yoyo whaddup guys

just came back from ol' vegas and thought i'd let you know of some of my experiences. the main purpose of my trip wasn't poon but to make money gambling so keep that in mind. as a result of this i didn't do any "day game" but only hit up some of the clubs and hotel bars at night

i definitely wouldn't recommend vegas for getting laid. if you compare it to the average western city it's definitely way better but for someone who has travelled to let's say latin america and asia it's very tame indeed. unless the "sin" in sin city refers to gambling it's basically just a marketing thing invented by the las vegas tourist authority to lure sexuallly frustrated western men.

since getting laid wasn't my main purpose i actually had quite a good time. some of the restaurants are pretty amazing (try the kung pao chicken at the Beijing no 9 restaurant in Caesars Palace) and some of the hotels are pretty cool - i stayed in the Bellagio which was one of the best hotel experiences i've ever had.

find below an overview of my poon hunting experience:

on Sunday evening hit up the Bank club @ the Bellagio:

I thought the lay-out of the club was pretty nice and the vibe and music was pretty good. ended up talking to this pretty attractive black girl; grabbed her booty and thought it was looking all good; she then asked me what brought me to Vegas. I remembered reading Roosh's blog post about answering "sex and drugs" when girls ask you this to preselect girls available for same night action. So I answered "sex and drugs" which she thought was pretty funny. 1 minute later however, she's like "you know i like drugs as well and i have some coke with me - do you wanna party?" so she was looking for $ and i wasn't going to pay for it so she walked off.

i then grabbed a drunk american girl that walked by; we made out for a bit and i grabbed her butt and hooters; she was so drunk she wasn't making any sense and her friends didn't want her to leave so it wasn't going anywhere; by that time it was getting very crowded. i was horney but didn't see any hotties that i thought were worthy of my cock so decided to head for the ol' spearmint rhino stripclub.

by this time i was pretty wasted. had a $100 dance with a very attractive blonde american stripper who i ended up making out with as well. some of those chicks were hinting that they could be "taken out" as well but i wasn't interested in that

Monday evening hit up the Marquee nightclub in the Cosmpolitan hotel. the club has a very nice lay-out but i didn't really like it there. the people there seemed to consist mostly of stuck up cunts and rich douchebags. all that VIP/bottle service bullshit gets old pretty quickly; i also didn't like the music; strange mixture of RnB and techno. also spotted lots of obvious hookers. left pretty quickly as i was also still fairly wiped out from jet-lag and the previous night.

Thursday evening hit up Tao at the Venetian. i was really up for doing lots of approaches now being fully rested but i found it a dreadful club with shit music (mostly RnB and hip hop). it seemed like 65% of the people there were frustrated white guys all keen to get "to the party" and not minding the overpriced drinks and bad attitude of the unattractive girls there. for some reason there seemed to be loads of British people including a bachelorette (hen) party of British Asian girls who were all overweight skanks. needless to say i left the club pretty soon.

so all in all do come to vegas for the hotels, gambling and food, but not for girls. i imagine if you live there and have time to build up a social circle, the nightlife can be pretty fun, e.g. the hotel bars in Bellagio, Cosmo and Wynn; definitely don't go to the clubs though

I completely disagree.

You stated the real problem yourself, don't go to clubs. There are girls looking for a good time EVERYWHERE in Vegas. No need to go to a club to find them.

I disagree on the "social circle" thing for Las Vegas.

Las Vegas is the last place on earth where you need/want a "Social Circle".

I agree with not going to clubs, only worth it to experience the club itself if you have never been.

I was with 3 friends and both nights we went to the ceasars courtyard and picked up the first group we talked to. The first night we wanted to find a group to help us get into the club, but ended up just heading back to our room with them.

I'm completely with Vicious. I've always found LV rich with high quality girls. I would even venture sayin you would be better off meeting them outside the clubs.

I think that's fine. You're still approaching. Some guys solely meet girls via making friends and introductions (and likely online). I think it's too indirect.

I think that's fine. You're still approaching. Some guys solely meet girls via making friends and introductions (and likely online). I think it's too indirect.

In my understanding, "social circle game" would consist on spending a lot of time doing activities with guys and girls with the chance of getting "in" with girls in the group or introduced to girls in the group.

Bumping this thread as I am going to LV for first time at age 34....yah anamolly thinking I have been to 44 states in US and every major city but I guess the Universe wanted me to wait and be on top of my game when I go there.

I am there thursday night to sunday...lots of college buddies meeting up from all corners of country...

Some of my idiot buddies have bought "VIP PASSES" to all the clubs at the Palm and such things but as G and others have recommended I am not setting my foot in the club while I am there....I am taking my sports coats, slacks and zippo and will be with my trusted wing at the lounges and casino bars socializing with lizards....and maybe gentleman's club too ...

Any recommendations for hot spots to hit up as seen by recent visitors there....that are not CLUBS?

We are staying at the MGM GRAND....

G has an extensive datasheet on his blog about good spots for Vegas.

