Are you staying with friends or are you doing a resort? What do you want to do while there?

RE: Punta Cana?
Punta Cana is almost ALL touristy. The area is geared towards couples and is bold about it too. Yes there is a nice club designed like a bunch of caves BUT usually tourists come to the club. I was there in July (to attend a wedding) and the club has some North American Telecommunications party there with close to NO natives in attendance.

You will have to travel 30 minutes in either direction to the towns of Bavaro or Higuey for "chicas" but you are talking "hood chicks". Another town is La Romana which is close to an hour away. I didn't notice any universities where you can meet girls. I am sure that you can find some gems in those towns, but remember that those women in those towns are poor so that leads in some cases to the type of "transactions" that we don't like to talk about on this board.

Santiago and Santo Domingo would be better D.R. choices.

RE: Punta Cana?
There is really nothing in Punta Cana other than the all inclusive resorts.

It is the single least DR place in all of DR.

Blag your way into hotel bars and hit up the chicks there.

Thats basically the only thing you can do.

Only thing I know about Punta Cana is this Sexy Argentine Chick I use to know went up there for Vacation.
She went with her fam though.
From the pictures..It looked like a pure tourist trap...not really a place with alot of single girls...
Looked like South americans with money at a Time Share
