Any reason why some girls turn on privacy and turn it off?

Off/on for some time and vice versa

Vice versa, when they get dumped or dump the guy they turns it off. Also somehow common with girls that dates a guy or has a boyfriend but they enjoy the attention so they dont keep privacy on. The extreme ones are the girl that never post a single pic of their boyfriend.