Also, those VIP passes your friends have bought will do little to get them in the door. Anyone that's not buying bottle service at close to 4-fgiures is a chump in Vegas clubs. Try using some of the club money to drop at tips in a good restaurant and witness the result. I dropped $50 in tip at the Stripsteak steakhouse at Mandalay Bay on my first night there. On return visits I had the bartender putting hot chicks next to me and getting me onto guest lists of la members only lounge.

It should be noted, that MGM will not really impress anyone. It is kind of a neutral in my book.

There are some decent restaurants in that place, but I don't really feel that casino all in all.

I would spend most of your time outside that casino.

Switch to Wynn if you can. Especially since it shouldn't be too much more than MGM (if at all).

Or maybe that new Cosmopolitan spot (not on my radar, but I have heard good things).

I am sure Fisto can weigh in on this thread. He would be the "go-to" guy for sure.

Trust me.

I would change to Wynn or Cosmo.

Having things at your fingertips (so to speak) is way better than cabbing to another place everytime.

This move alone, I guarantee you, will get you at least one more swoop than if you stay at MGM.

Don't be lazy. Do it.

Plus, it shouldn't cost you any more. It's a no-brainer. If it is more, you will make up the cost in saved cab fares.

I was just in Vegas this past weekend. Nothing in my opinion compares to the Cosmo right now. Every single part of that hotel is filled with people and most importantly girls. There are literally thousands of people trying to get into Marquee on those nights and the overflow is considerable. Coupled with the Chandelier bar which attracts a lot of people, all the restaurants on the 2nd/3rd floors, and the other bars in the hotel I would highly recommend it. I stayed at Palms Place which is extremely nice and relatively cheap, but the crowd at the Palms has gone very south - very ghetto.

I went to Moon at the Palms both nights and it was less than great. Still possible but not what I've come to see from Vegas clubs. We went cause we were with some 21yo's that didn't have money and it was free. I will say one thing, Drais is still awesome. Went for the first time in several years and it was still great. You have to have some stamina though, as it doesn't get going until about 4am. But the girls there are ready to party.

One thing I will recommend is the Saturday daytime parties in the Winter. We went to Ghostbar Day Club and was pleasantly surprised with the # of hot white girls there very drunk. Our friends went to Lavo after the GBDC and said Lavo was even better. Check those out if you have the stamina during the day. Definitely not something you can attend sober as the shenanigans and energy is very high there.

Unless you have a nonrefundable reservation at MGM, I'd switch like others are saying. Planet Hollywood is a decent backup to Cosmo as I believe they are connected and you can walk across. And randomly Monte Carlo has always been good to me - lots of chicks stay there for some reason.

I wrote a data sheet up on Vegas that's floating around somewhere. I live here and it can be hard to pick up here or enjoy yourself if you don't have means or connections.

I used to say "I'm not going to wherever if I have to wait in line" Now I say "I'm not going unless we have a table" It's just too annoying in clubs if you're not at a table, which sucks really. I'm back to lounges and bars right now, usually off the strip.

Not at all. I'm saying that it all depends on how much trouble you're willing to go to. I can get into most places without the line or the cover, but I'm spoiled to the point where I don't want to go unless my friends and I have a table. I've also been a fan of a change of scenery...I'm sure I'll go back pretty soon.

It's definitely there but it's been heavily monetized. And you only hear from the guys getting some, they keep the hype alive.

For a MUCH cheaper experience in Las Vegas, enjoy the city like a local and just hang out on/around the UNLV campus... and do so when the weather is HOT... girls tend to wear really skimpy clothes, including to class. Stop by the Freakin' Frog, Crown & Anchor, and other bars/clubs around the University, also the Hard Rock on Paradise which is in the UNLV neighborhood. Beats dropping beaucoup bucks at an ultralounge or strip club... And the girls are among the easiest lays in America. Maybe not what it was in the 90s, but still good...

Agreed. There are so many people coming in and out of Vegas it's extremely easy to be that "mysterious stranger." You don't need friends in Sin City, but as with everything... having a few contacts can be very helpful.

UNLESS you're actually from Las Vegas or have friends who grew up there. Yeah, hooking up on the strip is fun for sure, and definitely not hard considering every tourist in town is looking to go crazy. But I've never been anywhere that has as good of house parties as Vegas. I've been to more luxurious parties in Miami, Sao Paulo, or Aspen for sure, but on terms of pure fun and chicks DTF, nowhere compares to Vegas in terms of house parties. The locals there know how to get down, plus the local tallent is great. Talk all you want about social circle game if that's what you'd call a house party (Which I don't think it would be if you're at a party of 200 where 70% are strangers), but unless you plan on spending massive amounts of money in Vegas, you'll have WAAAAYYYYYY more fun at the right house party than you will at any club any day.

Since that's not gonna be the case for most people though...

Honestly, the clubs can be fun, but def. not the best place to pick up. IMO, clubs in most parts of America will never be the best place to pick up. For me, when I was on the strip, I had the best luck just walking around the casinos, bars and the strip bullshittin'. The only places I've been that were easier to get a make out (not sex, just make out) than walking around on the strip were a couple of Brazilian clubs or Brazilian micaretas. But just like in Brazil, the bang can be a bit harder than the kiss. That's been my experience on the strip. But then again I grew up there and I've never been there on vacation. A lot of people may see things different, especially if you're going with a big bank roll.
