Roosh, I'm hoping you can give some guideance...

Today, I tried day game. I only wanted to appraoch women I was attracted to. Went to a book shop and within a few minutes was talking to a pretty 25 yo. The conversation lasted about 10 minutes. Although she seemed quite happy to chat and laugh, she did not ask me too many questions. Certainly a few but not that many. I ended the conversation by saying I'll see her about etc.

I did not feel nervous and I enjoyed the interaction. In fact, it seemed quite natural. What I didn't do was follow a series of progressive steps and am wondering if this why I didn't get a more positive result.

The question is, how important is it in having a formulaic routine with a number of progressive steps? Or is this more natural chat ok?

It's essential have a system that you know works in getting numbers. Take notes of things that work until something forms. Will take dozens of day time approaches though until you start to see it.

If I lived in the US I'd consider doing your workshop to get some direct feedback. I have bought your book though and am looking forward to getting some closer insights into day game (not yet read as I've been working in Europe these last three months and it's waiting for me at home in the UK).

I took Roosh's day game workshop, and it made me a firm believer in day time approaches. I've been getting numbers left and right. If it weren't for Roosh's day game workshop, I don't know that I'd be doing day game at all right now.

Now, what I recommend: You need to get the girl to invest in the interaction. The more she adds to the conversation, the more she forces herself to believe she likes you. Get her to talk about herself (by cold reading) and then tell her she seems interesting, and that you and her should hang out sometime; then say something like "what's the best way to reach you?"
