After seeing this, and considering the growth of Silcone Flexbots, and let's not forget the chick in Blade Runner 2049... i'm increasingly convinced that the future is going to be more weird than I can personally imagine.

The question is also how realistic sexbots/robots would be regulated by the State, and if they will perceive themselves to be "real" people. After all, if you can emulate consciousness/intelligence, it begs the question whether that emulated being and it`s experiences are just as real as the flesh and blood human experience of the world.

There are may difficult issues here, and I doubt it will be as easy as just a woman mimicking robot you can fuck when you want. This goes whether we`re talking VR+doll, AI robot, or even more sci-fi concepts like nanobot mind uploading and emulation of reality. (my favourite)

Real time hair FX get a LOT harder as the length increases. That's why it's kept short. The technology is getting really good but it still depends on the actor's expressiveness to sell the realism.

Most actors will lose their jobs once you can get the AI to voice the script AND create the facial expressions.

For many this will be an acceptable substitute for having a "cute girl" they can chat with on a daily basis, if they give her a good personality and the ability to interact naturally in a non-judgemental way. Someone like this could also be a good virtual assistant in the age of AI -- much like the movie Her. But yeah... a company could figure out a way to take their AI and transfer it to a bot of your choosing like you would a Bluetooth speaker.

Yeah, the casino business is actually a pretty good model for this. Government regulates it...except for just few well connected players who control the whole thing.

I think we're starting to see all the pieces come together. The ability to generate realistic facial expressions is a big one.

The next step is to create a robotic face that can accurately perform the facial expressions of the AI.

Combine all that with tech like siri/alexa, which has a database of information, the ability to interact and give responses, and perform simple tasks.

Then take all of the above and put it into a synthetic body like this:
