some of them are and should be avoided due to the problems they may cause (plenty of threads here).

Pragmatism wins every time in real life.

Outrage addiction is real, we all suffer from it but at the same time, cultural collapse is accelerating at a pace none of us thought would happen.
- Cardi B, a ghetto new york stripper, is an honored musician. She is a reflection of what people under 25 are into.
- The president is a celebrity billionaire. His personality type is the only type that could hold epic shitlord frame for months on end against the onslaught of the media while being able to have funds for it all.
- Trans rights, which basically no one asked for, is now the most pressing civil rights matter. Gay marriage was shoved upon us by the court system.
- Several historically conservative states now teeter on the edge of electoral change while liberal mega-states runaway with crazy 70+% voting margins.
- Any shitlord comment against the liberal cult can be used against you in corporate office warfare if youre anything above a grunt worker.
- The national debt is a number that the human brain cant even comprehend. Mortgage-auto-student debts are at all time highs, which is the foundation of the educated, home owner, commuter middle class lifestyle.
- Almost all women have no homemaking skills. Not that any men have standards for that anymore, men are being indoctrinated by porn starting at age 13, such as myself. im only now waking up from that.
- The united states has 45 million foreign born people. Thats larger than most nations on the planet.
- The police state is slowly eeking into every aspect of our freedom and recreations. No wonder video games are extremely popular. You cant upset the police state if you simply disappear into a video gaming black hole.

But the solution to the outrage is to simply turn your back on those who rule you or beg from you. The powerful do not deserve my loyalty and the poor do not deserve my sympathy.

In the past. But I'm looking at the whole thing differently now.

There are a lot of problems and who knows what the future will be. There's going to be a lot getting worse. Accept it or be angry about it.

Then when dealing with leftists. I sometimes got very angry with their words to the point I came very close and close to punching them in the face. It's because I didn't accept that their insanity exists and I just have to live with it.

Now when I'm dealing with it I just say what I want, calmly. I just dump what I have to say with no real emotion, investment or care in how they respond. Now it's just them that are in outrage, rather than both of us. And as they are highly emotional beings, they'll never be able to get out of that.

Recently I was somewhere with some tourists from one of the most left-wing countries. They were talking about equality in their country as if that is all that is - there can't be anything else. Then feminism came up. I calmly deposited some positions and was met with stunned silence as their Scandinavian bubble was pricked. I didn't say anything with sharp edges, as if I was saying things just to annoy them or be controversial. In a white knight manner the guy began to interrogate me with increasing frustration until he stormed off in his pink socks.

It doesn't feel great for someone when you've just subjected them to such a hate crime; and you don't even care. While they've worked themselves up into histrionics. It communicates you have a higher status than them.

Leave the left to outrage. It's their whole thing. Leave them to not come to terms that you wont think as they want you to think.

If the left are outraged there is probably something that you are winning in. And if you're outraged, there is probably something they are winning in. The left wouldn't be so butt-hurt if they were only winning. Accepting you have to live with their behaviour is easy when you recognise its source.

What someone says about outrage being a good motive to apply pressure. That's true to an extent. But consider Trump. He's been calm the whole time. Would he be more effective if he was in and out of his safe space having tantrums. I find it very funny that the left so incessantly say he is having tantrums and portraying him as a crying baby. Psychological projection.

Its the opposite for me, I get on here and read stories of people finding great women,(still hypergamous) and get my hopes up. Then in the real world, I hear stories and go through scenarios that ruin "love" for me again.

For example, this forum makes me believe my brother and I can one day be rich international playboys that hunt, smoke cigars, fuck women, drink whiskey, and start business after business. Then real life hits me, and I see women real nature first hand, Society makes me not want to get rich but instead stay held up in my house playing video games, and porn seems better and better. This forum and alot of right winged things give me hope, It also makes me angry but that anger soon turns into motivation. Real life depresses me.

It got to the point that MSM got too boring for me. Really, it's like they have templates for their stories, for example these were some headlines off the top of my head recently:

I could go on and on. Nothing really outrages me anymore, we are living in strange times.

There is nothing to be gained by consuming this drivel.

Sometimes in passing I encounter the stuff, but I quickly think about something else or go for a walk. If you internalize this shit too much you're going to lose all hope. Focus on making yourself better or your immediate surroundings. This stuff is out of our control until the Balkanization starts, and there will be no more time to pump out this sort of propaganda.
