It is generally not recommended as chances of screwing up are pretty high, reason being you can't convey context,body language over phone and more so over texts. The same thing that would elicit an armslap IOI and moisten the 'gina when done with a huge smirk on your face in person, could flip the other way and make her totally shut you down when done on text. That said, it is not entirely impossible - I have done it, using double entendres and innuendos - you bait her, she bites and you escalate more finally resulting in sexting. But even then, unless she calls you over then and there, when you meet the chick a day later it's not going to lead "straight to sex" as her feelings would have changed and you would have to still warm her up.

Use your initial texts for strictly logistical purposes. Never get sexual until you've banged her, you might scare her away. Plus even if she responds positively, what good is that going to do you when she's not there to service you.

Spend more time figuring out how to get a higher % of the girls you text/call to your place, and your lay count will rise.
